Every word here is his. Nothing has been paraphrased, joined or improved. Each passage was cut out of the book it belongs to by reference, and each carries that book and the paragraph it came from, so anything on this page can be found again in the source. He returns to the cross in nearly every book; 38 of the 382 passages come from Tarot and Kabbalah, and the rest are gathered from all fifty-two books.

The first part is INRI, the four letters written over the cross: “The secret of Christification is found enclosed within the sign of the cross.” “The Advent of Christ in the heart of man, radically transforms us.”

The second part is the cross of the two forces, the vertical and the horizontal, the masculine and the feminine: “The Fire is the Father, and the water the Mother of the universe, both together form the CROSS.” “There cannot be creation without the sign of the Holy Cross.”

The third part is the cross of initiation, the cross of the elements and the drama of the cross: “The cross of initiation is given to us in the heart-temple.” “Remember good disciple that the cross weighs the weight of your own Karma.”

The fourth part is the cross each one carries, the stations of the cross and the Golgotha of the Father: “Each one of you must carry his cross.” “We must rise to the Golgotha with the cross on our back.”

The fifth part is the crucifixion within: the death on the cross, the crown of thorns, the three nails and the three traitors: “The Lord is crucified within us.” “It is necessary to die; the ego must die.”

The sixth part is the cross of all ages: the swastika, the tau, the cross of Saint Andrew, the cross of Quetzalcoatl, and the rose that flowers on the cross: “The Swastika is the Cross in movement, sex in complete activity, sexual transmutation in action.” “When this cross carries the rose at its center, it becomes the rosicross.”

The last part is the practices: the mantram INRI, the sign of the cross, and the prayers to the cross: “The mantram I.N.R.I. has absolute power over the fire.” “Oh Cross of marvellous destinies placed by the Highest in the multiplicity of the Universe so that you are the redemption of mankind.”

12 passages

IThe Mystery of Christ is defined on the Cross

The four letters written over the cross are read as Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra, the fire that renews nature incessantly, and the secret of Christification is said to lie enclosed in the sign of the cross itself. INRI is written in characters of fire on the seven columns of the temple of wisdom; only with INRI is the temple of the Internal Christ raised upon sex, and the initiate who violates chastity is left without it.

I lift my eyes up high, and upon the igneous head of the most exalted among all the sacrificed ones, I read this word: I.N.R.I.

The Revolution of Beelzebub, 1950

Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra. (The fire renews nature incessantly).

The Revolution of Beelzebub, 1950 also in The Words He Uses

The human consciousness must Christify itself in order to be born in Life free in its movement. The secret of Christification is found enclosed within the sign of the cross. The secret of our Christification is found enclosed within the sexual union of the masculine and feminine principles, represented by the vertical and horizontal beams of the cross.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Law of Polarities

The word “INRI” is written over the cross of the Martyr of Calvary. This word is read like this: Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram (the Fire incessantly renews nature). The fire transforms all. “Change the natures, and you will find what you seek.”

Christmas Messages, 1952–66

The Temple of Wisdom has seven columns and the word INRI is written on each of the seven columns in characters of fire. Only with INRI can we erect the temple for the Internal Christ. The seven columns are erected upon the Philosopher’s Stone (sex).

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

33. Our disciples will now comprehend why the word “INRI” was placed above the head of the crucified one.

Igneous Rose, 1954

34. This word signifies: “IGNIS NATURA RENOVATUR INTEGRA” (the fire renews Nature incessantly).

Igneous Rose, 1954

59. These students are perfectly lost because the union with the Intimate is possible only by means of fire. This is why the word INRI (Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra) was placed upon the cross of the martyr of the Calvary. The fire renews Nature incessantly. 60. Are you a Gnostic? Are you a Mystic? Are you a Yogi?

Igneous Rose, 1954

Only with INRI will you reach the Golgotha of the Father.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

We can only attain the Incarnation of the Father when we have developed the Seven Grades of the Power of Fire. Clearly, if the Initiate violates his vows of chastity, he falls. If we kabalistically add the numbers of Arcanum 16 it gives: 1 + 6 = 7 the Seven Grades of the Power of Fire, the “Seven Steps of the Mind”. If the Initiate falls, he is fulminated by Arcanum 16 and tumbles down those steps. In occult science it is said that he is left without INRI (Ignis, Natura, Renovatur, Integra); has failed. This is then, the Fulminated Tower. Of those who are left without INRI there are they who fall from the Tower. The victorious, they who achieve the Second Birth, enter the Order of Meichizedek, the Order of Keb, the Genie of the Earth.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in Chastity

Christ is the Fire of the Fire, the Flame of the Flame, the Astral Sign of Fire. The Mystery of Christ is defined on the Cross of the Martyr of Calvary, with just one word consisting of four letters: INRI. Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram. Fire Incessantly Renews Nature. The Advent of Christ in the heart of man, radically transforms us. Christ is the SOLAR LOGOS, perfect Multiple Unity. Christ is the life which throbs in the entire universe, is what is, what has always been and what will always be.

The Great Rebellion, 1975 also in The Intimate Christ, The Solar Logos

I withdrew a few steps and waited to see what would happen, and suddenly that Master sent me a piece of paper with the Guardian of the temple. The Guardian handed it to me, I read the paper, it said: “Leave immediately from this temple, but with INRI” –with INRI means preserving the Fire, given that I had not actually fornicated, I did not pass beyond caresses–. Well, all in all, I then said: “No way! This is serious.”

The Fifth Gospel The Exercise of SELF-KNOWLEDGE

9 passages

IIChrist is I.N.R.I., the central fire

These passages identify the Christ with INRI, the living and philosophical fire found at the centre of every cosmic unity, every planet and every sun. Jesus is said to have assimilated the Christic substance by working with INRI, and the same fire is described as lying buried in the seminal system, so that in death one is reborn pure and intact.

Jesus had the heroism to assimilate the Christic Substance in all his internal vehicles. He achieved this by working with INRI (Fire). Thus, the Hierophant was able to be One with the Father. Jesus became a Christ and ascended to the Father. Everyone who assimilates the Christic Substance in the physiological, biological, animic and Spiritual self becomes a Christ. So then, Christ is not some kind of human or divine individual. Christ is a cosmic substance that is found in all infinite space. We need to form Christ within us. This is only possible with INRI (Fire).

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

The living fire, the philosophical fire of the ancient medieval alchemists lies buried within our seminal system, and is poised on mystical watch for the time of awakening. INRI: Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram: Fire ceaselessly renews Nature. In Necis Renascor Integer: In death to be reborn, intact and pure.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

Indubitably, the Quetzalcoatlian fire is the fundamental center of every cosmic unity. It would be inconceivable to exclude INRI, the philosophical and living fire, from any creative universal work.

For the Few, 1980

The Light is our Saviour. The origin of the Light is in the Fire. The Light is the Fire. The Light, the Fire, INRI, saves us from the power of the Lion of the Law.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

The tenebrous elements attack, even reaching unto the Thirteenth Aeon. This is terrible. Nevertheless, the Intimate Christ defeats the tenebrous ones and liberates Pistis Sophia. The Intimate Christ is INRI, the devouring fire, the living fire. Seven lights emerge from Christ.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Intimate Christ

I, IGNIS, INRI, the Sulphur.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

I, the Perfect Man is put in movement by ‘I’: IGNIS, INRI, the Fire.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

Christ is I.N.R.I., the central fire of the Earth and of every Sun or Galaxy.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Intimate Christ

Unquestionably, this universe has emerged from its original proto-hyle. When Aries, the Lamb, the Sacred Fire, fecundated the great Limbus, the Magnus Limbus, life emerged. Only on the side of Aries, of the Lamb, of Fire –it can be written with those four letters: INRI–, is it possible for us to become independent of the lunar forces; otherwise, it is not possible.

IIIINRI of the Christians

INRI is set beside the other names of the one sacred fire: the Astral Light, the Azoth and Magnesia of the alchemists, Lucifer, Huehueteotl, Abraxas and the Tao. The Philosophical Stone carries Adam, Eve, Azoth and INRI on its four faces, and the Tao is called the Secret Path, the Being and INRI at once.

21. This blessed Stone has four names. 22. NITROGEN, INRI, ADAM, EVE.

Manual of Practical Magic, 1954

“It may be said therefore that the Philosophical Stone is square in every sense, like the heavenly Jerusalem of St John; that one of its sides is inscribed with the name of Adam and the other with that of Eve, and the two others those of Azoth and INRI.” (Eliphas Levi) The Philosophical Stone is very sacred.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

The great battle takes place in the Astral Light. The Astral Light is the depository of all the past, present and future forms of Great Nature. The Astral Light is the Azoth and Magnesia of the ancient Alchemists, the Flying Dragon of Medea, INRI of the Christians, the Tarot of the Bohemians. The Astral Light is the terrible Sexual Fire issuing from the nimbus of the Sun and bound to the Earth by gravity and the weight of the atmosphere. It is the Sun, which attracts and repels that enchanting and delicious Light. The Astral Light is the Lever of Archimedes. The old sage said, “Give me one point of support and I shall move the universe.”

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

The Philosophical Stone is the foundation of science, of philosophy and of religion. The Philosophical Stone is squared like the Celestial Jerusalem of Saint John. Upon one of its faces is the name of Adam, upon the other, Eve, and those of Azoe and INRI upon the other two sides.

Huehueteotl, as a natural element, is the Christian INRI, the Gnostic Abraxas, the Chinese Tao, the Buddhist Zen, and the A gnus Dei.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974 also in The Words He Uses

Tao is the esoteric-Gnostic work, Tao is the Secret Path, Tao is INRI, Tao is the Being. When one lives in the center of the circle, then he is not inside that little mechanical game of the Law of Pendulum; he is not subject to those alternatives of anguish and joy, triumph and failure, joy and pain, optimism and pessimism, etc., no; he has liberated himself from the Law of Pendulum, this is obvious.

The Fifth Gospel The Pendular Conduct of Humanity Mexico City July 13th, 1977 also in The Being Is the Being, The Law of the Pendulum, The Mechanical Man

Master: Well, undoubtedly, you are talking to me about two things that are of different topics. The Tao is the Tao, the Tao is the INRI, the Tao is the Being, the Tao is what is real, the truth, that which is only experienced by the Taoist mystic, the Zen monk in a state of ecstasy or Satori, when the Consciousness is unbottled through meditation and penetrates into the Illuminating Void. Receiving the Tao implies receiving the truth.

Part Two — In the crossing of both members lies the key to all power

IThe fire is the Father, the water is the Mother

Fire is drawn as the vertical beam of the cross and water, the Christonic semen, as the horizontal; their meeting forms the cross from which the Son, the Cosmic Christ, hangs. Christ Will repeats the teaching in short verses, and a Kabbalah lesson reads the double cross of Pythagoras as the balance of man and woman, Sun and Moon.

In the dawn of life the universe did not exist; only the semen of the universe existed, the primordial waters that now are deposited in our sexual glands and that mankind foolishly squanders in its fornications. The fire is represented by the vertical beam of the cross. The water is the Christonic semen, which is represented by the horizontal beam of the cross.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66

The fire is the Father, the water is the Mother. The fire fertilizing the water forms a cross. On that cross hangs the Son, the Cosmic Christ, who is the Governor of the Cosmos. The masculine principle fertilizes the feminine principle so that from there the universe emerges. That universe is the Son, personified in the Christ, who abandoned the happiness of the Absolute in order to become the Saviour of men and gods. The primordial waters of space are the Christonic semen, our blessed Philosophical Stone, the mercury of the secret philosophy that we must fertilize with our solar fires in order to form Christ within us.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ, The Law of Polarities, The Solar Logos

20. Thus, the fire renews everything, and the Celestial man replaces the Earthly Man. 21. The seven Serpents rise above the rod, practising Sexual Magic with the priestess wife. 22. There can be sexual connection, but not a drop of semen must be spilled.

Christ Will, 1959

52. The Fire is represented by the VERTICAL PHALUS and the water by the Horizontal line; both together form a CROSS.

Christ Will, 1959 also in The Law of Polarities

53. The Fire fecundates the water, is symbolised by the Sign of the CROSS.

Christ Will, 1959

54. The Fire is the Father, and the water the Mother of the universe, both together form the CROSS.

Christ Will, 1959

55. The UNIVERSE is the son that hangs from the CROSS.

Christ Will, 1959

56. The CROSS rises amongst the water of the CHAOS, in which the CHRIST is christified. 57. Christ is a Paramartasatya.

Christ Will, 1959 also in The Intimate Christ

36. The CAUSAL LOGOS emitted from his divine mind the Cross inside the Circle, and when the Fire and Water formed a Cross with the Divine marriage, the Christ hung himself from that Cross to save mankind and the Gods of this Universe.

Christ Will, 1959 also in Gratitude and Kindness

The double cross of the Pentacles of Pythagoras and Ezekiel represents Arcanum eight. Venus balances the labors of Mars; Mercury balances and accomplishes the works of the Sun and Moon, above and below, in the macrocosm and the microcosm, man. The works of the Sun and Moon, man and woman, are balanced and accomplished by the mercury of the secret philosophy—the ens seminis.

IIIt is Jesus on the cross

The fire itself makes a cross: the interlaced P and X are the pyre and the cross, Jesus was re-baptised with the Seity of Fire and of the Cross, and the celestial and the earthly fire cross one another. Opened out, the Philosophical Stone gives two crosses, the cross of nature and its elements and the esoteric cross of the Triune Logos crucified in matter.

The God Khristus (Christ) comes from very ancient cults to the God of Fire. The interlaced P and the X represent the Pyre and the Cross. Hence, this is the hieroglyph that symbolises the Fire. The said cults reappeared at the famous Nicene Council. It is necessary to produce the fire, to work with the Sacred Fire to achieve Christification (The Arcane A.Z.F is the Key).

Christmas Messages, 1952–66

Authentic Primitive Gnostic Christianity comes from Paganism. Before Paganism the Cosmic Christ was worshipped in all cults. In Egypt, Christ was Osiris and whoever incarnated him was an Osirified one. In all ages there have been Masters who have assimilated the Infinite Universal Christic Principle. In Egypt, Hermes was the Christ. In Mexico, the Christ was Quetzalcoatl. In Sacred India, Krishna is Christ. In the Holy Land the Great Gnostic Jesus, who was educated in the land of Egypt was the one who had the joy of assimilating the Universal Christic Principle, and because of this he was worthy of being re-baptized again with the Seity (Beingness) of Fire and of the Cross, Khristos. The Nazarene, Jesus-Iesus-Zeus is the modern man who totally incarnates the Universal Christic Principle. Before him, many Masters incarnated this Christic principle of Fire. The Rabbi of Galilee is a God because he totally incarnated the Cosmic Christ. Hermes, Quetzalcoatl, Kt are Gods because they also incarnated the Cosmic Christ.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

By intelligently opening the Sacred Philosophical Stone and by extending its marvelous and splendid faces, then, with mystical astonishment, we obtain twice the sacred symbol of the Holy Cross.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

The union of the two crosses is the perfect expression of the Magisterium of Fire. The first cross is formed with the five square sides which are constituted by the four faces plus the bottom face of the Stone, and the second cross by the four triangles of its pyramidal vertex.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

Every True Initiate knows very well that the First Quadrilateral Cross symbolizes Nature with its four elements that are developed as crystallizations of Akash, Mulaprakriti or Universal Ens Seminis.

The Solar Bodies, 1968 also in Elemental Magic

It has been wisely stated to us that the Second Cross (formed by the four ternaries or splendid esoteric triangles which emanate from a center or original point) is the Esoteric Cross, a living expression of the Triune Logos that is crucified in the matter.

The Solar Bodies, 1968 also in The Intimate Christ

This was also why a sacred place in Greek homes, the interior aisle separating all rooms from those of the guests, was called Chalcidicean. This can also be appreciated in Vitruvius’ De Architectura, Procopius’ De Aed Becchi ‘5 Del Calcidio et Della Cripta Di Eumachia, and other treatises on construction where the history of this crossing or effective and symbolic Tao was linked to the duties which hospitality imposed to men. The insertion of the vertical phallus in the horizontal uterus makes a cross; anyone can verify this.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

Tempestuous Zeus gathers the clouds, and makes Olympus tremble; his lightning bolts sow fright among this suffering humanity and form a cross.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

The celestial fire and the earthly fire, the potential or virtual fohat, which gathers or separates, creates or kills, enlivens or destroys, make a cross.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

Son of the Sun which generates it, server of anyone who liberates and maintains it, the divine fire, fallen, decadent, imprisoned in matter, leads amazing and extraordinary revolutions and carries on its own redemption. It is Jesus on the cross, the marvellous image of igneous radiation that is incarnated in all of Nature.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

The god of sexual fire represents, unquestionably, one of the most ancient traditions of the Maya and the Nahua peoples. Like the sacred brazier used to light up the fire in the centre of the home and Aztec temple, he is the deity of the centre, directly related to the four cardinal points of the world. Thus, it is quite normal to find that the hierophants of the god of the flame have on them the mystical shape of the holy cross; this also decorated the incense burners, the tiemaiti (hands of fire) with which the priests incensed the holy gods.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

IIIThe White Magicians have the Holy Cross as their sacred symbol

The Holy Cross is defined as phallic, formed when the vertical enters the horizontal, and nothing is created without its sign. The wood of the redeemer's cross is the tree of knowledge, the Venus sign places the Spirit above the cross of sex, and the Divine Mother weeps at the foot of the sexual cross; with the lance swung in the sign of the cross the castle of the ego falls.

The power of the king is not on the forehead. The power of the king is in the sex. The sceptre of the sacred kings, the two columns of the temple, and the Cross of the redeemer are made with the wood of the tree of good and evil. This is the tree of knowledge (sex).

The Aquarian Message, 1960

Black magicians have a sacred symbol. This symbol is the copper vessel. The White Magicians have the Holy Cross as their sacred symbol.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

The latter is phallic. Insertion of the vertical phallus into the horizontal uterus forms the Cross. The Cross has the power to create. There cannot be creation without the sign of the Holy Cross. Animal species are crossed, atoms and molecules are crossed to perpetuate life.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

The blessed roses of spirituality blossom on the Cross of the Perfect Matrimony. The Perfect Matrimony is the union of two beings; one who loves more, and the other who loves better. The best religion available to the human race is Love.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

The Knights of the Holy Grail worked in the Flaming Forge of Vulcan, they never ignored that the Cross is the result of the insertion of the vertical beam inside the formal cteis.

Runic Magic, 1969 also in The Holy Grail

Woe to those who call themselves Christians and who carry the cross hanging over their chest, yet, they abhor the Maithuna, the Sex-Yoga. For these hypocritical Pharisees, there will be only weeping and desperation.

Runic Magic, 1969

THE CROSS; SEX UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE SPIRIT.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The symbol of Venus shows us that the Circle of the Spirit must be above the Cross of Sex, that is to say, sex under the control of the Spirit. The sign inverted, indicates that the Spirit is dominated by sex.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The blessed Spear, emblem of the sexual force, remains hanging over the head of the Initiate, who then seizes the Spear with his dexterous hand, and in a gesture he swings it in the sign of the Cross... Under such a kind of conjuration, the castle of iniquities that the sinful Adam carries inside falls into the horrible precipice, converted into cosmic dust... Then, she, the terribly beautiful and frightfully delectable female, releases form her nubile throat a lustful scream. Consequently, she sinks down dismayed within her bed of pleasures...

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970 also in Elemental Magic, Lust and Chastity, The Holy Grail

It is unquestionable that Parsifal, the mystic hero, by courageously refraining the sexual impulse, by intrepidly withdrawing himself from that impetuous blond woman whom they called Herodias, without spilling Hermes’ cup (the Ens Seminis), as a fact, is grasping in his omnipotent and terribly divine dexterous hand the Lance of Longinus, the extraordinary emblem of the ‘Genius Lucis’, the Odic or magnetic force with which in a gesture he swings in the sign of the Cross, in order to convert the animal ego into cosmic dust.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970 also in The Holy Grail

The serpent, as a feminine deity in us, is the Holy Ghost’s spouse, our Virgin Mother, who cries at the foot of the sexual cross, with her heart pierced by seven daggers. Stella Mans, the Star of the Sea, Marah, Mary or, more appropriately said, Ram-Jo, the Serpent of Fire that victoriously ascends throughout the adept’s spinal cord, is our own Being — or, rather, His offspring — and the Eagle, the Third Logos, must devour Her. Since a remote night, centuries old, the old sages of the sacred land of the Mayab have always emphasised the snake’s banquet as a transcendental idea. We need to be swallowed by the serpent.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974 also in Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted

Marah, Mary, weeps at the foot of the cross, with her heart pierced with seven daggers. The Virgin of the Sea is the Wife of the Holy Spirit.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted

Parsifal makes the sign of the cross with the lance. You know very well that the insertion of the vertical phallus within the formal cteis makes a cross. So, Parsifal makes a cross. It is precisely there where Richard Wagner’s key lies, it is precisely in that instant of the chemical or metaphysical copulation when one has the power to destroy the castle of Klingsor. That castle is carried by each one of us in his interior. There are all of the Red Demons of Seth: anger, greed, lust, envy, laziness, gluttony, etc. Precisely in the supreme instant of the copulation, we can use the lance to destroy the Red Demons of Seth with it.

IVThe cross is a surprising, marvellous and formidable sexual symbol

Here the vertical pole is masculine and the horizontal feminine, and in the crossing of the two lies the key to all power; the two thieves crucified beside the Kabir stand for white and black tantrism. The same two lines are also traced in the psychology: horizontal and vertical meet within us from moment to moment, here and now.

Jesus, the Great Kabir, was crucified between two thieves, one to his right and the other to his left...

The black lingam, inserted into the feminine yoni, forms a cross. This is well known by divines and by humans...

The Three Mountains, 1972 also in The Law of Polarities

We can and must assert as a corollary the following postulate: “Agatus and Cacus, crucified in the Mount of the Skulls, at the left and right of the Great Kabir, emphatically allegorise the white and the black tantrism, the good and evil Sexual Magic...”

The Three Mountains, 1972 also in Lust and Chastity

It is ostensible and anyone can understand that the two lines, Horizontal and Vertical, intersect from moment to moment in our psychological interior and form a Cross.

Treatise of Revolutionary Psychology, 1975 also in The Level of Being, The Words He Uses

The two horizontal and vertical lines of the Holy Cross intersect at this point. Thus, we find ourselves from moment to moment before two paths: the Horizontal and the Vertical.

Treatise of Revolutionary Psychology, 1975 also in The Level of Being

There are two lines in life. We could call one “horizontal”, the other, “vertical”, and they form a cross within us, here and now; not a second after, not a second before. We need to objectivize these two lines a little bit.

The Fifth Gospel The Verticality of Existence First Gnostic Youth Encounter – Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico – July 10. 1975

But there is a totally different line. I want to refer in an emphatic way to the vertical –as I already said before, horizontal and vertical make a cross–. But this vertical is interesting. On this vertical line are the different levels of the Being; on this vertical are the transcendental and transcendent powers of the Intimate; on this vertical are the esoteric powers, the powers that divinize, the revolution of Consciousness, etc.

VThe Cross of Initiation is phallic

One continuous run of Tarot and Kabalah gives the cross of four points, the cardinal points and ages, the equal value of the Sign of the Cross and the cross of Saint Andrew, and the cross as the alchemists' crucible. Only through the crossing of lingam and yoni without orgasm, it says, does the Kundalini awaken, and the couple invents fire with the cross in movement. The Hermit's hidden cross, which every aspirant seeks, is named as sex.

The Cross has 4 points. The Cross of Initiation is phallic; the insertion of the vertical phallus in the feminine ectasia forms the Cross. It is the Cross of Initiation which we must take upon our shoulders.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

We must understand that with its 4 points it symbolises the 4 cardinal points of the Earth: North, South, East and West; the 4 ages: gold, silver, copper and iron; the 4 seasons of the year, the 4 phases of the Moon, the 4 paths: science, philosophy, art and religion. In speaking of the 4 paths, we should understand that they are all really only one; this is the strait and narrow Path of the Razor’s Edge, the Path of the Revolution of Con sciousness. The Cross is a very ancient symbol, having been employed since the beginning in all religions, amongst all peoples, and it would be errone ous to consider it the exclusive emblem of one or another religious sect. When the Spanish Conquistadors reached the holy land of the Aztec they found the cross upon their altars.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The Sign of the Cross, the sublime monogram of Christ our Lord, the Cross of Saint Andrew and the miraculous key of Saint Peter, are marvellous replicas which are of equal alchemistic and kabalistic value. It is then, the sign which can assure victory to those who labour in the Great Work.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The sexual Cross, the living symbol of the crossing of the Lingam-Yoni, has the unmistakable and marvellous mark of the 3 keys employed to immolate the ChristMatter, a reflection of the 3 purifications by iron and by fire, without which Our Lord would not have been able to achieve the Resurrection.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Intimate Christ

The Cross is an ancient hieroglyphic which is alchemical, from crucible (creuset), which in the French was previously cruzel, crucible, croiset. In Latin, crucibulum (crucible), had as its root crux, cruxis, (cross). All this clearly invites us to reflect.

It is in the crucible where the materia prima of the Great Work suffers with infinite patience the passion of the Lord. In the Erotic Crucible of sexual alchemy the “ego” dies and the “Phoenix Bird” is reborn from amongst the self same ashes: INRI, “In Necis Renascor Integer”; “In death reborn pure and intact”.

The placing of the vertical phallus within the horizontal uterus forms a Cross; this is something which anyone may verify.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

If we reflect very seriously on that intimate relationship which exists between the “S” and the “TAU”, Cross or “T”, we arrive at the logical conclusion that it is only by means of the crossing of the “Lingam-Yoni” (phallus-uterus) with the utter exclusion of physiological orgasm, that we can awaken “Kundalini”, the Igneous Serpent of our Magical Powers.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

In the Nahuatl and Maya conception of things the Sacred “Swastika” of the Great Mysteries was always defined by the cross in movement; which is the Nahuatl “Nahuiollin”, the sacred symbol of Cosmic Movement. The two possible directions of the Swastika clearly represent the masculine and feminine, positive and negative principles of nature. Two Swastikas, one in each direction and perfectly superimposed form without doubt the Cross Potent, and represent in this sense, the erotic conjunction of the sexes. According to the Aztec legend it was a couple, a man and a woman who invented Fire; this is only possible with the Cross in movement: INRI; “Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra” “Fire incessantly renews nature”.

In Arcanum number 7 we find the Chariot, emblem of Triumph. Arcanum number 8 is Justice, emblem of the force balanced in all directions. Arcanum number 9 is the Hermit, it is the emblem of the Hidden Cross and the search for it. All aspirants seek it, but we know that at bottom, it is the Ninth Sphere, sex.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

It is the Chariot of the Ages which takes the form of the Celestial Man. The Monad finds expression by means of the Chariot; in it He travels. The 4 also represents the 4 points of the Cross, which enclose the Mysteries of the Lingam-Yoni. In the crossing of these two is found the key with which Self-Realisation is attained. The Monad Self-Realises by means of the Cross. Without the 4 there is no Self-Realisation, the Law of the Ternaries which belongs to esoteric mathematics would be violated.

VIThe union of the cross with the triangle

The cross is the human being and the triangle the Spirit, and the Great Work is to join them. The link is made with the Mercury of secret philosophy and the potable gold, the sacred fire of sex; before it there is no real existence, only the succession of the many I's.

53. The joining of the Cross with the Triangle is performed with the Mercury of Secret Philosophy.

Treatise of Sexual Alchemy, 1954

Only the sealed twelve thousand of each of the twelve tribes of Israel will be saved from the great cataclysm (this quantity is symbolic). Only those who have achieved the union of the cross/man with the triangle/Spirit will be saved.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

This is how we achieve the union of the cross with the triangle. The cross (human being) must be united with the triangle (Spirit) by means of the potable gold (sacred fire of sex). These are the twelve foundations of the heavenly Jerusalem.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

We need to transmute the lead of the personality into the Gold of the Spirit. This work is only possible in the Laboratory of the Alchemist. When the fledgling Alchemist is crowned, he is transformed into a God of Fire. He then opens with his own hand s the terrible jaws of the furious lion. The potable Gold of Alchemy is the Sacred Fire of the Holy Spirit. The fusion of the Cross-Man in the Triangle-Spirit (Arcanum No. 12) would be impossible without potable Gold.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

Once we have extracted the Potable Gold we are able to unite the Cross with the Triangle; that is to say, the Cross-Man must join with our Immortal Triad, we must incarnate the “Spirit”. It is only in this way that we become a Human Being; before achieving this we are only intellectual animals.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in Alchemy

The Great Work or “Magnum Opus” is represented by Arcanum number 12 of the Tarot (Magnum Opus is used in a strictly esoteric way). The arms of the figure form the Triangle, his feet the Cross. His head is the ligament of the Triangle with the Cross by means of Potable Gold.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

This reminds us of the twelfth card of the Tarot, which is the Apostolate, the Magnus Opus, the union of the Cross with the Triangle...

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

The entire Misterium Magnum is found contained in that “Supreme Matter”. The alchemist must extract the potable gold from amongst this Menstruum Universal in order to achieve the linking of the Cross with the Triangle. Before this linkage, we have no real existence. The four bodies of sin (physical, etheric, astral, mental) are controlled by the “I”. The Ego is not the Divine Being of a man. The Ego is really a sum total of continuous or sequential “I”s. John the drunkard, John the Don Juan, John the intellectual, John the religious man, John the businessman, John the young man, John the adult, John the old man, etc., etc., etc., are a succession of “I”, a succession of ghosts condemned to inevitable death. The “I” does not constitute the entire man. John gets in a bar fight, John becomes a religious man, John becomes a robber; this is a dance of “Johns”; which is the real one? As long as we do not escape from the multiplicity of all these false “I”s, we cannot affirm that we have real existence.

12 passages · 1 practice

IThe Cross of Initiation is received in the Heart-Temple

Across many books one sentence keeps returning: the cross of initiation is received in the temple of the heart, where the Mother and her son live and where Golgotha is lived. The four elements form that cross, and the Mayan lesson places beside it the INRI vocalised before a flame.

The cross of initiation is given to us in the heart-temple.

Zodiacal Course, 1951

These are the four winds. Certainly, there are few people who really know the right way in which to pronounce this name. Whosoever wants to edify the new Jerusalem must first awaken the sacred fire of Kundalini. This Pentecostal serpent is INRI, AZOTH. The Sun is its father, the Moon its mother, the wind carries it in its belly and the philosophical earth is its nurse.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

These four elements form the Cross of Initiation. You must know that the Cross of Initiation is received in the Heart-Temple.

The Aquarian Message, 1960 also in Elemental Magic

The mother and her son live in the heart temple. The cross of initiation is received in the heart temple.

The Yellow Book, 1959

Quetzalcoatl is the internal God of the Aztecs. His feline paws embed the heart of the Initiate in order to devour him. The neophyte receives the cross of the Initiation within the earth (temple of sentiment). Cosmic Initiations are reached through the way of the heart, never through the way of the intellect.

Aztec Christic Magic, 1973

It is Urgent to learn to think with the heart, to deposit the mind in the Heart Temple. The Cross of Initiation is always received in the marvelous Temple of the Heart.

Esoteric Treatise of Hermetic Astrology, 1967

They are the 4 words which lead us to the Ninth Sphere, to sex, to the Forge of Cyclops, to the famous fiery forge of Vulcan, in order to raise the Sacred Serpent of our Magical Powers and carry it to the heart, thus receiving the Sacred Cross of Initiation in the Temple of the Divine Mother. The number 4 also represents the 4 physical elements and the 4 elements of the Alchemy.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The cross of initiation is received in the heart temple. The magnetic center of the Father is located between the eyebrows. The sanctuary of the Mother is located in the heart.

The Mayan Mysteries, 1977

The four points of the cross symbolize: water and earth, fire and air; spirit and matter, movement and repose. The four elements of alchemy are Salt, Sulfur, Mercury, and Azoth.

A practice

Before a lit candle, charcoals, or a bonfire, vocalize the mantra INRI, as follows: IIIIIIIINNNNNRRRRRIIIIIII Then, after vocalizing for a while the letter SSSSSSSSSS, you will be assisted by me, your servant.

The Mayan Mysteries, 1977

We receive the cross of the Initiation within the Heart Temple. We live the Golgotha within the Heart Temple. The infinite Universe is a system of hearts. Therefore, the path of sanctity is the path of the heart.

Occult Medicine and Practical Magic, 1955 (ed. 1978)

Unmarried men and unmarried women can transmute and sublimate their sexual energies with this supplication and these mantrams, taking the sexual energies to the heart. It is urgent to sublimate the sexual energies to the heart. Know that in the Heart Temple, the creative energies blend with the forces of the Christ and are elevated to the superior worlds. The Inner Christ lives in the Heart Temple. The Cross of Initiation is received in the Heart Temple. This mantric prayer is also a formula of priestly power that the Magician uses in his practices of internal meditation in order to arrive at the feet of his Divine Mother. If meditation is perfect, your adorable Mother will listen to your call and come to you. You will then be able to speak with her about the ineffable things of paradise. She is Devi Kundalini. She is the Papess of the Tarot. The Divine Mother always listens to her devotees. In the sacred land of the Vedas, the Enlightened Ramakrishna was one of the greatest devotees of the Divine Mother.

IIThe cross over the shoulders is white magic

The disciple in the white initiation carries an enormous wooden cross on the shoulders, its weight measured by his own karma, while a cross held over the head is the sign of the black lodge. The rough cross is delivered in the first initiation of Lesser Mysteries, and Jesus is shown carrying it in the parade of the great mysteries.

“Thus, having again reached the bottom of the temple, I am lead towards the center of the temple. Then, an official places a great cross over my head while I kneel, and three bellstrokes resound in some other part of the temple. From the east of the temple, a master with a purple tunic who carries a great Egyptian cross approaches me. He holds this cross over my head instead of the other cross, while other officials who are standing next to me say: Under the cross of immortality and eternal life, you are blessed.” Within the halls of the authentic white Gnostic Initiation, a master never wears a purple or red tunic, since these colors are only used by the hierarchies of the black lodge. In the white Initiation the disciple throws upon his shoulders an enormous and heavy cross of wood. This signifies that the disciple has already started his own Via Crucis through the nine Arcades. The weight of the cross differs very much, as this weight depends upon the karma of each person. Sometimes the disciple cannot bear the weight of his cross, then the Cyrenean has to help him. The vowels E. U. grants the disciple the power of bearing his cross when it is very heavy. Thus, the cross over the shoulders is white magic. Yet, the cross over the head is black magic.

The Revolution of Beelzebub, 1950 also in Suffering

Christ did not bear his cross over his head, but over his shoulders. The cross symbolizes matter. Hence, to bear the cross over the head signifies to resolve oneself to live under matter, under the world. This is why the black magician says: “Under the cross of immortality and eternal life, you are blessed.”

The Revolution of Beelzebub, 1950

The White Magician says: “Over the cross I am.” The cross over the head is carried by the Pontiffs on their miters. No White Magician carries the cross over his head, but over his shoulders, as was demonstrated by the Divine Redeemer. Thus, we, the Gnostics, are not under the cross, but, over the cross.

The Revolution of Beelzebub, 1950

The unique difference of the female with the male in relation to the Kundalini is that the two ganglionic canals called Ida and Pingala are inverted. The order of these canals in the male is: Ida at his right and Pingala at his left. Yet, in the female it is: Ida at her left and Pingala at her right. These two ganglionic canals resound with the note FA of Nature. Listen to me beloved reader, when you feel that you are well prepared. then ask the Masters in the Holy Gnostic Church to submit you to the rigorous ordeals. If you wish special assistance, then invoke me, Samael Aun Weor. I will guide you through the nine gates, which will give you the right to rise to the Golgotha of the High Initiation, with the rough and heavy cross which is delivered to you in the first Initiation of Lesser Mysteries. Remember good disciple that the cross weighs the weight of your own Karma. Do not allow yourself to fall, because the disciple who allows himself to fall has to suffer and fight very much in order to recuperate the loss.

The Revolution of Beelzebub, 1950 also in The Law of Polarities

The path of High Initiation is the path of Golgotha. It is a path of tears and anguish. Light your candles in the silence of the night, and in that profound silence where you keep vigil, remember your Internal God and enter into His cavern. The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in The Intimate Christ

Elchanam was the first Master of Jesus; the second was the rabbi Jehosuah Ben Perachiah; these were his preceptors in Palestine. Now Jesus victoriously carried his cross in Egypt. He had excelled his previous instructors; he had become a Buddha. From the mental body, a psychic extract is extracted, which then fuses with the InnerSelf; this is realized in the temple. In this manner, Jesus victoriously finished his Fourth Initiation of Greater Mysteries. The sexual fire burns terribly in the temple of the mind.

IIIThe Initiation is the painful drama of the Cross

Whoever walks the initiatic path lives the drama of the Cross. The Arhat receives a fourth cross, large and heavy, to crucify the mental body, and the ceremony of carrying the cross in the Lumisials is said to confirm an internal initiation in which each body is crucified.

In the solitude of those mysterious sanctuaries, the neophytes were submitted to the four initiatic trials. The tests of the fire, air, water and earth always defined the various purifications of the neophyte. These sanctuaries of mysteries were commonly found located at the foot of some volcano. The disciples fell senseless to the ground. At that time the Hierophant took the students out of their physical bodies, and in the astral body he took them to the depths of the sanctuary. He then taught them the great mysteries of life and death. The volcanic emanations of the earth produced that state of suspended animation. In the Gnostic Lumisials some disciples fall into that status of suspended animation. The ceremony of the carrying of the cross, such as you are accustomed to in the Gnostic Lumisials, serves to humbly confirm any esoteric internal Initiation. Each one of the seven bodies of man must be crucified and stigmatized. Every student of Kabbalah must familiarize oneself with the elements of the fire, air, water and earth. Man is still not the King of Nature. However, he is called to be a King and Priest after the Order of Melchizedek.

IVThese four elemental hierarchies form a cross

The four points of the cross name water and earth, fire and air, and the four elemental kingdoms set at the cardinal points. The equal-armed cross in the square at Copán is the cross of the elements, with the Being as the point at its centre, while a raised crossbar marks the cross of sacrifice.

What science rejects today, it accepts tomorrow. Today those who laugh at Paracelsus and the Eskimos because of the elementals, gnomes, pygmies, salamanders, genies, undines, sylphs etc., will have to laugh at themselves and become red with embarrassment when these creatures are rediscovered by science. Who would have believed only five years ago in the glass snake? Now, in 1961 a famous scientist, one of those who previously described himself as incredulous, has just discovered the famous glass snake. This snake has the power to drop its tail at will in cases of danger, easily being able to regenerate it afterwards. When the glass snake finds itself in danger, attacked by some animal, it coils up, becomes rigid and throws itself over the animal. It then instantly abandons its tail and it head escapes in a flash. The animal is distracted by the tail while the snake saves itself. Later a new tail grows from the head. Thus it; Nature has many marvels, and it is necessary to learn how to respect all religions, because they are but forms of a single universal religion. Tremendous truths and cosmic sciences are contained in every religion, unknown to the erudite ignoramuses of this barbaric age. All those who want to profoundly self-realize must work in their laboratory with the Sulphur (Fire), the Nitrogen (Air), the Man (Water) and the Bull (Earth). These four elements form a cross. The alchemist who follows the Path of the Perfect Matrimony must transmute the lead into gold within the profound caverns of the great mountain range (the spinal column).

Part Four — Each one of you must carry his cross

8 passages

IEach one has to take on the weight of his own cross

Initiation is one's own life, and each one carries the weight of a personal cross and passes through the death of the cross. Those who take up the heavy cross of initiation are told to expect hatred from spiritualists, and the man who walks the roads of the world with the cross on his shoulders is named Quetzalcoatl.

There is a need to pass through the death of the cross in order to be able to resurrect among the living dead. You, my brothers, are the living dead, because you have not yet formed the Christ within you. When you resurrect among the living dead you will ascend to the Father and then you will receive the Holy Spirit, who will give you the gifts of the Christ.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

Each one of you must carry his cross. Each one of you must die in order to live, must lose everything in order to gain everything. You will die to the world but you will live for the Father. Life feeds itself with death; there is a need for the earthly man to die in order for the Celestial Man to be glorified. It is necessary to persevere with prayer. It is necessary to persevere with the division of the bread and the wine. All prayer should end with the bread and wine. Sexual Magic, prayer and the division of the bread and the wine will keep forming the Christ within you. It is necessary to be humble in order to attain wisdom, and after attaining wisdom it is necessary to be more humble still.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in Suffering, The Intimate Christ

My brothers, I will work for you until you form the Christ within yourself. You will be persecuted, hated and imprisoned for the Word just as they have persecuted the prophets before you. Initiation is your own life and each one has to take on the weight of his own cross. You will have to pass through death, the death of the cross. You must be born as Prince Messiahs, like the God Child of Bethlehem in the supersensible worlds, for God and for the Father. Brothers, remember that each one of you is in essence a star, but you can only return to the Father when the Child of Bethlehem has been born within you.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in Christmas, The Intimate Christ, The Three Factors

Those who resolve to cast on their shoulders the heavy cross of Initiation, will find themselves persecuted and even hated by the spiritualist brothers themselves, who live daily, talking about initiation. The spiritualist brothers who hate chastity, despise it because they are wolves dressed in sheepskin. They defend their beloved fornication with the most refined philosophies. When one talks to them about sexual magic, they immediately reject it because for them there is nothing more dear than fornication. If you, my brother, want to cast the heavy cross of initiation on your shoulders, do not let yourself be obstructed by the theories of those strayed souls. All those tenebrous beings crucified Christ.

Quetzalcoatl is gone, but he must live in our hearts, he must be born in each one of us. Yes, he is gone! He left like the souls of the defunct in ancient Egypt navigating on the bark of Ra heading for the ineffable sun. Quetzalcoatl is gone, but we must call him with all our hearts, we must invoke him, and we must eliminate from ourselves those defects that we carry within that separate us from our Lord Quetzalcoatl.

IITake up his cross daily, and follow me

The Gospel command to deny oneself and take up the cross is glossed line by line: denying oneself is dissolving the I, and taking up the cross daily is the practice of sexual magic. Taking up the cross, which is phallic, means the sexual crossing that leads to the Second Birth.

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself (let him dissolve the ‘I’), and take up his cross daily, and follow me... For whosoever will save his soul (the egocentric person) shall lose it; but whosoever will lose his soul for my sake (the one who wants to die within himself), the same shall save it.

Whosoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Runic Magic, 1969

To take up the heavy Cross of the Master upon our shoulders is something very significant. The vertical pole of this sacred symbol is masculine, and the horizontal pole is feminine. The clue of the Second Birth is found in the sexual crossing of these two poles.

<< Now it happened that as he was praying alone the disciples were with him; and he asked them, "Who do the people say that I am?" And they answered, "John the Baptist (Ioannes, Ra or the Lamb of God); but others say, Eli'jah; and others, that one of the old prophets has risen." And he said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" And Peter answered, "The Christ of God." But he charged and commanded them to tell this to no one saying, "The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised." And he said to all, "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself (dissolve the Ego) and take up his cross daily (practice Sexual Magic) and follow me (sacrifice for Humanity). For whoever would save his life (the selfish person who never sacrifices himself for his fellow men) will lose it; and whoever loses his life (the altruist that mounts the altar of the supreme sacrifice for Humanity) for my sake, he will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God." >>

IVThe Golgotha of the Father is the brain

Golgotha names the summit of initiation, the brain, the Golgotha of the Father, to which the igneous serpent is raised in the Perfect Matrimony. All the vehicles of the initiate are crucified there, and the seven words of Golgotha are spoken when the Spirit is delivered.

The Seventh Serpent of light absolutely christifies the Inner-Self; we then say, “Father, in thy hands I commend my Spirit;” that is the seventh word. We are then the ineffable, powerful and divine Christ; these are the seven terribly divine Golgothas. One reaches these heights by loving the woman, by adoring her.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in The Intimate Christ

When we reach the ninth hour and are crucified upon the Cross of Golgotha, we exclaim with a great voice “FATHER, INTO THY HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT” (Luke 23:46) This supreme instant of the ninth hour occurs with terrible lightning, words, voices and thunder. The seven thunders utter the voices of the Eternal One.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

He exclaims: “Father, into thy hands I commend my Spirit.” (Luke 23: 46) CHAPTER 15 THE SEALED BOOK We, the brethren of the Temple, have suffered greatly in this night for the sake of this poor humanity which we greatly adore. The sky of this night is dressed with black, stormy clouds.

The Aquarian Message, 1960 also in The Intimate Christ

Initiation always begins with the miracle of Canaan, transmuting the Water of Life into the Wine of Light of the Alchemists. This miracle is realised in the Perfect Matrimony. We have to raise the Igneous Serpent of our Magical Powers up to the Golgotha of the Father (the cerebrum).

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

Disgraceful are the ones who instead of rising towards the Golgotha of the Father and descending into the Holy Sepulchre, will be fulminated by the terrible lighting of the Cosmic Justice. They will lose their Flaming Sword and will descend into the kingdom of Pluto throughout the black path.

IIt is here and now that the Lord must be crucified

The Christ would have been crucified uselessly if he is not crucified in each person; the Lord lives the whole Cosmic Drama within, here and now. The Innermost is carried crucified in the heart, mystics place the crucifixion in the liver, and the sacrifice by which Christ overcame entropy has to be repeated in everyone.

When a man assimilates the Christ substance physically, psychically and spiritually, he is crucified; he is transformed into Christ, he is converted into a Living Christ. We need to form Christ within us; it is urgent to incarnate the Truth. Among the Chinese, Christ is Fu-Ji. The Chinese Christ is miraculously born by the work and grace of the Holy Spirit. “Walking by the river bank, a virgin named Hoa-Se, placed her foot on the footprint of the Great Man. Immediately, she was moved seeing herself surrounded by a marvelous glow, and her womb conceived. Twelve years went by and on the fourth day of the tenth moon at midnight, Fu-Ji was born, thus named in memory of the river on whose bank he was conceived.”

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

We need to become abodes of the Lord by lighting our seven-armed candlestick. Christ is born in our heart as a child of Bethlehem; that is the child God. The Christ would have been born uselessly in Bethlehem if he is not born in our hearts also. Uselessly would he have been crucified, died and resurrected on the third day among the dead, if he is not crucified, died and resurrected in each of us. The I Am is born in us as a small child and has to grow slowly, because nature does not make any leaps.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in Christmas, The Intimate Christ

Doctors call the liver “the organ of the five.” The Kabbalists know that the five is the number of Geburah, rigor, the Law. Many mystics state that Christ is crucified in the liver. There is no doubt that the liver is the seat of appetites and desires. From that point of view, we can really state that we have Christ crucified in the liver.

Endocrinology & Criminology, 1957 also in Desire and Will

The Innermost is the true Man who lives incarnated within any human body and who all of us carry crucified within our heart. When the human being awakens from his dream of ignorance he delivers himself to his Innermost, who then becomes united with Christ. This is how the human being becomes almighty like the Absolute from where he has emanated. The Innermost is God within the human being. Whosoever ignores this great truth is only a shadow, the shadow of his Innermost.

IIWe have to die with the death of the cross

Death on the cross is the death of the I, which did not come from Heaven and cannot return there. Human affections, attachments and carnal passion must be crucified, and that death, called a wholly sexual symbol, is the condition of resurrection.

"And no man has ascended into Heaven, but he that descended from Heaven. The Son of Man who is in Heaven." (John 3:13) This 13th verse means death. This is the 13th Arcana: death. The human I must die. It did not come from Heaven. It cannot go to Heaven. It must die crucified. Only the Son of Man goes to Heaven, because he came down from Heaven.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

62. The ascension of the Lord is performed after our crucifixion, death, and resurrection. 63. “Seb is stablished through their rudders.”

Treatise of Sexual Alchemy, 1954 also in The Intimate Christ

4. We have to die with death at the Cross, to resurrect from among the living dead. 5. Life feeds itself from death.

Christ Will, 1959

52. The Human personalities are leaves pulled by the Great Wind, vain shadows. It is necessary to crucify the Human affections and die to live terrifyingly.

Christ Will, 1959

We have to put an end to the process of the human I in order for the Being to be born. Let us not commit the error of dividing ourselves into a Superior I and an Inferior I. That which spiritualist students call the superior I, is not the Being, but rather a refined form of the human I, a subtle modality of self-defense that the human I uses to sustain itself and remain. It is a refined concept of Satan, a subtle escape that the human I uses. We have to die in order to live. We have to lose it all in order to win it all. We have to die with the death of the cross in order to have the right to live. The Being, full of glory and power, is born on top of the cadaver of the human I. The man-I wants to show off everywhere, he wants everyone to applaud and admire him; he lets his hair and beard grow, he wears strange clothes to appear publicly on the streets, in order for the gullible to call him Master, elder brother, etc.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in Psychological Death, The Three Factors, Vanity

When the priest spills the sacred wine of the altar, the blessed Mother Goddess of the world conceals her face with her veil and cries bitterly. The Beloved One then crucifies himself upon his cross and the whole of nature trembles with terror.

The Aquarian Message, 1960 also in Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted

We need to crucify all the human attachments, abandon all that which signifies carnal passion. This is extremely difficult. The past screams, clamors, cries, beg... This is terribly painful.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed (symbol of the spine), and gave it to him to drink (like saying: the work with the spinal sexual Fires is more bitter than gall). But the others said, "Wait, let us see whether Eli'jah will come to save him.'' And Jesus cried again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. (In this way we, the Initiates, die in ourselves with Death on the Cross). (See my book entitled "The Mystery of the Golden Blossom'').

IIIThe mind must be crucified and stigmatized in the initiation

Each body has its own crucifixion: the etheric body in the second initiation, the astral body living the whole Passion in the third, the mind on the sacrificial altar in the fourth. The Globe of the Imperator of the Mind bears the sign of the cross, and the Master measures himself crucified at the centre of the cubic stone.

73. The mind of the authentic Apostle is crucified.

Igneous Rose, 1954

16. Your mind hangs from a beams! It is Christified! And it is now unfastened from the Cross in order to celebrate the feast.

Igneous Rose, 1954

“All of you shall be Gods if you come out of Egypt and cross the Red Sea.” When man christifies his etheric body, he enters Eden and he becomes an inhabitant of Eden. The christified etheric body is the wedding garment of the soul, the golden body. The second serpent opens for us the powers of the etheric body, and confers upon us the power to travel in the etheric body. The woman achieves all of this by restraining the sexual impulse and avoiding the spilling of the semen. The man achieves all of this by knowing how to withdraw on time and avoiding seminal ejaculation. This is how the Kundalini develops, evolves and progresses within the aura of the Solar Logos. The etheric body of Jesus was crucified and he received his five stigmatas. In each great initiation we have to live the entire drama of Calvary. The etheric body of Jesus became a Christ. The seven churches of the etheric body of Jesus shone full of glory.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956

The mental body is the donkey that we should ride in order to victoriously enter the celestial Jerusalem (superior worlds). There we are received with palm leaves, praises and celebration. The mental body is a material, dense body. The four bodies of sin, the physical, etheric, astral and mental bodies, are material bodies. The mind is the most rebellious animal that we have within, and we have to crucify that mind on the sacrificial altar. The mind is the den of desire and wickedness.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in Desire and Will, Entropy and Sacrifice, The Mind

The ascent of the second Serpent through the medullar channel of the etheric body is very difficult. When the second Serpent reaches the magnetic field at the root of the nose, the initiate enters the temple to receive the second Initiation of Major Mysteries. It is good to note that the human personality does not enter the temple. It remains at the door putting its affairs in order with the Lords of Karma. Within the temple, the Intimus together with the etheric body is crucified. That is to say; the Intimus is clothed in the etheric body for the Crucifixion. This is how the etheric body is Christified. In the second initiation the Soma Puchicon is born, the Wedding Garment of the Soul, the body of gold. This vehicle is formed of the two superior ethers. The etheric body has four ethers, two superior and two inferior. With the Wedding Garment of the Soul we can enter all the regions of the Kingdom.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

When the third Serpent reaches the heart a most beautiful child, the Christ Astral is born. The result of all this is initiation. In the astral body, the neophyte has to go through the entire drama of the Passion of Christ. He has to be crucified, die, be buried. He has to resurrect and must also descend to the abyss and remain there for forty days before the Ascension.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

Whoever reaches the fourth initiation receives the Globe of the Imperator of the Mind. The sign of the cross shines upon this globe.

The moment when the Fire of Kundalini reached the level of the cerebellum was extraordinary. Then my mental body went through the symbolic Crucifixion of the Lord. The Three Mountains, 1972 also in The Intimate Christ

This of the seven minds is also related to the number seven. We know it well that the Cubic Stone has seven aspects, and that the four cardinal points are in the Cubic Stone. The part facing upward would be the fifth cardinal point, the one facing down would be the sixth point, and in the center is the seventh. Thus, in the center of the Cubic Stone of Yesod, in the center of the Philosopher’s Cubic Stone, a Master has to measure himself, for he is crucified; to measure himself in relation to the Stone, to understand what is his degree of Intimate Self-Realization.

IVThe body of Will has been crucified in its wood

VIt is the crown of thorns of the Master

Willpower, the force of sacrifice, is what the crown of thorns symbolises, and the face on the holy cloth is the Christic will. The human will must put the crown on its own temples; the pineal chakra is linked to the thorns that make the christified bleed, and a Mayan stone head crowned with thorns is read the same way.

29. Willpower’s strength is symbolized by the crown of thorns of the Nazarene Christ. 30. It is necessary to strike the hard flint strongly in order to make the spark of immortality jump.

Igneous Rose, 1954

31. Willpower’s strength is the tremendous force of sacrifice... It is the crown of thorns of the Master.

43. The sacred cloth, the divine face, with his crown of thorns, symbolises the Christic will. 44. The holy shroud or holy cloth where the face of the CHRIST remained imprinted precisely symbolised the Christic Will.

Christ Will, 1959

51. The Human Will must put on its temples the crown of thorns.

Christ Will, 1959

57. The Christic Will is the Sun, the Cosmic Christ, the Martyr of the Calvary in us, the Divine face imprinted on the holy cloth.

Christ Will, 1959 also in The Intimate Christ

Men place their will at the service of the beast and that is why they fail. The divine Master said, “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” Thanks to his priestess, the divine Master was able to raise his fifth serpent upon the rod. The initiate enters the temple when he awakens his fifth serpent. The altar is then adorned with Veronica’s sacred shawl. The divine face with the crown of thorns is the living symbol of the Christ-Will, which is total sacrifice in favor of poor suffering humanity, In the world of the will, all the initiates carry their cross.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in Desire and Will, Tiphereth

The Christ-Will only knows how to obey superior orders; it respects the free will of others; it does not exercise coercion over others, not even in ‘play, because that is black magic. In the world of the will, the soul crucifies itself in order to save humanity. The ascent of the fifth serpent through the spinal column of the Soul-Will is very slow and difficult. When the fifth serpent reached the fifth holy center of the heart, the Buddha Jesus of Nazareth entered a sacred precinct. A great Egyptian initiate said, “Many fight over the Master.” Truly, my brothers, all sects, religions and schools fight over him a great deal.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in Desire and Will, Tiphereth

The intuitive sight resides in this chakra, the eye of the Spirit. This splendorous and divine chakra is associated with the crown of thorns that pierces the temples of all the Christified Ones and causes them to bleed.

This chiseled stone figure is very strange. Where else can we find such strange representations? We see a human head crowned with thorns, similar to the crown of thorns of the Master Jesus of Nazareth. This is a clear allusion to willpower.

VIThe three Nails signify the three purifications

The nails of the cross stand for the three purifications by fire and iron that come before resurrection, and the fidelity of the initiate is proved at the cross of lingam and yoni. The five stigmata form a holy cross in the astral body, as vortices of force in the christified etheric man.

The astral body of a christified person is a beauty to behold: the wound at the side is deep and profound, and his stigmata in the hands and feet, the places of flagellation, and crown of thorns, give the astral body that divine beauty of the martyr of Golgotha. The kundalini fire has to climb through 33 tubes related to 33 sacred chambers of the astral world.

Secret Notes of a Guru, 1952

The second Serpent pertains to the vital body, the third to the astral, the fourth to the mental, and the fifth to the causal. The sixth and seventh Serpents are of the Conscious Soul and of the Divine Spirit. To each of the Seven Serpents there corresponds an Initiation of the Major Mysteries. There are Seven Serpents. Two groups of three, with the sublime coronation of the Seventh Tongue of Fire that unites us with the One, with the Law, with the Father. We must open the Seven Churches on each plane of cosmic consciousness. During the initiation the devotee should receive the stigmata of the Christ. Each one of his internal vehicles should be crucified and stiginatised. The stigmata are given to man according to his merits. Each stigmata has its esoteric trials. The first stigmata received are those of the hands, and the trials in order to receive them are very painful. Precious stones also play a very important role in the initiation: “And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, Sardis; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a hyacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.”

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966)

The three Great Purifications are symbolised by the three Nails of the Cross. Above the Cross is the word INRI (Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra).

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Words He Uses

The fire incessantly renews nature. The three Nails signify the three purifications by the fire and by the iron. After the three purifications based in fire and iron one achieves the Resurrection of the Dead. The Three Days are three periods of labour in which the Son of Man must realise the Great Work.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Intimate Christ

Bear in mind that it is with the Cross that the undesirable elements have been eliminated. The fidelity to the Father is demonstrated with the Cross; there are many who say, I am faithful to the Father, to the Mother, to the Son of Man, but when the hour of testing comes, in the moment of truth, they fail with the Cross. Where is the Cross? This is the Cross of the Lingam-Yoni; it is here that they fornicate, adulterate, commit their evil deeds. Thus the undesirable elements must be disintegrated in order to seek the death of the earthly man.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in Lust and Chastity

The Three Mountains, 1972

Unquestionably the five Christic stigmata in the astral body form a Holy Cross... The Resurrection is not possible without having previously formed the stigmata of the Adorable in the astral body...

The Three Mountains, 1972 also in The Intimate Christ

Much has been said about the chakras of the hands, of the feet, about that wound made by Longinus’s spear into the side of the Lord, about the crown of thorns, etc. Those are the stigmata. For Gautama, the Buddha, these stigmata appear on his hands and on his feet. They are vortices of magnetic forces established in the vital body. They develop completely when the two ethers detach from the two inferior ones, and those two ethers, organized in the shape of the Celestial Man, integrated with the Essence enriched by the virtues of the soul, form the Etheric Man, the Christified Man of the Fifth Round.

VIIThe three traitors who crucify the Christ

Desire, mind and ill-will, the three traitors Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas, crucify the Lord in the depths of the soul. The account of the crucifixion in Matthew is then read with glosses: the crown is the diadem of the christified astral body, the cross is the sexual cross, and to come down from it is to abandon the Sahaja Maithuna.

The Demon of Desire, the Demon of the Mind, and the Demon of Ill-will are the Three Furies of which classical mythology speaks. They are the three assassins of Hiram Abiff; the three traitors who crucify the Christ: Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas; the three traitors which Dante found in the Ninth Circle: Judas, Brutus and Cassius.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Three Traitors

Every Initiate has to live the Cosmic Drama of the Crucifixion in him self. The Three Traitors crucify him, they deliver him. Judas, the Demon of Desire sells him for 30 pieces of silver, hands him over for women, pleasures, diversions. Pilate, the Demon of the Mind always washes his hands, finds a justification for all of his errors. Caiaphas, the Demon of Ill-will always wants to have his own way, abhors the Will of the Father. The Initiate has to live the Cosmic Drama in a complete, integral and total form.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Intimate Christ, The Three Traitors

<<Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the praetorium, and they gathered the whole battalion before him. And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe upon him (the Philosophical Stone is first black, then white and finally red), and plaiting a crown of thorns they put it on his head (the traditional painful diadem on every Christified astral body), and put a reed in his right hand (like the Wand of Aaron or the Rod of the Patriarchs, living symbol of the spine). And kneeling before him they mocked him saying, "Hail, King of the Jews !'' And they spat upon him, and took the reed and struck him on the head. And when they had mocked him (because such is this path of the sex), they stripped him of the robe (because they, the sinister ones, never want the Initiate to dress in the purple of his Intimate Logoi), and put his own clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.

The Three Mountains, 1972 also in The Intimate Christ

As they were marching out, they came upon a man of Cyre'ne, Simon by name; this man they compelled to carry his cross (the Guru always appears on the way to help us). And when they came to a place called Golgotha, which means "the place of a skull'', (synonym of death), they offered him wine to drink, mingled with gall; but when he tasted it, he would not drink it (it is evident that the Path of the Razor's Edge is very bitter). And when they had crucified him (with Sexual Cross because the phallus inserted into the uterus forms such a sacred sign), they divided his garments among them by casting lots (clear reference to the elimination of human possessions); then they sat down and kept watch over him there. And over his head they put the charge against him, which read, "This is Jesus the King of the Jews.''(INRI, Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram, Fire Renews Nature Unceasingly).

The Three Mountains, 1972 also in The Intimate Christ

Then two robbers were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left (Good Thief: the divine secret power that steals the sexual energy for christification. Bad Thief: the secret enemy who with evil purposes steals the deposit of Sexual Hydrogen Si-12). And those who passed by (the usual profaners and desecraters) derided him, wagging their heads and saying, "You who would destroy the temple and build it in three days (you, who annihilate the Adam of sin so that the celestial Adam is born); save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.'' (Because the sinister ones do not like the insertion of the cross' beam that form your two arms, like two huge hands, that extend to scare away the sinister forces and the inferior powers).

The Three Mountains, 1972 also in The Intimate Christ

So also the chief priests (the authorities), with the scribes (or intellectuals) and the pharisees (that always pretend to be virtuous and holy) and the elders (very respectable people of the world), mocked him, saying, "He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross (if he abandons the Path of the Razor's Edge and the Sahaja-Maithuna), and we will believe in him. He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him; for he said, 'I am the Son of God.' '' (He Christified himself, and therefore became Son of the Eternal. We are sons of the devil, because we are the fruits of fornication). And the robbers who were crucified with him also reviled him in the same way.

VIIIThe Christ-Sun crucifies Himself on planet Earth to give life

The Solar Logos is crucified at the dawn of every world so that all beings may have life, and at the spring equinox the Christ-Sun crucifies himself on the Earth. The star crucified on the cross is the Christ of Abraxas, the incarnated Verb that the Venustic Initiation brings into the human being.

Before Jesus, many Buddhas received the Crown of Life and they died, crucified. After Jesus, a few of us have received it and many will receive it in the future. The Spirit of Wisdom always lives crucify itself in matter in order to save the world.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in The Intimate Christ

It is urgent to know that the Star crucified upon the Cross, is the CHRIST of the ABRAXAS.

The Aquarian Message, 1960 also in The Intimate Christ

The Cosmic Christ is the army of the Great Word. He is always born in all the worlds and is crucified in each of them in order that all beings might have life and have it more abundantly.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Solar Logos

Time passes... the days become cruelly longer, and the spring equinox arrives. This is Holy Week, the moment of crossing from one extreme to another, the moment of the Lord’s crucifixion in this world. The Christ-Sun crucifies Himself on planet Earth to give life to all that exists. After His death, He resurrects in all creation, ripening the grapes and the grain. The law of the Logos is sacrifice.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in Entropy and Sacrifice, The Intimate Christ, The Solar Logos

It is necessary that the secret master be born in us. It is necessary to die; the ego must die. It is necessary to sacrifice ourselves for humanity: that is the Law of the Solar Logos, who sacrifices himself, crucifying himself in the worlds, so that all beings may have life and have it in abundance.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in Entropy and Sacrifice, The Intimate Christ, The Solar Logos, The Three Factors

The law of the Solar Logos is sacrifice for humanity. He sacrifices himself from the dawn of life, crucifying himself in all worlds, on each new planet, which comes into existence, so that all beings may have life and have it in abundance. Rare is he who receives the Venustic Initiation; it is a very special grace. One must previously have sacrificed oneself for humanity.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in Entropy and Sacrifice, The Intimate Christ, The Solar Logos, The Three Factors

In the worlds which surge into existence, the Christ unfolds, is crucified, dies, and resurrects in the depths of everything created so that all creatures may have life and have it abundantly.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ

The star which guides us internally is the Father Star. The important thing for us is to incarnate that Father Star. Here we have the mystery of Arcanum 17. The Essence contained in the vessels of Gold and Silver, when wisely combined and transmuted, enables us to achieve the incarnation of the Star. The Star crucified upon the Cross is the Christ.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

Some kabalists expect that the world of Tiphereth, the world of the Human Soul, or correctly said, the world of the Son of Man, is governed by the Sun. It really is not so, because it is governed by Venus; for this reason the Christ is crucified on Good Friday; and this is something upon which we will need to meditate.

IThe Swastika is the Cross in movement

The magical cross of the Jinas is identified with the Swastika of the great mysteries, set first among the sacred symbols of every ancient people and called sexual transmutation in action. It is also IO, the cross inside the circle, and the swastika in the waters of life that marks the Muladhara chakra.

In the waters of life is the swastika cross symbolising the Muladhara chakra of four petals.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

It is not difficult to comprehend that such a magical cross is the same Swastika of the great Mysteries...

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

The pure souls in the state of perfect beatitude can experience in a direct way the intimate existing relationship between the Swastika and the Hinayana path.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

H. P. B., the great martyr of the nineteen century was right when telling us that the Swastika of Fusaiolas is the most sacred and mystical symbol: Such an ineffable sign actually glows over the head of the great serpent of Vishnu, the Shesta-Ananta of one thousand heads, whose habitat resides in Patala or the inferior region.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

While advancing with the cross on our shoulders towards the Mount of the Skulls, we come to evidence that all the nations of ancient times always put the Swastika at the head of their sacred symbols.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

It is obvious that the exotic Hindustani sex-yoga with all of its oriental perfumes, the mysterious eroticism of Kama-Kalpa, the Sahaja Maithuna with its sexual positions ardent as the fire, are sealed with the Swastika Cross.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

The vertical beam of the Holy Cross is masculine, virile, powerful. The horizontal beam is delectably feminine. The clue of all powers is found in the crossing of these two eternal rods.

IIThe mysteries of the Cross, of the Swastika

Runic Magic calls the swastika the hammer of Thor, the electric mill of physics and the cross in movement, holding all the mysteries of lingam and yoni. Without it there is no Second Birth; traced with three fingers it drives off the dark powers, and no one reaches self-realisation without the sexual crossing of husband and wife.

The Swastika of Fusaiolas is a profoundly significant esoteric symbol.

Runic Magic, 1969

If we study this matter in depth, then we come to evidence that all of the ancient populace always put the Swastika at the head of their religious emblems. We also find Thor’s hammer, which is the magical weapon forged by the pygmies against the giants, or precosmic Titanic forces, who were in opposition to the Law of Universal Harmony. The sacred Swastika is then the hammer that produces the tempests which the Ases or heavenly Lords use. It’s rectangular, elbowed arms in the Macrocosms, clearly express without the least bit of doubt the incessant evolutions and devolutions of the seven cosmoses.

Runic Magic, 1969

The Swastika in the Microcosms, represents the human being with his right arm aiming towards heaven and the left arm aiming towards the earth.

Runic Magic, 1969

Without any doubt, the Swastika is the electrical windmill of physicists. All of the mysteries of the Lingam-Yoni are enclosed within it.

Runic Magic, 1969

The Swastika in itself is the Cross in movement (the Rune Gebo in movement), that is to say, Sex Yoga, Maithuna, Sexual Magic.

Runic Magic, 1969

Truly, this matter about being born again in the Sanctum Regnum is something that belongs to the mysteries of the Cross, of the Swastika.

Thus, only in such a way, by working with the mysteries of the sacred Swastika can we arrive at the Second Birth.

IIIThe swastika in movement generates transcendent sexual electricity

The Nordic swastika holds the key of sexual transmutation and is the sign of transcendental electricity, the universal sexual force. The profane cross stops when the act ends, while in the Gnostic cross the movement goes on; the electricity it produces strengthens the Divine Mother to disintegrate the heaviest psychic elements.

The Ens Seminis is the Mercury of Secret Philosophy within which the whole EnsVirtutis of the Sacred Fire is found. The Nordic Swastika contains within itself the secret clue of the Sexual Transmutation. This is why this Rune is the Electric Mill of Physics.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

The Swastika is an Alchemical, Cosmogonical and Anthropological sign, under seven different interpretative clues. The Swastika is the symbol of Transcendental Electricity, the Alpha and the Omega of the Universal Sexual Force from the Spirit down to the Matter. Therefore, whosoever achieves to comprehend its mystic significance is free from the Great Maya or Illusion.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

Represents sex yoga, maithuna, sexual magic, sexual alchemy.

The Mayan Mysteries, 1977

The electric force is the cross in movement or the swastika; it is continuous movement. The transcendent electricity which turns like a vortex has served me to form the Gnostic Movement.

The Revolution of the Dialectic

The cross in the profane and the profaners is not a swastika because once the chemical copulation ends, the movement ends. On the other hand, in the Gnostic cross, the movement does not end because the electricity continues transmuting itself.

The Revolution of the Dialectic

In India, the degree of culture is measured according to the time that the chemical copulation is carried out; the one who lasts three hours is respected and is a “lord”. The swastika in movement generates transcendent sexual electricity.

The Revolution of the Dialectic

But there are very heavy psychic elements that correspond to the world of ninety-six laws. These can only be disintegrated with the “electric mill” of the physicists, with the “swastika” in movement, that generates a specific type of transcendental sexual electricity. Obviously, the Woman Serpent, that is, the Princess Kundalini, the Divine Cosmic Mother, is reinforced by this type of electricity and then with this electric power she can atomically disintegrate the heaviest psychic elements in which the Consciousness is bottled.

IVThe Path of the Tau leads to the final liberation

Tau means cross, the twenty-second Hebrew letter, and it is read as the generating lingam around which the bronze serpent of Moses was entwined. The serpent and the cross, the S and the T, complete each other; the Templar and Egyptian forms, the crux ansata and the ankh, are drawn into the same sexual teaching.

Remember the brazen serpent of Moses that was entwined around the TAU, or, in other words, around the generating Lingam.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

The Path of the Tau leads to the final liberation; that is the Path of the Gnostic Initiates. The Tenebrous people of the Dagdugpa Clan teach the shadow of that Path, the antithesis, fatality.

Logos, Mantram, Theurgy, 1959

Actually, this Magisterial Compendium (coat of arms) is formed by three barracks which are separated by what seems to be Templar Tau. The Tau is formed by a horizontal throne of clouds that can be climbed up by the vertical pole that forms such a Tau; in turn, the vertical pole is formed by one symbolic sword and one symbolic club which are united by five rungs or strides that are made up of a number of Princes’ crowns, mundane crowns, passionate crowns, vain crowns. The crowns must be trampled upon by the Aspirant in order to climb up to that Heavenly Throne. Above such a throne, amidst the clouds, only a hermetically sealed door can be seen. Undoubtedly, this is a Porta-Coeli (heavenly door); a mysterious hand armed with a key goes towards the door. The Key symbolizes the clue keeper of the Great Secret of the Initiation into the Mysteries of the Kingdom, which is behind that mystic door.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

The entire coat of arms is the symbol of the Sexual Tau with its horizontal pole formed by the clouds of mystery. The clouds hide the narrow path that lead to the Truth and its vertical pole is the difficult ladder that rests on the flaming sword and on the Scepter or Club, symbol of the Dominion over our passions.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

In her lap there is a half-opened book, which she partially covers with her shawl. This indicates that she is Wisdom, that she teaches the Kabbalah. Upon her chest is the Crux Ansata, the symbol of life, of the fundament, Venus, the Tao Cross. The cross upon her naked breast signifies that its product, the Milk, are the Virtues.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The key is found in the Sacred Serpent, in the cock who represents the IAO., the Verb, the word. There is the tempting serpent of Eden, the serpent of darkness which forms the horrible tail of Satan; and there is the serpent of copper which Moses entwined upon the Tau, that is to say, the Sexual Lingam; that which healed the Israelites in the desert; the dozing serpent, coiled three and a half times in the Church of Ephesus. The serpent must come out of its Church in the Muladhara Chakra and ascend through the spinal column in order to convert us into angels. If it descends towards the Atomic Infernos of Man we then become demons. Now you will understand why the serpent of the Caduceus is always double.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Kundabuffer

However, we, the Gnostics must go much further beyond; we must inquire, scrutinize, search, discover the intimate existing relationship between the serpent and the cross. The ‘S’ (Serpent) and the ‘T’ (Cross) are the esoteric symbols that profoundly complement each other.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

The sexual connection of the phallus with the uterus forms a cross. The Kundalini, the magic ‘S’, the snake, is found intimately related with that Cross or Tau.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

‘Tau’ has precisely the marvelous significance of ‘Cross’ in Hebrew. It ends as the twenty-second letter of that alphabet and with the numeric value of 400.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

On the great religious buildings of the middle ages, where a semi-circular or elliptic apse was added to the choir loft, we observe the shape of the hieratical Egyptian sign of the ansate cross; it reads Ankh and points to the occult universal life in everything. On the other hand, the hermetic likeness of the Ankh sign is the representation of Venus or Cipris-Lucifer, that is, the copper, bronze or brass.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

It is the double Serpent in Mercury's Caduceus; it is the tempting Serpent in Eden; but it is also, without the slightest doubt, the Copper Serpent of Moses, entwined in the "TAU", that is to say, in the "Generating LINGAM". It is the "Billy Goat" of the Sabbath and the Baphomet of Gnostic Templars; the HYLE of Universal Gnosticism; the double tail of snake which forms the legs of the Solar Cockerel of ABRAXAS.

The Great Rebellion, 1975

The infinity sign or Tau cross is found in the center of the two triangles. Both symbols are phallic—sexual. The soul finds itself between the two triangles, and one has to make a decision and resolve oneself to the white dragon or the black dragon. This is an absolutely sexual problem.

In the Egyptian Tarot, the Hieroglyph is a man and a woman holding in their hands the symbolic figure of the Egyptian Tau Cross. This type of Cross is phallic. Arcanum 19 is the Arcanum of the Covenant.

Esoteric Course of Kabbalah

VUnderstanding and elimination is the key to St. Andrew’s cross

The X on which Saint Andrew died denotes the annihilation of the ego in the laboratory of the Third Logos, a death that no ordinary fire achieves. Mayan belts and stones bear the same cross, read as crossing mercury and sulphur in the Ninth Sphere.

St. Andrew’s torments on the terrible “X” cross truly denote the annihilation of the much beloved ego in the laboratorium oratorium of the Third Logos. This is a dreadful as well as indispensable death that could never be accomplished with any ordinary fire.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

The problems of thesis and antithesis are resolved with the synthesis, which is the wise management of the positive and negative forces. Indeed, we have ten thousand psychic aggregates which must be turned into dust, and which are processed in seven levels. In esotericism, they are called “whales”. The Old Testament says that “Saul has slain his thousand, and David his ten thousand.” One must know how to understand this. And ten thousand are the crosses of Saint Andrew in a Mayan palace that I recently visited in Cancun.

VIAndrew and his Cross is something profoundly significant

In the Pistis Sophia commentary Andrew's cross is alchemical: with it he crystallises sulphur and mercury into the superior bodies and disintegrates the psychic aggregates. His sufferings on the sexual cross are his purification, and the twelve apostles within assign him the dissolution of the ego and sacrifice.

The form of the Cross of Saint Andrew is prominent in the crown of the “13-Woman Serpent”.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Treasury of the Light

Andrew and his Cross is something profoundly significant.

The Cross of St. Andrew on which he died crucified is alchemical.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Twelve Powers Are Within Us

Andrew and his doctrine is the struggle for the disintegration of the psychic aggregates. Andrew, with his Cross, must crystallize the Sulphur and the Mercury in the form of the existential, superior bodies of the Being.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Twelve Powers Are Within Us

Obviously, Andrew will perfect himself in the Mysteries of the Light with his Cross in an ‘X’ and with his complicated and terribly difficult work, which is to crystallize that which must be crystallized and to disintegrate that which must be disintegrated. The tortures of St. Andrew are sufficient for his purification.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Twelve Powers Are Within Us

In the Great Work, Andrew, suffering on the sexual cross, must perfect himself from the Ineffable down to the Darkness of darknesses, from the Light of lights down to the darkness of matter, from all the Gods down to the demons.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Twelve Powers Are Within Us

These three factors are: To be born, to die, and to sacrifice the self for humanity. The Cross of Saint Andrew is accustomed to being terribly painful.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in Entropy and Sacrifice, Evolution, Involution, Revolution, The Three Factors, The Twelve Powers Are Within Us, The Words He Uses

The sufferings of the Initiate, crucified on the Cross of Andrew, are inexpressible. It is not possible to purify and perfect the Mercurial Bodies, if we renounce the disintegration of the Dry Mercury.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in Suffering, The Twelve Powers Are Within Us

So, learning to relate to those twelve apostles within us is extraordinary. Peter, for example, teaches us the mysteries of sex; Matthew teaches us pure science; Luke, his gospel is according to the Light, the Solar Gospel; Andrew shows us the path of the disintegration of the Ego in a very complete way, together with the work in the Lit Forge of Vulcan and the sacrifice for humanity – the cross of Saint Andrew is speaking clearly of all this–. John is the Verb, the Word; Thomas, what does Thomas tell us? He teaches us how to handle the minds, and especially the intellectual mind. He tells us that we must not pay attention to other people’s concepts, that we must strictly depend on our profound inner Being and nothing else. Of course, he says it to those who already have that grace, to those who can already depend on the different parts of their own Being, and it is clear that none of you can yet depend on your Being on your own.

VIIThe cross that Quetzalcoatl carries is formidable

Quetzalcoatl taught the cross as the symbol of immortality and had crosses set on altars and in homes; he carries it on his shoulders as the Martyr of Calvary did. That cross, the Tree of the Universe, is the cross of lingam and yoni, an instrument of martyrdom and of liberation, and the Nahua and Maya drew the swastika as the cross in movement.

Quetzalcoatl talked to them about Ipalnemoani (he from whom we live), about the creation of the world, about the downfall of the human being, about the deluge, about Christ and his Gospel, about the baptism, about the circumcision and about the cross (symbol of the immortality of life and of the regeneration of the human genre).

Aztec Christic Magic, 1973

Quetzalcoatl recommended that crosses be set upon the altars of the temples and in their homes. He named the countries, the mountains and the valleys.

Aztec Christic Magic, 1973

In the ineffable bliss of the Jinas paradise, a divine humanity certainly exists which is invisible to mortals' senses because of their sins and limitations, born of sexual abuse. It is written with characters of fire in the great Book of Life that in the Jaina or Jina Cross is miraculously concealed the untold secret of the Great Arcane, the marvellous key of sexual transmutation.

The Mystery of the Golden Blossom, 1971

His nahual or esoteric disguise, is Xiuhcoatl or the Serpent of Fire (Kundalini), earmarked by its precious horn on the nose, decorated with seven ineffable stars. In the Nahua and Maya beliefs, the sacred swastika of the great mysteries was always defined as the moving cross; it is the Nahua Nahui Ohm, sacred symbol of the cosmic movement.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

When we study Quetzalcoatl, we discover that in him exists the same cosmic drama of Yeshua Ben Pandira, Jesus the Christ. Quetzalcoatl carrying the cross upon his shoulders reminds us precisely of the Martyr of Calvary.

For the Few, 1980 also in The Intimate Christ

Unquestionably, the Tree of the Universe is highly symbolic. Let us remember the “Erotic Greek.” There is no doubt that the formal ectais (feminine uterus), properly connected with the vertical phallus (masculine phallus), makes a cross. The four points of the cross are: Science, Philosophy, Art, and Mysticism.

For the Few, 1980

As long as we are ignorant of the mysteries of the Aztecs, the Zapotecs, the Toltecs, etc., it will be impossible to truly achieve within ourselves the integral fusion of the spirit with the soul. The mysteries of sex are transcendental and they are in the cross. I repeat: the insertion of the vertical Lingam into the formal ectais forms a Cross. The mysteries of sex were taught by our Lord Quetzalcoatl. He was truly incarnated. He became a living man and was not merely an historical personage.

For the Few, 1980

The Cosmic Christ, the Platonic Logos, the Greek Demiurge, is a Perfect Multiple Unity. Unquestionably, Quetzalcoatl, the Christ, is I-N-R-I. Upon analysis this means: I = Ignis N = Natura R = Renovatur I = Integram: Fire renews nature incessantly. The Quetzalcoatlian fire is found in the center of every Cosmic Unity that comes forth to life. The Quetzalcoatlian fire is found in the center of every living constellation, in the center of every Planet, of every Sun. For this reason Quetzalcoatl has not perished, and will never perish. The Quetzalcoatlian fire existed before the Universe came into existence and will continue to exist throughout eternity.

For the Few, 1980 also in The Intimate Christ

Friends, the cross that Quetzalcoatl carries is formidable. That cross, that Tree of the Universe, contains the very secret of the doctrine of Quetzalcoatl. Let us think for a moment about the Vertical Lingam and the Horizontal Yoni. Unquestionably, the insertion of the vertical Phallus inside of the proper Ectais makes a cross; the cross which Quetzalcoatl carries upon his shoulders, the cross which the Great Kabir Jesus also carries bound for Calvary, the magnificent cross of all ages.

For the Few, 1980

Friends, unquestionably, if the cross is the instrument of torture and martyrdom, in truth, it is also the instrument of liberation. In the ancient times of Lemuria the key of the Ark of Science was known. At that time the men and women, who had not yet lost their Edenic innocence, met in the Mystery Temples to reproduce, but they did not reproduce like real men; they reproduced as supermen reproduce. At that time the gift of Kriya-Shakti was clearly accepted. Men and women united to create and create anew. But they never spilled the Glass of Hermes Trismegistus, the Thrice-Great Ibis God of Thoth, and as a consequence or corollary, the sacred serpent ascends through the dorsal spine of those sacred men. Those creatures had power over the fire, over the air, over the waters, and over the perfumed earth.

VIIIPeter, the Master of Maithuna, PATAR, dies crucified on an inverted cross

Peter's death head downward points to the work with the brute stone and the descent into the Ninth Sphere, where every white initiation begins. The letters of PATAR are read as the Father, the Tau that is the cross of the divine hermaphrodite, and the R of fire that is vital in INRI.

Peter died as the Lord Jesus did, but he was crucified upside down. Peter's death shows us the way of the Stone, the work with the Philosopher's Stone (sex). Jesus calls Peter “Cephas,” which is to say, “rock.” John supported his head quietly on the heart of Jesus. The Christ (Love) can be found in the Word (the Verb), which in turn is nourished by the Christ. It is this Verb, the love of the Christ, which we must incarnate through successive initiations.

The ‘T’ is the Tau, the cross, the divine Hermaphrodite, the black Lingam inserted into the Yoni. The ‘R’ is fundamental in the fire, it is the Egyptian RA. The ‘R’ is also radical in the powerful Mantra INRI: (IGNES NATURA RENOVATUR INTEGRA).

IXThe Rose of the Spirit flowers upon the cross of our body

The rose that opens on the cross of the body is the sign that the Magnum Opus has been accomplished, and with the rose at its centre the cross becomes the rosicross. For the rose to blossom one must have died within completely; on the cross of Saint Andrew the rose of the Solar Logos marks the end of the Great Work.

The essence of roses can also be mixed with these perfumes to purify the environment. It is good to remember that roses have great power. The rose is the queen of flowers. It is necessary that the rose of the Spirit opens its fragrant and delicious bud upon the cross of our body.

There, in the profound night of the centuries, in the ancient Egypt of the Pharaohs, the Great Kabir Jesus, while practicing the Maithuna with a Vestal of a pyramid, chanted the mantras INRI, ENRE, ONRO, UNRU, ANRA. IILight a fire and then vocalize the mantram INRI

These are the plain instructions for sounding INRI and its derivatives: each letter drawn out, the syllables divided, practised before a fire or each morning facing the east. The senses that each derivative develops are listed beside them.

A practice

AAAANNNN.….RRRRAAA The Master vocalized these syllables by prolonging the sound of each of the letters of the syllables IN-RI, EN-RE, ON-RO, UN-RU, AN-RA, prolonging the sound of each letter. The mantram INRI awakens the sixth sense located between the eyebrows and man can then read others’ thoughts and see all the things of the internal worlds. The mantram ENRE awakens the magical ear; man can then hear over distances of thousands of miles and can hear the voices of the internal worlds. The mantram ONRO has the power to awaken intuition located in the heart. Intuition is the seventh sense and resides in the heart and in the pineal gland. This is the voice of the silence in the heart; in the pineal gland, it is polyvision, or intuitive vision. The intuitive sees it all and knows it all. He is omniscient; he is powerful. The Mantram UNRU awakens in us the sense of telepathy and we can then perceive the thoughts of people at a distance. It is located above the navel in the solar plexus. The mantram ANRA awakens for us the pulmonary chakras, with which we can remember our past reincarnations. These senses resemble lotus flowers in the astral body.

IIIThis word INRI is a password

INRI is written in fire on the two columns of the living temple, the astral and the mental bodies, and serves as the word for passing between them. In meditation the disciple listens for its essence, the sharp sound of the cricket, a prolonged S.

A practice

Discard your four bodies of sin from within yourself when you arrive at this stage of your meditation and pass through the two columns (white and black) of the temple, (which is your living body) upon which are written (with characters of fire) the ‘password’ INRI.

Return into your body so that you may keep working on your meditation and concentrate again on the astral body, the black column of your living temple. Try to hear the sharp sound of the cricket (of which we talked about in chapter four). This sharp sound is the essence of the lost word INRI. Thus, without missing a moment of listening to this sharp sound, (that is now emerging from within the cells of your brain) concentrate on the white column, your mental body.

This ritual must be practiced in the following way: Bless the ‘Bejuco de Cadena’ and command its elemental to enclose the perverse entity. Then, cut two lianas (Bejucos) and put them on the floor forming a cross and trace a circle on the floor around the cross in order to form our famous Gnostic circle, which is the cross within the circle of eternity.

✦ ✦ ✦

How this was made. All fifty-two books were extracted (73,105 paragraphs, 2,157,671 words) and swept on his words for it: I.N.R.I. and Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra; the cross as a noun (with the verb taken out); the crucifixion, Calvary, Golgotha, the Way of the Cross, the nails and the crown of thorns; the vertical and the horizontal, the lingam and the yoni beside the cross; and the swastika, the tau, the ankh, the cross of Saint Andrew and the rose on the cross. The paragraph either side of every core paragraph was taken too. That returned 888 candidate paragraphs in 44 books. Every candidate was read twice, by independent readers working from a written brief. The two passes agreed on whether to print 94.5% of the time and on the class 91.1%, and a third reader, who saw neither verdict, settled the 49 disagreements. 442 were judged printable. 37 of them were set aside as the same teaching, kept where it stands in another of his books, and 23 were joined into the passage before them, where his sentence ran across several short paragraphs, so 382 passages are printed here. The rest are recorded with the reason each was set aside.

What was set aside. 71 were greetings, dates, editors’ notes or narrative, 17 were false friends (to cross a river, a planet that crosses), 134 named the subject only in passing, 26 belonged to another built work, and 57 were neighbours on another subject. 58 more were judged and not printed, and 83 were judged the second halves of sentences begun in the paragraph before.

No sentence of his is cut in half. Each range was extended against the corpus until his sentence closed, a passage that turned out to be the second half of the one before it was absorbed into it, and 77 ranges run over more than one paragraph.

182 passages also stand in a finished work, and every one is marked where it stands, the most in The Intimate Christ (58) and The Twelve Powers Are Within Us (15). The editor ruled that this work prints in full and that shared passages print here too. An overlap is allowed wherever the teaching needs it. What is not allowed is an overlap a reader cannot see.

Checked against the source. Every passage was proved word for word against the raw extraction of its own book, and the printed text against the paragraphs it joins, with no failures. Nine words broken by the scan (“re mains”, “Reno vatur” and others) are printed whole.

A work of The Christ, the sixth after The Intimate Christ, The Solar Logos, Christ Mind, The Holy Grail and Christmas. It takes the cross and the four letters over it. It wears the Christ family’s lilac mist and the themed works’ two hairlines, in the madder of the rose that flowers on the cross.
