This is the first card of the Tarot. “In Arcanum 1 we enter the Sanctum Regnum of magic”, he says, and the booklet follows his
own order: the card first, figure by figure; then the number one, which begins everything, for
“Every beginning is difficult.”
Most of what he teaches on this card is the sign above the Magician’s head, the Holy Eight:
“The Holy Eight has been, is, and will be, the key of all.” Two parts gather it, in the body and in the heart of the Earth.
Then the Magician himself. “This Arcanum, the Magician, represents man.” and “Whoever wants to be a Magician must be an Alchemist and a Kabalist.” The last part
is the practice he gives with the card, and its price: “Everything in life has its price; nothing is given to us as a gift.”

IAbove the head one sees the Holy Eight
The upper part of the card shows the eyes of the Father, read as the Holy Eight, above a Magician standing in right profile with the serpent at his brow. His two hands teach that one must descend to the Ninth Sphere before one can ascend.
The eyes in the upper part represent the eyes of the Father, signifying internally the infinite, the Holy Eight, the Caduceus of Mercury, the eight Kabirs who direct the planet. The Magician is shown in right-side profile, meaning that for the manifested, the right side is all. The Serpent protrudes from his brow, indicating that he is arisen, that he is a Self-Realised Master. The Staff of Power, which symbolises the spinal column is in the left hand which points toward the infinite, whilst the right points toward the earth, indicating that he dominates it with science, that one must ascend from below, that one cannot ascend without first descending. One needs to descend to the Ninth Sphere, which has two representations. The first is sex, the Cubical Stone; the second is the nine circles, the Atomic Infernos into which the Initiate has to descend; meaning to descend in order to ascend.

The card
The painted card of the Mystery of the Fire card set, with his own description from passages 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 set beside each figure; every label is his.
In Arcanum 1 we enter the Sanctum Regnum of magic; above the head one sees the Holy Eight represented by two eyes it is the symbol of the infinite, representing the eight Kabirs, the symbol of life and of death.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978
This Arcanum is represented by the Magician. Above the head of the Magician appears the Holy Eight, sacred symbol of the infinite. This sign contains, completes, and links the magnetic currents of the higher mind (consciousness in the dream state) with those of the lower mind (consciousness in the waking state). This sign joins or separates all of the elementals ruled by means of atomic energy; if one traces it upon the surface of the cardiac plexus with the thumb, middle, and index fingers.

IIOrder the disordered elements upon the table
Beside the Magician stands a table of the four elements, its objects in disorder, with the Ibis, Phoenix and swan beneath it. At the foot of the card lies the Cubical Stone of Jesod in the Waters of Life, which he names as the work to be done with sex.
Upon his garment is a triangle with the apex facing upwards. This represents the three primary forces reunited in Kether, the ONE (1). To one side there is a table, which represents the four elements (earth, air, fire and water), the physical plane. Upon the table one finds various elements in a state of disorder: the Sword of Power, the Lingam (male sexual organ); the Chalice, representing the physical cerebrum and on the other hand, the Yoni (female sexual organ) and a Moon which must be converted into a Sun.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in The Holy Grail
Beneath the table one finds the immortal Ibis, the Phoenix bird, the Kala Hansa Swan, the Holy Spirit which symbolises Love. It is beneath the table, indicating that it is by means of the Sacred Fire of the Third Logos that we have to order the disordered elements upon the table.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978
In the lower part of the card, in the Waters of Life, we find the Cubical Stone. The already worked Philosophical Stone indicates that this is the Work which we must realise. This is the Cubical Stone of Jesod, the sex, Stumbling Block and Rock of Scandal. ESOTERIC MEANING OF THE ARCANUM One can divide the esoteric study of the Tarot into two parts; the esoteric and the mathematic. The first consists of 22 Arcana; after this begin the advances via mathematics.

IThat which initiates, which begins
Arcanum 1 is that which initiates: Unity, the Monad of each living creature, the origin of every beginning. Every beginning is difficult, and one sows in order to reap.
Arcanum number 1 is the Magician, that which initiates, which begins; the 1. It is Unity, the Divine Spirit of each person, the Monad or Immortal Spark of each human being, of each living creature. The One is the mother of all unities. The One unfolds to become that which is the fol lowing Arcanum, the Priestess.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in The Being Is the Being
Arcanum number 1 is the Magician of the Kabalah; is obviously the beginning. Anything which is initiated in practical life is Arcanum number 1. It is Unity.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978
It is not difficult to appreciate that every beginning is difficult; one has to work hard, one must sow in order to be able to reap. For this reason in Arcanum number 1 is the Unity of the original Beginning; Origin, it is clear, of all Unity, because everything begins with the number 1.

IIThe Monad is the root of Duality
Here the 1 is the Father who is in secret, from whom the Divine Mother unfolds, so that Unity is the root of the Binary and the synthesis of the Ternary. The passages close on the Father as the Crown, the Ancient of Days who rules, and on praying the Our Father together with meditation.
If one makes a more profound analysis, one discovers a most interesting aspect; the number 1 is the Father who is in Secret, the Monad, and it is from here that the Divine Mother Kundalini, the Dyad is born. She in turn unfolds into the number 3 which is Father, Mother and Son which is the Divine and Immortal Spirit in each living thing. The three, Osiris the Father, Isis the Mother and Horus the Son form that which the Sacred Book of the Maya, the Popul Vuh, calls the “Heart of Heaven”. The Son in turn unfolds into the Animic Soul which each one carries within.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in The Being Is the Being, Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted
The One unfolds
How he says the number 1 unfolds in passage 12: the Monad, from which the Dyad is born, which unfolds into the three, and the three into the soul we carry within.
Unity becomes the origin of Duality, or the Binary: 1 + 1 =2; and finally, in that Unity is the fulfilling synthesis of the Ternary. The Unity, the 1, is the Divine Monad, the First Logos, the Father who is in secret. Each one of us has his own individual Monad. Madame Blavatsky used to say that there are as many Fathers in heaven as there are men on Earth. The Father, in turn, or of himself unfolds into the Divine Mother. So it is that He and She are Brahma because She becomes the feminine aspect of Him. We see then how Unity is the root of the Binary, given that the latter could not exist without the Unity. If the Monad had not existed the Divine Mother would not have existed. The Monad is the root of Duality. There are as many Mothers in heaven as there are men upon the Earth. Each one of us has his internal God, or his own particular celestial Father and Mother. In explaining this, it is better understood why Unity is the fulfilling synthesis of the Ternary and how and why it is produced. When Jesus prayed, he prayed to the Father who is in secret, and he left us a prayer which is the “Our Father”. This prayer is completely magical. It takes a couple of hours to pray the “Our Father” well, because each petition which is made to the Father is totally magical. The mistake that people make is to pray it in a mechanical manner, and this has no effect. The prayer must be broken down, analysed; and in order to do this one must relax the body so that not a muscle is tense, and then to concentrate, combining prayer with meditation.

Number 1 is the wisdom of the Father, is the Crown because the Ancient of Days is King, He who has power over nature. He is 1 because He has power, because it is He who rules. Wisdom is of the Father; one cannot teach the Monad. All the wisdom of the Father, He foresees.

Number 1 is the Sun, the King-Star, He who gives us life. This corresponds to the constellation of Aries which governs the head, the musical note Do, and the colour white. The metal is gold, and precious stone, the diamond.

Part Three — The Holy Eight, the sign of the Infinite
7 passages
IThe Key to open all doors
Laid horizontally, the eight is the sign of the Infinite, a clepsydra of cycles in which the World and the Super-World are entwined. Its single line closes one circuit and opens another, which is why he calls it the key to every door; the eight Kabirs who govern creation belong to it, with their eight dark antitheses.
The number Eight placed horizontally is the sign of the Infinite. The eight has the image of a Clepsydra. The succession of time in different cycles can be indicated with the Eight; each cycle (or circle of the number eight) is without a doubt the continuation of the other. The Spiral of Life exists within the Holy Eight. The Evolving and Devolving processes are always performed in a spiral form.
The Solar Bodies, 1968
The World and the Super-World are marvelously entwined with the Holy Eight. The Underworld and the World are entwined with the Holy Eight.
The Solar Bodies, 1968
The Eight Kabirs, those Powerful Semitic Ineffable and Terribly Divine Gods (who were later worshiped by the Greeks and Romans and whose principal Sanctuary was found always in Samothrace) are intimately related with the Holy Eight, with the Sacred Symbol of the Infinite.
The Solar Bodies, 1968
If we consider the outline of this symbol we see that it encloses a double circuit where the two forces cross; one closes and the other opens. This is the Key to open all doors. It opens our Inner Temple, it is the sign which opens the Book of the Seven Seals. In the Sacred Order of Tibet it is universally used.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978
The sign of the Infinite is very important; to it correspond 8 Kabirs who govern all of creation, all of nature. They are the rectors of universal life who govern our planet Earth. They have however, their antitheses who are the 8 Hierarchs of the Black Lodge, that is, the 8 Anti-kabirs. There are 2 in the Orient, 2 in the Occident, 2 in the North, and 2 in the South. We mention them because they pertain to Arcanum 15, to the Typhoon Baphomet, to Satan. The esoterist must know how to defend himself from those eight Kabirs. For this reason there are the Conjurations and all of the esoterism of High Magic.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in Angels and Demons, Elemental Magic
Now, in considering the formation of this symbol, we see that it is one continuous line which, while closing a double circuit with the first stroke, closes only one with the second; the first stroke diverging into the second so as to project itself outwards after having cut the symbol at the selfsame point of its central crossing.
Esoteric Course of Kabbalah, 1969
One closes and another opens. This is, then, the key that is necessary to open all doors, to cut all currents made of atomic energy; from the one that we have imagined and deposited in the depths of the consciousness, to the origin of them all, the one that circulates in the same fashion to the center of the Ninth Sphere.

IIThe caduceus of Mercury has the form of an eight
The two witnesses, Ida and Pingala, coil around the spinal medulla and form the Holy Eight, the same figure as the Caduceus of Mercury. One passage traces their course from the sexual glands up to the space between the eyebrows and on to the nostrils.
The sun and the moon do not need to shine upon the heavenly Jerusalem because the immaculate clarity of the ETERNAL ONE illuminates it and the Lamb is its light. The Holy Eight is the sign of Infinity. The two witnesses of the Apocalypse are entwined around the spinal medulla, thus, they are forming the Holy Eight.

The Holy Eight on the spine
The two cords he describes in passages 38 and 41, crossing as they rise about the spinal column; each crossing is one of the eights of the caduceus.
All of the mystical powers of the heavenly Jerusalem emanate from this Holy Eight. Now the devouts can better comprehend why we speak of eight mystical ineffable powers. And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty and four (144) cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is of the angel.
The Aquarian Message, 1960
The present hour is grave and definitive. Therefore, the only way to be saved is by practicing the Eight-Fold Path taught by Buddha. This Eight-Fold Path is totally sexual. The number eight represents the sign of infinity. The number eight symbolizes the two entwined serpents around the spinal medulla, as well as, the two witnesses and the caduceus of Mercury. Therefore, this Holy Eight is the path of the spinal medulla. The middle path is in the dorsal spine. This is the Path of the Razor’s Edge.
The Aquarian Message, 1960
The caduceus of Mercury has the form of an eight. Thus, the caduceus is also the sign of the infinite. This caduceus is the dorsal spine with its two sympathetic chords, Ida and Pingala.

These are: Ida and Pingala, the Two Witnesses, the Two Olives, the Two Candlesticks which are before the throne of the God of the Earth and which ascend to the brain to the height of the pineal gland, thence to the pituitary between the eyebrows finally reaching the heart by means of an extremely fine thread called Amrita-Nadi.

The Two Witnesses are a pair of sympathetic channels, semi-etheric, semi-physical, which are entwined about the spinal column forming the Caduceus of Mercury, the Holy Eight, the sign of the Infinite. They are known in the East as Ida and Pingala.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in The Law of Polarities
The two witnesses are a pair of semi-physical, semi-etheric sympathetic nerve cords that are entwined around the spinal cord, forming the Holy Eight, the Infinity Sign. In a man, the two witnesses emerge from the two testicles, right and left, and in a woman they emerge from the ovaries. The two witnesses are situated at either side of the spinal column. The two witnesses ascend alternating from left to right until forming a marvelous knot in the space between the two eyebrows. Then they proceed to the nostrils. The two witnesses connect the sexual organs with the nostrils. The ganglionic cord that issues from right side is hot, solar; the ganglionic cord that issues from the left side is cold, lunar. This pair of nerve cords gracefully joins in the coccyx. When the solar atoms and lunar atoms of the seminal system come into contact in the Triveni, near the coccyx, the Kundalini awakens.

IIIBy means of the right-hand cord the Solar atoms arise
Solar atoms ascend by the right-hand cord and lunar atoms by the left, rising from the seminal system to the brain, the Chalice. The Course of Kabbalah links this to the two witnesses of the Apocalypse and to the number 1,260, which reduces to nine, the Ninth Sphere.
By means of the right-hand cord the Solar atoms arise; by means of the left-hand, the Lunar atoms arise. When they ascend through the spine, they ignite our Magic powers. The Holy Eight has been, is, and will be, the key of all. No Magician exists without the Holy Eight.

Fire and Water cross in the Ninth Sphere, sex, and their crossing draws the sign of the Infinite. Fire plus Water gives consciousness, and whoever would ascend by this work must first descend.

Fire and Water cross
His figure in passage 50: the fire from one side and the water from the other, crossing in the Ninth Sphere and forming the sign of the Infinite.
The two Witnesses of the Apocalypse of St. John grant the power to prophesy, because they produce the awakening of consciousness. Through the right ganglionic cord rises the Solar Fire; through the left rises the Lunar Water. Fire plus water is equal to Consciousness. Plegethon’s Fire and Acheron’s Water intertwine in the Ninth Sphere (Sex), forming the sign of the infinite. This sign is the Holy Eight. If one carefully observes the Caduceus of Mercury, two entwined Serpents, which form the Holy Eight, can be perceived.
Logos, Mantram, Theurgy, 1959also in The Consciousness
The Fire of Phlegethon and the Water of Acheron intersect in the Ninth Sphere, sex, forming the sign of the Infinite. One must work with Water and Fire, the origin of beasts, men and Gods. 10 passages
IIn the very heart of the Earth
In the ninth stratum, at the centre of the planet, lies the Holy Eight, in which the brain, heart and sex of the Genie of the Earth are represented. Every creature is organised on this model; a central atom sits at its centre, and nine initiations open the way down to it.
Max Heindel says that in the heart of the Earth there is found the Sign of the Infinite, the Holy Eight. This is also confirmed by the illuminated Great Master HILARIUX IX.
Logos, Mantram, Theurgy, 1959also in The Heart Temple
The Earth has nine strata and in the ninth is the laboratory of the Third Logos. Actually the ninth stratum of the Earth lies exactly in the centre of the planetary mass. There resides the Holy Eight. This is the divine symbol of the infinite. In this symbol is represented the brain, heart and sex of the planetary Genie. The name of this Genie is Chamgam. The centre of the Holy Eight corresponds to the heart, and its upper and lower extremities, to the brain and sex respectively. All beings of the Earth are structured on this basis. The struggle is terrible; brain against sex, sex against brain, and that which is most terrible, that which is most grave and painful; heart against heart.
The Perfect Matrimony, 1950
In the center of the Holy Eight, there exists a central atom to which gravitate the twelve spheres of cosmic vibration within which a solar humanity must develop.
The Buddha's Necklace, 1967
In the Ninth Sphere or ninth stratum of the Earth, in the centre of the Earth, in the very heart of the Earth, the resplendent sign of the Infinite is found. This sign has the form of an eight. The sign of the Infinite is the Holy Eight. The Heart, Brain and Sex of the Genie of the Earth is represented in this sign. The secret name of the Genie is Changam. The Zohar clearly tells us that in the depth of the Abyss lives Adam Protoplastos, the differentiating principle of Souls. We have to pit our selves against that principle in a fight to the death. The battle is terrible; Brain against Sex, Sex against Brain and that which is most terrible and most painful; that of Heart against Heart.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in Elemental Magic
Esoteric traditions affirm that the Earth has 9 strata or subterranean regions; clearly in the ninth stratum is that which we could call the planetary nucleus, which is of an extraordinary density. The kabalists say that the sign of the Infinite is in the centre of the Earth; it is obvious that within the heart of the Earth its vital energies circulate. It is for this reason that the kabalists affirm that in the centre of the Earth one finds the brain, heart and sex of the Genie of the Earth, which is the Planetary Genie. The organisation of all creatures is constructed upon that model; that is to say, within us also. The struggle is terrible, brain against sex, sex against brain, and that which is worst of all, heart against heart.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in Elemental Magic
The sign of the Infinite is in the center of the Ninth Sphere. The Earth has nine atomic strata. In the ninth stratum the sign of the Infinite is found. The Nine Initiations of Minor Mysteries correspond grade by grade to each one of these nine strata of the earth. Each Initiation of Minor Mysteries grants us access to each one of those nine terrestrial strata. Only those who have received the Nine Initiations of Minor Mysteries can reach the heart of the Earth.
Esoteric Course of Kabbalah, 1969
Severe guardians keep watch over each terrestrial stratum. Secret paths lead the disciple to the heart of the Earth. The double vital current of the Genie of the Earth is found represented in the sign of the Infinite.
Esoteric Course of Kabbalah, 1969also in Elemental Magic
The double vital current sustains and nourishes the entire planet Earth. All living beings are organized according to this divine archetype. There is a divine atom in the center of the sign of the Infinite. The nine spheres of atomic vibration are concentrically focused in this atom of the Genie of Earth. The Holy Eight gloriously shines in the center of the earth. In the center of this Holy Eight is the central atom where the nine spheres of universal vibration are focused. That is the Law.
Esoteric Course of Kabbalah, 1969
Answer: Friends, it is urgent to comprehend that in the superior dimensions of nature, submerged beneath the epidermis of the Earth, there exists by the law of antithesis, a ninth circle of glory, where the Initiates of the Universal White Fraternity can see, traced in a concrete manner, the sign of the infinite, the holy eight, set in a horizontal manner. Whoever has studied esoteric Kabbalah knows very well the inner significance of this magical figure.

IIThe sacred symbol of the Infinite represents the brain, heart, and sex
The upper circle of the eight stands for the brain, the lower for sex, and the heart sits at the crossing where Phlegethon and Acheron meet. When sex rules the brain the pentagram turns upside down, and the struggle of brain, sex and heart goes on in everyone who seeks Self-Realisation.
The Sign of the Infinite is a Key to Powers. In it is located, symbolically, the Brain, the heart and the Sex of the Planetary Genie.

Brain, heart and sex
The Holy Eight set upright as he draws it in passage 65: one circle the brain, the other sex, and the heart at the point where they join.
Now, if we graphically represent the Holy Eight, the two Circles that form it are, respectively, Sex and the Brain. And in the center of this Eight where the two circles unite, the Heart is symbolized.
Logos, Mantram, Theurgy, 1959
The Superior Circle of the Holy Eight is a living representation of the Human Brain. The Inferior Circle is hidden wit the Mystery, in order to symbolize the Cup of Hermes within which the Mercury of Secret Philosophy, the Ens Seminis is contained.

In the centre of the Earth, in the Ninth Sphere one finds this sacred symbol of the infinite. All organisms revolve around this symbol, just as within the human body of one who wishes to Self-Realise there is always an eternal struggle: “brain against sex”, “sex against brain against heart”. If sex dominates brain it leads to the fall and the Pentagram (representing the Master) rests with the lower extremities facing upwards and the head facing downwards.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978
Obviously all the forces in the human being revolve upon the base of the Holy Eight. He who wants to enter the City of Nine Doors mentioned in the Bhagavad-Gita must resolve to descend to the Fiery Forge of Vulcan.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978
The sacred symbol of the Infinite represents the brain, heart, and sex. If sex dominates the brain, then this brings about the fall, the Fulminated Tower, the inverted five-pointed star, the Pentagram reversed, the man with his head pointing downwards and his feet upwards. He hurtles to the depths of the abyss. We should recall that sacred pronouncement: The Infinite is equal to the Pentalpha.

Part Five — This Arcanum, the Magician, represents man
6 passages
IMan is Arcanum number 1 of the Tarot
Man is the first Arcanum, the positive and masculine force, and woman the second; he stands active where the Priestess sits passive. The 1 is also the Father in secret, the Eternal Masculine Principle symbolised by the Sun, and in Kether the Magician's hieroglyph is a man.
In the Waters of Life the two columns of the Temple of Isis are shown; the white, Jakin and the black, Boaz. Each one has four levels indicating the Four Bodies of Sin; Physical, Vital, Astral and Mental. Above, a female Master appears seated between two larger columns. She is within a temple and is facing us; for this reason the columns are reversed. The fact that she is seated indicates to us her passive aspect. In Arcanum number 1 the Magician is standing; the active aspect. She is showing her left profile, her negative aspect.

One and two
Man and woman as he sets them in passage 76: the first and second Arcana, the positive and the negative, and the soul that is the result of the two.
The veil symbolises that the secrets of Mother Nature are hidden to the profane and that it is only the Initiate, after incessant purifications and meditations who can draw it back. You must have valour and raise the veil of Isis, our Gnostic motto is Thelema (willpower). The number 1, the Father who is in Secret, is the Eternal Masculine Principle, in himself Brahma; who has no form, is impersonal, ineffable. We may symbolise him with the Sun. The number 2, the Divine Mother, is the Eternal Feminine Principle which is symbolised by the Moon. Brahma has no form but is, in Himself, the governor of the universe, is Ishvara, the Eternal Masculine Principle, the Universal Principle of Life.

Man is Arcanum number 1 of the Tarot, the Positive Force. Woman is Arcanum number 2, the Negative Force, and the Christified Soul is the result of the sexual union of the two. The secret is the Arcanum A.Z.F. which transforms the Moon into Sun and represents 3 aspects: Positive, Negative, Neutral.

This Arcanum, the Magician, represents man. It is the masculine principle. The number 1 means that which initiates, that which begins. All of the work is contained within the Tarot. All psychic processes develop there.

The laboratory of the Third Logos is our very own sexual organs. The ascendant flux of the sacred fire is the result of sexual transmutation. And this sexual transmutation has twenty-two fundamental Arcana. Here are the twenty-two Major Arcana of the Tarot: Arcanum 1: The Magician. This Arcanum represents man. It is the masculine principle. Arcanum 2: The Priestess-Wife. The wife of the Magician.

IIHe who wishes to become a Magician must attain the Sword
Several conditions are set for the Magician: to know how to suffer, to attain the Sword, and to be both Alchemist and Kabbalist. The Sword is received only from woman, and the power of the Magician lies in the sexual organs.
The number 8 is the number of the Infinite. The vital forces of the Fire of Phlegethon and the Water of Acheron circulate, intertwining in the Ninth Sphere in the heart of the Earth in the form of an eight. The sign of the Infinite is also formed within the spinal column. The sign of the Infinite means to work in the Ninth Sphere, and this indicates the sex. Arcanum number 8 is a woman with a sword in her hand before the Balance of Cosmic Justice. Really only she can present the Sword to the Magician. Without woman no Magician is able to receive the Sword. There is Eve-Venus the instinctive woman, Venus-Eve the woman of the home. There is Venus-Urania, the woman initiated in the Great Mysteries. And finally we affirm the existence of Urania-Venus, the Woman Adept, the woman who is the fully realised woman.

IMaking an outline upon the heart
Before sleep the student quiets the mind, imagines the Holy Eight, traces it on the heart and lets the figure sink into consciousness until consciousness wakes in the astral world. A further passage asks that the sign be loved, venerated and held in deep concentration.
A practice
The Holy Eight is a very important and interesting symbol within which is enclosed, defined and linked the magnetic currents which are set up between the earthly man and the spiritual. This sign unites or separates all the elements ruled by atomic energy if one traces it with the thumb, middle and index fingers upon the surface of the cardiac plexus. PRACTICE Achieve a still and silent state of mind. Go to sleep thinking of the figure of the Holy Eight (infinity), making an outline upon the heart in accordance with the previous description. Allow the aforementioned figure to submerge itself within your consciousness, then place the mind in a blank state, without thinking of anything. Thus, after a certain period of time: “you will awaken consciousness in that region called the Astral World”.

The outline upon the heart
The practice in passage 85: with the mind still, the Holy Eight traced over the heart with three fingers before sleep.
A practice
In accordance with the previous description the following exercise is advisable: 1- Mental quietude and silence. 2- To vividly imagine the Holy Eight. 3- To profoundly meditate on the Sacred Order of Tibet. 4- Such a sign joins or separates all the rigid elements through atomic energy if one traces it over the surface of ones Cardiac Plexus with the thumb, middle and index fingers of ones right hand.

Love the Holy Eight, venerate it and concentrate deeply on it. Thus, this number turns out to be a clear emblem of that Philosophical Mercury–true incarnation of Hermes–with which the Initiate must work in the Magistry of the Fire.

IIConcentrate on the Sacred Order of Tibet and on the Holy Eight
The Sacred Order of Tibet, under Bhagavan Aclaiva, keeps the Arcanum A.Z.F. and uses the Holy Eight everywhere. The exercise joins concentration on the Order and on the sign, at the heart or the brow, with a call to the Master for travel in the astral body, and its tests require valour.
A practice
This Order which we have the great honour of representing here in Mexico, is the most powerful Order of the whole Oriental tradition. It is comprised of 201 members, the higher echelon being made up of 72 Brahmans. The great Regent of the above mentioned Order is the great Guruji Bagavan Aclaiva. The Sacred Order of Tibet is the genuine depository of the royal treasure of Aryavarta. This treasure is the Arcanum A.Z.F. EXERCISE Immediately prior to going to bed, concentrate on the Sacred Order of Tibet and on the Holy Eight, calling the Master Bagavan Aclaiva; he will assist you to travel in the astral body. Some night we will be called to the Lodge of Tibet and in the Temple of Himalaya we will be submitted to seven tests. When one is called, one is pulled by the feet so that one may present oneself in an upright position.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in The Keys of Astral Travel, The Words He Uses
One must have valour because he will be submitted to many very hard tests. We will be decapitated and pierced through the heart with a sword; one must have valour; he who has aspiration and constancy will triumph. The Sacred Order of Tibet is very exacting, here we find the true Rectors of humanity.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978also in Diligence, The Keys of Astral Travel
Everything in life has its price; nothing is given to us as a gift. The price of Self-Realisation is our Life. One must have valour and may then be admitted to the Sacred Order of Tibet.

The two witnesses which are entwined around the spinal medulla form the Holy Eight. The sign of the infinite, the Holy Eight, is taught to the students in the Sacred Order of Tibet The number of the LOGOS is 888. If we multiply the number eight by three, then we have the 24 vowels of the great Zodiacal Lyre, which are resounding in all of those who have incarnated the Cosmic Christ.

The Great Master Hilariux IX, Knight of the Holy Grail, Prince of Jerusalem and Guardian of the Temple, has said that tracing the Sign of the Infinite focused on the Frontal Chakra and meditating on the Sacred Order of Tibet, the esoteric student will “leave” his body consciously and project himself into the Astral and at any moment, he makes himself present, after being submitted to numerous tests, he is delivered from “mouth to ear” the magnificent “ARCANE A.Z.F.” F. + A. = C: Effectively, Fire plus Water is equal to Conscience. Of course the Fire and Water of the Ninth Sphere, of Sex as instrument of Sanctification has the power to awaken the Conscience of the student in the Internal Worlds (F. + A. = C.).
Logos, Mantram, Theurgy, 1959also in The Chakras, The Keys of Astral Travel
By virtue of the Holy Eight, the sacred sign of Infinity, any Chela, under the condition of upright conduct, can put himself into direct contact with this secret organization. The Holy Eight drawn horizontally is, beyond all doubt, a living Clepsydra.

May the ineffable and terribly divine Holy Eight be submerged as a precious balm within your aching heart and may the Eight Kabirs guide your steps towards the Sacred Order of Tibet.

Now then, the fact that we avoid, with using this exercise, personal hazards related to all astral experiences, and that we achieve an astral departure that is both fast and perfect, is, amongst others, a more than sufficient reason for the Sacred Order of Tibet to affirm in its motto: “Nothing resists our power.”

let the figure sink into the consciousness and leave the mind blank. (85, 86)

Love the Holy Eight, venerate it and concentrate on it. (87)
His words only. 95 passages, gathered from 12 of his books and lecture volumes; 48 of them
from Tarot and Kabbalah. Every passage carries its book and the paragraph (¶) it came from, and the
year it was first printed wherever one is known; the 2 without a year are lectures of the
Fifth Gospel volumes, which the library prints without one. Nothing has been paraphrased, joined or
improved.
Two translations of one chapter. His chapter on the Magician exists twice in English, in Tarot and

56 are printed here alone.
