The Solar Logos

“Christ is Wisdom itself, is the Solar Logos whose physical body is the Sun.”

135 passages 28 books 17 practices 5 lectures 22 sections 5 parts

Every word here is his. Nothing has been paraphrased, joined or improved. Each passage was cut out of the book it belongs to by reference, and each carries that book and the paragraph it came from, and, where he was speaking rather than writing, the name of the lecture. Anything on this page can be found again in the source.

This is the second book of The Christ. The Intimate Christ follows the Christ as he is born, dies and rises within us. This one looks up, at the Christ as the Solar Logos, the Being whose body is the Sun. He says it in one line in Tarot and Kabbalah: “Christ is Wisdom itself, is the Solar Logos whose physical body is the Sun.” And straight after: “Christ moves with His Sun in the same manner that the human soul moves with its body of flesh and bone.”

The first part is that claim and the suns behind the sun: the Central Sun, the Spiritual Suns, the Sacred Absolute Sun. The second is the Logos as a multitude, not a person: “Christ is not an individual: the Christ is an army, the Army of the Voice, the Word.” The third is his sacrifice at the dawn of every world: “He is always born in all the worlds and is crucified in each of them in order that all beings might have life and have it more abundantly.” The fourth is the Sun’s light as a substance, “Christ is the light of the Sun.”, held in the wheat and the grape, and worshipped by the old peoples under the names of their Sun gods. The fifth is what he tells us to do with the Sun: face it at sunrise, raise the arms to it, breathe its light, and pray to the one behind it: “Oh Thou, Solar Logos, igneous Emanation, substance and consciousness of christ…”

Much of this teaching is also printed in The Intimate Christ, because there the Solar Logos is where the Christ within comes from. Here it is the subject. Every passage that stands in both is marked.

IThe Solar Logos whose physical body is the Sun

Christ is the Solar Logos, the Sun is his physical body, and he moves with it as a soul moves with its body. Short statements follow from other books: the Cosmic Christ is the Solar Logos, Christ is the living Spirit of the Sun, the Sun-Christ shines ten thousand times more than the Four and Twenty Invisibles.

Christ is Wisdom itself, is the Solar Logos whose physical body is the Sun. Christ moves with His Sun in the same manner that the human soul moves with its body of flesh and bone. Christ is the light of the Sun. The light of the Sun is the light of Christ. The light of the Sun is a Christonic substance which makes the plant grow, and the seed sprout. Within the dark hardness of the grain that substance of the Solar Logos is enclosed which enables the plant to reproduce incessantly with a glorious, dynamic and active life.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Intimate Christ

72. The Cosmic Christ is the Solar Logos.

The Mysteries of Fire, 1955

Christ is the Solar Soul. The living Spirit of the Sun. He, with his life makes the ear of wheat grow, and in the grain, in the seed is enclosed all the potency of the Solar Logos.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

We are emphatically referring to the Sun Christ, the Logos, the Astral Sun.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

Christ the Solar Logos is something more profound. In the Aramaic language, Christ is BAR-HAM, the Son of Man.

Runic Magic, 1969 also in The Intimate Christ

The Sun-Christ shines ten thousand times more than the Four and Twenty Invisibles. The great invisible Forefather is Aelohim, the Unknowable Divinity.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

IIChrist is the Fire of the Fire, the Flame of the Flame

The solar universe is the scale of the serpent of the Solar Logos, as the body is the scale of ours. Christ is the Fire of the fire, the living nucleus of every planet, sun and galaxy, and that igneous power, the Solar Logos, is what interests him, not physical fire.

The human body is nothing else but the scale of our igneous serpent. Thus, the solar universe is only the scale of the serpent of the Solar Logos of this Solar System. When the serpent abandons the scale, the scale is disintegrated (this igneous serpent is the Kundalini, referred to in the chapter entitled the Staff of the Patriarchs).

The Revolution of Beelzebub, 1950

Christ is the Fire of the Fire, the Flame of the Flame, the Astral Sign of Fire. The Mystery of Christ is defined on the Cross of the Martyr of Calvary, with just one word consisting of four letters: INRI. Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram. Fire Incessantly Renews Nature. The Advent of Christ in the heart of man, radically transforms us. Christ is the SOLAR LOGOS, perfect Multiple Unity. Christ is the life which throbs in the entire universe, is what is, what has always been and what will always be.

The Great Rebellion, 1975 also in The Intimate Christ

To us, what really interests us is not the physical fire itself, but the astral signature of the fire, that is, the Fire of the fire, the Flame of the flame. Such an igneous or Christic power, the Logos himself, the Solar Logos; that is what interests us.

The Fifth Gospel The Danger of Mental Effigies Mexico City – June 1977

The Fire of the fire, Christ, is the living nucleus of every planet, sun, or galaxy. The Intimate Christ is the great Mediator and the great Integrator.

IIIThe Star of Bethlehem is the Central Sun

The star the wise men saw is the Central Sun, the Christ-Sun, formed by the Army of the Voice, and the Inner Christ is a particle of it. The physical sun is only the medium of the spiritual sun, the sun of midnight, which guides those who fight the ego; Joshua's standing Sun is read as Christ.

The star that the wise men saw is seen by all mystics during ecstasy. This star is the central Sun, the Christ Sun, formed by the Army of the Voice. This is the star that announces Initiation. This is the star that guides the devotees of the Fire.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

9. The Star of Bethlehem is the Central Sun; it is the Great Universal Breath of Life. 10. Our Inner Christ is only one particle of that Spiritual Central Sun.

The Mysteries of Fire, 1955 also in The Intimate Christ

The three-dimensional physical sun is only the medium through which the spiritual sun acts. The physical sun meets the mystical sun, the sun of midnight, the star of Bethlehem, the Cosmic Christ.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ

“Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the Sun (Christ) stood still in the midst of heaven (in order to guide the Initiate, as He always does it), and hasted not to go down about a whole day.” (Joshua: 10: 12-13).

My Return to Tibet, 1969 also in The Intimate Christ

The Cosmic Christ, the Solar Logos, the Sun of midnight guides all of those who fight against their enemies, the tenebrous ‘I’s, the Red Devils of Seth, the ego.

My Return to Tibet, 1969 also in The Intimate Christ

IVThe Cosmic Order would be impossible without the Central Sun

Christ is the Central Sun, the ray that unites us to the Absolute. He then sets the suns in order: the Equatorial or Astral Sun, the Polar Sun at the centre of the nebula, and the Central Sun that unifies and governs; our physical Sun is the last of four. He gives the Polar Sun's nebula a hundred million suns in The Solar Bodies and a hundred thousand in For the Few.

Christ is not the Jivan-Atman. Christ is the ray that unites us to the Absolute. Christ is the Central Sun.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

Yet, this Equatorial or Astral Sun (which is the unknowable center from which our Physical Sun is just a mere Planet) is not the only one that exists. But moreover, two other, more excelsior Suns still exist within the Superior Planes or Hyper-Dimensions of this Cerulean Space. The Tamil Calendars (like the Tiruchanga and Panchanga) call these Suns, respectively, the Polar Sun (or Galactic Center of our entire Nebula with its one hundred million Suns) and the Central Sun, the Center of Centers, which in turn entwine and unify as many nebulae (of millions and millions of suns) that could exist in the millions within the sky.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

The Cosmic Order would be impossible without the Central Sun. Variety is Unity. The Central Sun Unifies, Governs, and establishes a Unity within the Infinite Variety.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

The Polar Sun is the basic center of our nebula and its one hundred thousand suns. The Central Sun connects and coordinates all the galaxies, suns, worlds, moons, etc., of this, our infinite.

For the Few, 1980

It is evident that we must search for such a supreme force within the Central Sun, which without any doubt is the most elevated among the four Celestial Suns. The last one among them is our physical Sun, which is the original fountain of the sidereal light or astral light of Paracelsus and the Hermetic Ones. If physically this force is the Ether, in its more sublime spiritual sense that is related with the Anima Mundi, it is the origin of the stars that are Christic granulated fire.

VEvery solar system is governed by one of these Spiritual Suns

Each universe has its Central Sun, and the sum of these Spiritual Suns is the Solar Absolute; every solar system is governed by a Sacred Absolute Sun, where there is no mechanicity. The Great Breath and the Okidanokh emanate from it, and it wants to crystallise the three primary forces in us. Christ Will calls the Central Sun itself the Great Breath; here the Great Breath comes out of the Sacred Absolute Sun.

Each universe of infinite space possesses its own Central Sun, and the sum of all these Spiritual Suns constitutes Ain Soph Aur, the Protocosmos, the Solar Absolute.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Laws of the Three and of the Seven

Much has been spoken about the Sacred Absolute Sun, and obviously, every solar system is governed by one of these Spiritual Suns. They are really extraordinary sparkling Spiritual Suns having infinite splendour in space. They are radiant spheres which are never able to be perceived by the astronomers with their telescopes.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

Unquestionably, in the Sacred Solar Absolute, in the central Spiritual Sun of this system in which we live, move, and have our Being, there exists no mechanicity whatsoever, and therefore it is obvious that there reigns there the most complete blessedness.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Laws of the Three and of the Seven

Do not forget that behind each Sun that illuminates us is the Phoenician Elon, the Jewish Helion, the central Sun of this universe in which we live, we move and have our Being. That this sacred absolute Sun has its contrasts and oppositions is normal; in any case his shadow in us and within us is Lucifer, the great psychological trainer that we have for our own good.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

The Great Breath emanates from the Sacred Absolute Sun, and at the end of the Great Day it is reabsorbed in the Sacred Absolute Sun.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Laws of the Three and of the Seven

From the Sacred Absolute Sun emanates the sacred and active Okidanokh, –omnipresent, omni-penetrating, omniscient– emanates the Great Breath profoundly unknown to itself.

The Fifth Gospel The Balance of the Energetic Centers Conference given to Gnostic students also in The Laws of the Three and of the Seven

The Sacred Absolute Sun wants to crystallize in each of us those three primary forces; let us collaborate with him and his holy designs and we will remain free of the law of recurrence forever.

VIThe Solar Logos is not an individual

Christ is not an individual but an army, the Army of the Voice, the Word, a perfect multiple unity in which there is no personality and no ego. Whoever incarnates his Christ joins its ranks; in Egypt he was Osiris, among the Aztecs Quetzalcoatl.

The Intimus is but the Son of I Am. The I Am is our resplendent Dragon of Wisdom, our Sephirothic Crown, that Ray from which emanated the Intimate inner Christ. Know beloved, that Christ is not an individual: the Christ is an army, the Army of the Voice, the Word. Christ is a multiple unity, an impersonal army, The Army of the Word. Each of us, basically, is a soldier of the Army of the Voice. The I Am of each of us belongs to the ranks of the Army of the Voice.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Being Is the Being, The Intimate Christ

Christ is the Solar Logos. I want you to understand the Solar Logos is not an individual. The Solar Logos is an army, the Word, the Great Word. The Logos is a Perfect Multiple Unity. Christ is the Logos; Christ is a Perfect Multiple Unity; in the world of the Lord there is no individuality, no personality, no ego. In Christ we are all one. In Him there is no hierarchical difference.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

I want you to understand that the Solar Logos is not an individual. The Solar Logos is an Army; the Verb, the Great Word. The Army of the Voice is a multiple unity, eternal, unconditioned and perfect. He is the Creator Logos. He is the first moment.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Intimate Christ

Christ is the Son of God. Christ is not an individual. Christ is an army. Christ is the Army of the Voice, the Verb. Before the dawn of the new cosmic day, the Father, Mother, and the Son were one: That...That...That.

The Yellow Book, 1959 also in The Intimate Christ

Christ is the Army of the Voice. Christ is the Verb. The personality does not exist within the world of the eternal Beloved One, neither the individuality, nor the “I”. We all are one within the Lord of supreme adoration.

The Aquarian Message, 1960 also in The Intimate Christ

Christ is the Solar Logos (Multiple Perfect Unity). Christ is the Eternal Great Breath, profound, immeasurable which emanates from the ineffable bosom of the Absolute.

The Aquarian Message, 1960 also in The Intimate Christ

Christ, the Solar Logos, is the Perfect Multiple Unity.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

Christ is the Army of the Voice, who is the only Being; the Being of all Beings; the sum total of all the attributes of eternal absolute abstract space; the total, impersonal, universal, infinite Cosmic Christ... Christ is a multiple unit. The Light came to the darkness but the darkness recognized it not.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956 also in The Intimate Christ

Christ is the solar logos. The Army of the Verb is an eternal, unconditioned and perfect multiple unit. He is the creative Logos; He is the Verb of the first instant; He is the Great Breath emanated from within the entrails of eternal absolute abstract space; He is the army of the word. The eternal absolute abstract space is the Being of the Being of all Beings, the Absolute, the Nameless, Limitless Space. Everyone who incarnates his Christ becomes christified and joins the ranks of the Army of the Voice. In Egypt, the Christ was called Osiris and the one who incarnated was an Osirified Being; among the Aztecs, the I Am is Quetzalcoatl.

VIIThe Great Breath is the Army of the Voice

A chain of numbered sentences: the Glorian is a spark of the Central Sun, the Central Sun is the Great Breath, the Great Breath is the Army of the Voice, and the Divine Beings are the Cosmic Christ, the Solar Logos, the Word. VIIIGod is the Army of the Voice, the Great Word, the Logos

God is not an individual: God is gods, the Army of the Voice, the Great Word, the Elohim, called Sabaoth in Hebrew and John in I-E-O-U-A-N. The Army creates with the power of the Word, is organised in groups each with its secret number, and is formed of perfect male-female beings.

It is written in characters of fire in the glittering Book of Life, that God is the Army of the Voice, the Great Word, the Logos.

The Three Mountains, 1972

Everything in life is subject to death; in everything exists something of mortality and something of immortality. I want to say to you that mortality and immortality is very relative; even God Himself who is immortal is, however, in the long run, mortal. It is necessary to analyse what one understands by God: God is the “Army of the Voice”, is the “Great Word”. Saint John surely said: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in The Intimate Christ

Those mysterious and terribly divine AH-HI constitute the Army of the Voice, the Verb, the Great Word, the hosts of spiritual Beings, who are so different, so distinct from the shadows of the mind who weep.

My Return to Tibet, 1969 also in The Intimate Christ

Among the most conservative Semite peoples, the most ancient god of light, El or flu, appears in the first chapters of Genesis in its plural and synthetic form, Elohim. God is not a particular human or divine individual. God is gods. He is The Army of the Word, The Great Word, The Word of St. John’s Gospel, The Creator Logos, Perfect Multiple Unit.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

Furthermore, a cause for the precosmic sounds has to exist. The great oriental sages tell us of a Solar Logos. Dr. Krumm-Heller stated that “the Logos sounds.” Indeed, the Logos is the Word.

Endocrinology & Criminology, 1957

In Hebrew, the Army of the Voice, the Host, or Creative Hostess of the Elohim, receives the name of Sabaoth.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

I-E-O-U-A-N, Jeouan, John, is the Word, the Army of the Voice, the collective Host of the Creator Elohim.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Intimate Christ, The Twelve Powers Are Within Us

The Army of the Creator Elohim, the Logos, the Verb, creates with the power of the Word.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

The Army of the Voice is organized in groups, and each group has its secret number according to its own form of work.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Intimate Christ

The Creator Logos is the Holy Triamatzikamno. The Verb, the Great Word.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983

Master: Well, first of all we have to analyze the word “Elohim”. “Elohim” is in reality and in truth, a feminine word with a pluralized masculine ending – so its exact pronunciation is “Elohim” with the ‘H’ sound pronounced–. If the word “Elohim” is pluralized, we then have the Elohim, the Army of the Voice, formed by perfect male-female creatures.

IXThe entire universe is the incarnation of the Verb

The universe is the incarnation of the Verb, and the Verb is the christonic substance of the Solar Logos, hung on the beam at Calvary. Without the Word the solar system would not exist.

4. The entire universe is the incarnation of the Verb.

Igneous Rose, 1954 also in The Intimate Christ

5. This Verb is the christonic substance of the Solar Logos.

Igneous Rose, 1954 also in The Intimate Christ

11. And the Verb came into this world, and the Verb was hung upon a beam in the majestic summits of the Calvary. He came into his own, and his own received him not. 12. The Verb is the true Light which lights every human who comes into the world, 13. When the sacred serpent reaches our larynx, we then acquire the power to speak the divine language that we possessed in the age of the Titans, when the rivers flowed with milk and honey.

Igneous Rose, 1954 also in Igneous Rose

Truly, without sound, without the Verb, without the Word, the solar system in which we live, move, and have our Being, would not exist. At the dawn of life the Cosmocreators worked in their temples with the sexual magic of the Word. The two fundamental forces cannot create by themselves; a third force is needed, in accordance with the sexual magic of the Word. Any Master proficient in meditation can study Cosmogenesis in the Akashic Records and verify for himself the liturgical work of the Cosmocreators at the dawn of life. The temples of the Cosmocreators and their work with vibrations appear in the Akashic records in front of every Illuminated One.

XIn the dawn of life, the Logos of the Solar System fertilized that universal semen

At the dawn of life the fire of the Logos fertilised the waters of chaos, and the universe that came out is the Son. The Army of the Voice sang in sacred language, the Word crystallised into geometric figures, and the Fiat of the First Instant created the universe. The Solar Logos, the Demiurge, is the author of this creation, and he will not date it.

In the dawn of life, when the heart of the Solar System began to beat after the Great Pralaya, the fire of the Logos fertilized the chaotic matter so that life, in all its splendor, would spring forth. The fire is the eternal masculine principle. The water is the Christonic semen, the universal feminine principle.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66

The fire is the Father, the water is the Mother. The fire fertilizing the water forms a cross. On that cross hangs the Son, the Cosmic Christ, who is the Governor of the Cosmos. The masculine principle fertilizes the feminine principle so that from there the universe emerges. That universe is the Son, personified in the Christ, who abandoned the happiness of the Absolute in order to become the Saviour of men and gods. The primordial waters of space are the Christonic semen, our blessed Philosophical Stone, the mercury of the secret philosophy that we must fertilize with our solar fires in order to form Christ within us.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

In the dawn of life, the Logos of the Solar System fertilized that universal semen with its solar fires so that from there would emerge this marvelous universe in which we live and have our Being. In the dawn of life, the Spirit of God moved over the face of the waters. Only seminal atoms of this universe exist in those primordial waters of life. Within those atoms is the source of all life. The holy fire of the Logos fertilized those seminal atoms so that from there this marvelous universe filled with plants, men and gods would emerge.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66

In the dawn of life the Gods sang in their golden language, teaching us the Divine Laws. When the heart of the Solar System began to palpitate after the Great Cosmic Night, then, the army of the Voice fecundated the Chaos in order for life to emerge.

The Aquarian Message, 1960 also in The Intimate Christ

At the dawn of life, the Army of the Voice celebrated the rituals of Fire by singing in sacred language. The Great Word crystallized into geometric figures that were condensed by means of the Materia Prima of the Great Work, giving rise to all the phenomena of nature.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

Divine man sang; divine woman sang; the choir of the Elohim sang. The whole liturgy of the seven temples was sung, and the Great Word fertilized the womb of the great Divine Mother.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967

When life dawned, when the Dawn of Creation began, the First Logos called the Third Logos and said: “Go and fecundate your Wife so that existence may come forth”, and he began to work with the Seven Spirits before the throne and the Army of the Voice. And the Masonic rituals were performed, and chaotic matter was made fecund, the Matripadma was fecundated, and the universe came into existence. Each one of the Seven Cosmocrators gave forth from Himself his Two Souls, the feminine Buddhic Soul and the Causal Masculine Soul, which are symbolised by the Constellation of Pisces.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978 also in Binah, The Human Soul

The Verb made the Waters of Life fecund, and the universe in its germinal state came forth splendorous in the aurora.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The Army of the Voice, by virtue of the luminous and spermatic Fiat of the First Instant, created the Universe.

Pistis Sophia Unveiled, 1983 also in The Intimate Christ

When the Limbus Magnus emerged as a result of the differentiation initiated by the Cause Logos, immediately the Solar Logos, the Fire, entered into activity. It had to be like that: the Elohim, splitting, became the Father-Mother. In a supreme creative union of him and her, of Osiris-Isis, the third emerged: the Kabir, the Fire, which fecundated that Magnus Limbus where the seed of this universe was. Matter was contained there in potential; that is the authentic “original proto-hyle”, that is pro-matter; it was there in potential, waiting. And the Fire fecundated the Limbus Magnus and, then, lunar life entered again into activity. That proto-hyle came into existence.

The Fifth Gospel The Destruction of our Lunar Inheritance Mexico City – June 1977

Really, the Solar Logos, the Demiurge Architect of the Universe, is the true author of all of this creation. However, we c not give a date to his work, to his cosmogenesis, because time is an illusion of the mind and this is something that is far beyond anything merely intellectual. Inferno or the infernal worlds, exist since all of eternity: let us remember that phrase of Dante in his Divine Comedy: “Through me the road to the City of desolation, through me the road to sorrows diurnal, through me the road among the lost creation. Justice moved my great Maker; God Eternal wrought me: the power, and the unsearchably high wisdom, and the primal love supernal. Nothing ere I was made, was made to be, save things eternal, and I eternal abide; lay down all hope, you that go in by me”

XIReborn, most divine at the dawn of the divine Mahamanvantara

The Army of the Voice dies when the Cosmic Night comes and is reborn at the dawn to create again; only the Verb can wake the vital germs asleep in chaos. At the end of the Great Day the Sacred Individuals of the Central Sun enter the Absolute Abstract Space.

God Himself, that is to say, the Army of the Voice, the Verb, the Great Word, is dead when the Great Pralaya, the Cosmic Night comes; and is reborn, most divine at the dawn of the divine Mahamanvantara.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

When the dawn of the Mahamanvantara begins, heterogeneity develops from homogeneity, the Army of the Voice (God) is reborn to create once again.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

It is written with characters of fire within the great Book of Life, that at the end of the great Cosmic Day, every vital germ must profoundly sleep within the chaos for seven eternities. Verily, verily, I say unto you that only the music, the Verb, the Logos, can awake the vital germs in the dawn of any Mahamanvantara for a new cycle of activity.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Each one of us has in that radiant sphere of light and joy, his Divine Prototype... The Sacred Individuals that inhabit the Central Sun are prepared to enter the Absolute Abstract Space; this always happens at the end of Mahamvantara (cosmic day).

Part Three — Crucifying himself in all worlds, on each new planet

Part Three · 5 passages

XIIHe is always born in all the worlds and is crucified in each of them

When the Universe came out of the Absolute the Sacrifice was consummated, figured by the pelican that opens its own chest. The Cosmic Christ is born of the Great Mother to be crucified in every world so that beings may have life, and the law of the Solar Logos is sacrifice; he draws from it that we too must die and sacrifice ourselves.

The Universe emerged from within the bosom of the Absolute, and the Uncreated Light sank into a nostalgic sunset. This is how Gods and humans descended from within the shadows of the Universe. The Sacrifice was consummated, and the Kabbalah registered in its Major Arcanum No. 12. If we add the number twelve in itself, it gives us Three. One is the masculine principle, the Fire. Two is the feminine principle, the Water, the Semen. Three is the Universe, the Son. The present Cosmic Day is symbolized by a blue pelican which is opening its chest with its beak in order to devour its own guts, from which all creation sprouted.

Aztec Christic Magic, 1973

After the fire has fertilized Her, the Cosmic Christ the Second Logos, penetrates Her belly, the great belly, and is born of Her and in Her in order to be crucified in the worlds. This is why she is always represented with a child in Her arms, as Isis with the child Horns in Her arms or as Mary with Her Golden Child in Her arms.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ, Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted

The Cosmic Christ is the army of the Great Word. He is always born in all the worlds and is crucified in each of them in order that all beings might have life and have it more abundantly.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967

The law of the Solar Logos is sacrifice for humanity. He sacrifices himself from the dawn of life, crucifying himself in all worlds, on each new planet, which comes into existence, so that all beings may have life and have it in abundance. Rare is he who receives the Venustic Initiation; it is a very special grace. One must previously have sacrificed oneself for humanity.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in Entropy and Sacrifice, The Intimate Christ

It is necessary that the secret master be born in us. It is necessary to die; the ego must die. It is necessary to sacrifice ourselves for humanity: that is the Law of the Solar Logos, who sacrifices himself, crucifying himself in the worlds, so that all beings may have life and have it in abundance.

XIIIThe Christ-Sun crucifies Himself on planet Earth to give life to all that exists

The solar myth follows the Sun, the cosmic vehicle of the Solar Logos. Bethlehem means the Sun God; the Infant Sun is born at midnight on December 24th as Virgo rises, lives through the dangers of winter, and at the spring equinox is crucified on the Earth, rising again in the grape and the grain.

The solar myth has two aspects. The first represents the cosmic activity of the Second Logos at the dawn of each new world born from the womb of the Great Mother. The second aspect is a summary of the life of every holy individual who becomes an incarnation of the Second Logos, the Cosmic Christ The hem of the solar myth has always been represented at all times as a god-man, and his life has developed and unfolded according to the course of the sun, which is the cosmic vehicle of the Solar Logos.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ

Mythology says that Jesus was born on the 25th of December, the birth date of the God Mithra, in the town of Bethlehem, a town which did not exist in those times. The word Bel or Beleno means the Sun God of the Babylonians and Germans, from which the name Bethlehem is derived. The term Bethlehem indicates the Cosmic Christ, the Sun God, the Solar Logos. The poor and unknown Hebrew Miriam (Mary) received the same attributes and cosmic powers of the Goddess Isis, Juno, Demeter, Ceres, Vesta, Maia, Adonia, Insoberta, Rea, Cybele, etc. Mary is fecundated by the Holy Spirit. The latter, in the form of a dove, fecundates Mary’s womb. The dove is a phallic symbol. Let us remember Peristera, a nymph in the court of Venus, transformed into a dove by Love.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ, Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted

My brothers and sisters: observe the King of Stars in his elliptical orbit as he travels from south to north and back again. When he travels to the north, we celebrate the birth of the Infant Sun. He is born on December 24th at midnight in order to dawn on December 25th . If the Christ-Sun did not move northwards, the whole earth would become a huge piece of ice and all life would perish. The Sun-god, however, does advance northwards on December 24th to animate and give heat and life to all creatures.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ

The sign of the Celestial Virgin rises on the horizon at Christmas, and it is then that the Child is born to save the world. The Christ-Sun, in His childhood, is surrounded by dangers, and the kingdom of darkness lasts longer than His [of light] in the beginning, but He lives despite all the dangers that threaten Him.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ

In other solar myths, the Divine Savior, the Intimus Christ of every holy individual, is always born from the womb of the Immaculate Virgin, the Divine Mother Kundalini. This reminds us of the Child-Sun, on December 24th or 25th , coming to life, advancing, walking towards the north at the same time as the constellation of Virgo, the Immaculate Virgin shines resplendent at its zenith. The Sun, the Cosmic Christ, whether in the cosmos or in man, is always born of the Virgin Cosmic Mother.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ

Time passes... the days become cruelly longer, and the spring equinox arrives. This is Holy Week, the moment of crossing from one extreme to another, the moment of the Lord’s crucifixion in this world. The Christ-Sun crucifies Himself on planet Earth to give life to all that exists. After His death, He resurrects in all creation, ripening the grapes and the grain. The law of the Logos is sacrifice.

XIVEvery time that the Solar Logos has to come into the world

The Logos expresses himself in the Buddhas of Perfection: whenever he comes to open a new era he incarnates in a man prepared for it, and there are twelve such saviours for the twelve signs. At the Jordan the Solar Logos entered Jesus of Nazareth; Avalokitesvara, the synthesis of the seven Buddhas, is the Solar Logos.

He always expresses in the Buddhas of Perfection in order to save the world. He always comes to the manger of the world so as to fight for the redemption of all human beings. He is neither human nor divine. He is the Verb, the Army of the Voice, the Great Word, the Perfect Multiple Unity.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

Every time that the Solar Logos has to come into the world to initiate a new era, He incarnates in a man adequately prepared for the Venustic Initiation.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967

There are twelve saviors, that is, twelve avatars, which correspond to the twelve zodiacal signs. The mission of each avatar is to initiate a new epoch of activity corresponding to the sign into which humanity is entering. Aries, Taurus, etc., had their particular avatars. There exist twelve saviors through whom the living Christ expresses Himself. The incarnation of the Solar Logos in the stable of the world is a grand cosmic event. Just as ni each nascent world, the incarnated Christ must make His way into the terrible vortex of the untamed forest surrounded by all kinds of dangers, so also the Golden Child of sexual alchemy, the Intimus Christ, born in every individual, must clear His way, must grow and develop among the stable animals of desire, surrounded by all kinds of dangers and adversities.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967 also in The Intimate Christ

Really, Christ is a Sephirothic crown of incommensurable wisdom, whose most pure atoms shine in Chokmah, the world of Ophanim. That Sephirothic Crown sent His Buddha, Jesus of Nazareth, who prepared Himself through innumerable reincarnations in our earthly evolution. It was in the Jordan that the Christic Crown, the resplendent Solar Logos, entered into his Buddha, Jesus of Nazareth.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, la'ma sabachtha'ni?'' that is, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?'' (In fact, before the Resurrection every Initiate feels really abandoned). And some of the bystanders hearing it said, "This man is calling Eli'jah.'' (Helias, Eliu, Elijah, Helios, the Christ Sun, the Intimate Logoi, is our supreme aspiration).

The Three Mountains, 1972 also in The Intimate Christ

As for the seven Buddhas, they have their synthesis in Avalokitesvara. Who is Avalokitesvara? He is the synthesis of the seven, He is the Logos, strictly speaking, the Solar Logos. Gautama Sakyamuni, in fact, is the Bodhisattva of Buddha Amitabha, but Gautama is only the earthly Bodhisattva. The important thing within Gautama is the Buddha of Contemplation; this is the fundamental thing.

Part Four — The solar energy is Christic

Part Four · 5 passages

XVThe solar energy comes from the Cosmic Christ

The solar energy is Christic and comes from the Cosmic Christ. It is astral light whose essence is the christonic power in pollen, fruit and glands; every vegetable grows by the force of the Solar Logos, and his sacred fire in every seed is why the seed reproduces.

70. The solar energy is Christic.

The Mysteries of Fire, 1955

73. The solar energy comes from the Cosmic Christ.

The Mysteries of Fire, 1955 also in The Intimate Christ

The solar energy is astral light; its essence is the christonic power enclosed within the fecundating pollen of the flowers, within the heart of the fruit of any tree, within the glands of internal secretion of the animal and of the human being. Within the human body, the most important base of the astral light is in the coccyx. The Aztecs named this sacred power Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent that only awakens and ascends towards our pineal gland by means of amorous magic.

Aztec Christic Magic, 1973

The sacred fire of the Solar Logos (Christ) is found within every seed, whether it is vegetable, animal, or human seed. This is why the seed has the power to reproduce itself.

Endocrinology & Criminology, 1957 also in The Intimate Christ

The Solar Logos, with its active and forceful life, causes the seed to germinate so that the wheat may grow, millimetre by millimetre. The Solar Logos is enclosed within the dark hardness of the grain as though within a precious coffer. The magical seed of the sacred wheat has its intimate exponent in the human seed.

XVIThat marvelous plastic substance

The Christic substance stands between the universal spirit and matter; without it the spirit could not crystallise its ideas. The whole Army of the Voice are components of the body of Christ.

The Christic substance is the mediator between the pure universal spirit, the Kingdom of the Father and the world of matter. It would be impossible for the Great Universal Spirit of Life to be able to crystallise his cosmic ideations if the Christic substance did not exist. That marvelous plastic substance reflects the power, the glory and the splendor of the Father. The whole Army of the Voice, all of the members of the Sacred Order of Melchizedek… we are merely components of the body of Christ. Only Christ is Master. Only he who has Christified himself can be called “Elder Brother of humanity”. Only he who has formed Christ in his interior is a Master.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66 also in The Intimate Christ

XVIIAll the power of the Christ Sun is enclosed in the grain

The Christic prana ripens the wheat and the grape, and the power of the Christ-Sun stays enclosed in them. The ritual opens a channel through the seven planes to the world of the Solar Logos, his Christic atoms descend into the bread and wine, and the priest in ecstasy sees that substance and releases it.

74. The Christic Prana makes the spike of wheat to grow; thus, the Christic substance ready to be devoured remains enclosed within the grain.

The Mysteries of Fire, 1955 also in The Intimate Christ

75. The water from the mountain glaciers penetrates within the stump to ripen the grape, within which the whole life, the whole Prana from the Sun-Christ remains enclosed. 76. This is why the bread and the wine symbolize the flesh and blood of the Martyr of Calvary 77. All vegetables evolve with the potent force of the Solar Logos.

The Mysteries of Fire, 1955 also in The Intimate Christ

The officiating altar should be of stone. Remember that we work with the Philosophical Stone (sex). The altar also signifies the Philosophical Earth. The base of the chalice, the stem of the plant and the sacred cup symbolize the flower. This means that the Christonic substance of the Sun penetrates the uterus of the Earth making the grain germinate and the ear of wheat grow until the fruit appears; the seed. The grain being given, the rest dies. All the power of the Christ Sun is enclosed in the grain. The same thing happens with the wine. The Sun makes the grape mature. All the power of the Christ Sun is enclosed in the grape. With the Gnostic Unction all the Christic Solar powers are released from the bread and the wine. They then act within our organism, Christifying us. EPIPHANY Epiphany is the manifestation, or the revelation, or the ascension of Christ in us. According to Krumm Heller, Driesch the great theologian, said, “The discovery of what one desires, the Religare or the union with Divinity, must be by these four ways: receive God (the Eucharist), amorous union (Sexual Magic), filial love (feel oneself the Son of God), death and reincarnation.” The Gnostic lives these four ways.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

These rituals have power. In them is contained all our secret science of the Great Arcanum. When we ritualize, we vocalize certain mantra, which has the power to sublimate the sexual energy to the heart. In the Heart-Temple lives the Internal Christ. When the sexual energies are sublimated to the heart, they then have the great joy of mixing with the forces of the Internal Christ, so that one is able to enter the superior worlds. Our rituals are repeated on all the seven great Cosmic Planes. The ritual ceremony establishes a secret channel from the physical region, passing through all the seven great Planes to the world of the Solar Logos. The Christic atoms of the Solar Logos descend via this channel, and then accumulate in the bread and in the wine. This really is how the bread and wine, through the work of Transubstantiation, become the flesh and blood of Christ. On eating the bread and drinking the wine, the Christic atoms are diffused throughout our whole organism and pass to the internal bodies to awaken in us those powers of a solar nature.

The Perfect Matrimony, 1950 (ed. 1966) also in The Intimate Christ

A practice

When a group of people around a table are celebrating the Holy Unction, the ceremony also takes place in all seven planes of cosmic consciousness, and opens a channel through the seven worlds by which descend the sublime energies of the Solar Logos; and thus the bread and wine are converted into true accumulators of Christic atoms, that on reaching our abdomen get diffused around the whole of our organism, christifying and exalting it for the “Initiation.”

Secret Notes of a Guru, 1952 also in The Intimate Christ

The Gnostic Priest, when in a the state of ecstasy, perceives this Cosmic Substance of the Sun-Christ, which is enclosed within the Bread and Wine. Thus, he unbinds this Substance from its physical elements in order for the Christic atoms to victoriously penetrate within the human organism.

XVIIIThe Egyptians worshipped Ra, the Midnight Sun, the Sacred Solar Absolute

All ancient religions honoured the sun, but the Maya, the Nahuas and the Egyptians worshipped the Sacred Absolute Sun, not the physical one. Three Egyptian hymns to Ra follow with his glosses: thou art the Solar Logos, thou art the Christ-Sun.

All ancient religions paid homage to the sun. Even the Vatican is constructed so that its doors open towards the east, towards the rising sun. The early Christians always repeated with great devotion: “Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Sun.”

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967

The ancients worshipped the sun, and this is something that is well worth knowing in its entirety. Then, how to explain that such cultured people as the Mayans, the Nahuas, the Zapotecs, etc., worshipped the sun, and nevertheless, all of their things belonged to a very elevated culture? It is not our sun, the physical sun, that they worshipped, but the cosmic energy and the Sacred Absolute Sun. The idea that Quetzalcoatl worshipped a physical sun would never occur to me; neither would I ever think that Manco Capac would worship a material sun.

The Fifth Gospel The Balance of the Energetic Centers Conference given to Gnostic students

The ancient Egyptians –as is evidenced by their archetypal ideas and solar architecture– did not worship a physical sun either. Obviously, the Egyptians worshipped Ra, the Midnight Sun, the Sacred Solar Absolute. All the vestiges left by the Egyptians confirm this.

The Fifth Gospel The Balance of the Energetic Centers Conference given to Gnostic students

“The Genii of the stars which never fail prostrate before thee and sing hymns of praise unto thee as thou sinkest to rest in the horizon behind the mountains of the west (because thou art the Solar Logos).

My Return to Tibet, 1969

“The everlasting and never-changing order, the equilibrium of the worlds embraceth thee at morn when thou risest until the eve when thou settest. Thou stridest abroad over the heavens in thy journey (thou art the Christ-Sun).

“Thine heart rejoiceth and the heavenly lake is appeased. The Demon (the Ego, the pluralised ‘I’) hath fallen to the ground! His arms and his hands have been hacked off, and the knife hath severed the joints, the vertebrae of his body (this is what happens when we dissolve the ego). “Ra hath a fair wind, his heavenly boat goeth forth and sailing along, bloweth by propitious winds it cometh into port. The Divinities of the south and of the north, of the west and of the east praise thee, Oh thou, Divine Substance, from whom all forms of life come into Being…! Lo and behold, thou sendest forth the word, and the earth listens flooded with silence..! “Oh thou, Unique Divinity, (Solar Christ), who didst reign in heaven before ever the earth and the mountains came into existence…

XIXQuetzalcoatl is not a myth

Quetzalcoatl is the Verb, the Platonic Logos, the Demiurge, and he is also Mithra, Hermes and the Spiritual Sun. Tonatiuh at the centre of the Sun Stone is the midnight spiritual sun; the Greeks showed the spiritual Sun as Apollo, St. John as Michael, the Middle Ages as St. George, each with his shadow.

Above all, I must emphatically say, with complete clarity, that Quetzalcoatl is not a myth. Unquestionably, Quetzalcoatl is the Verb, the Great Word, the Platonic Logos, the Demiurge Architect of the Universe, the Creator.

For the Few, 1980

Quetzalcoatl is also Mithra. He is Hermes Trismegistus, the Thrice-Great Ibis God of Thoth. He is in really and truly the Spiritual Sun. Quetzalcoatl is the plumed serpent, the mystical serpent of the Orphic mysteries, the Egyptian mysteries, the mysteries of the Kabirim, and the mysteries of the glorious Archaic and Ancient Mexico.

For the Few, 1980

Let us begin to consider that the Logos can be looked at in different ways: at times from the Hebraic angle, or from the Egyptian angle, and as always we can study it in the light of Archaic Mexico. Quetzalcoatl as the Chrestos, as Vishnu, as the Logos, is the Verb. The Word is that which gave life to this Universe. The Word sustains this Universe. The Logos produces sounds. The Logos is music. Music is also spherical and flows in the entire cosmic panorama. Quetzalcoatl is latent within us. The possibility of incarnating him exists within each one of us.

For the Few, 1980 also in The Intimate Christ

Quetzalcoatl is the Great Word. He is the verb that fecundates the chaotic matter so that life comes forth.

For the Few, 1980

Tonatiuh, the Word of St. John, the Logos or Creator Demiurge of the universe, with his triangular tongue of fire, is the golden child of sexual alchemy, the midnight spiritual sun, the ascending eagle, and the resplendent Dragon of Wisdom. He is represented by the shining star that gives us life, light and heat. Decorated in the Nahua style, he appears glorious in the centre of the great solar stone.

The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac, 1974

In the Greek mysteries, the spiritual Sun, the Christmas star, the creating demiurge, was always represented by Apollo; while his shadow, his Lucifer, his Satan, his divine reflection, is definitely allegorized by Python.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

In the Apocalypse of St. John, the shining Christ Sun is always found symbolized by Michael, the warrior divinity, while his cosmic shadow is personified by the Red Dragon. In the Middle Ages, the Logos is allegorized with the personality of St. George, while his shadow is symbolized by the Dragon.

XXRaising our arms towards our Lord, the Sun-Christ

The Rune Fah holds pranayama, prayer, meditation and a posture: arms raised to the Sun-Christ, left a little higher, palms to the light. Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth, imagining the light entering through the fingers until it reaches the consciousness.

A practice

If we analyze the practice of the Rune FAH, we can affirm that Pranayama, prayer, meditation and a specific sacred posture exist within it.

Runic Magic, 1969 also in Runic Magic

A practice

When we get out of bed, with immense happiness we must salute each new day by raising our arms towards our Lord, the Sun-Christ. The arms must be placed in such a way that the left arm must be a little more elevated than the right one, and the palms of our hands must remain before the light in that ineffable and sublime attitude of one who really longs for receiving the solar rays.

Runic Magic, 1969 also in Runic Magic, The Intimate Christ

This is the sacred posture of the Rune FAH. Thus, this is the method in order for us to work with Pranayama, by inhaling the air through the nose and exhaling it through the mouth in a rhythmical way and with much faith.

XXIEvery morning at sunrise, with your face towards the East

Practices for sunrise facing east: the vocalizations for astral projection, the Sun as a fiery rose on a golden cross with its rays entering the solar plexus while chanting UN, TA TE TI TO TU for Christ-will, the Rune of imploring the Sun on the 27th of each month, the fire rite of Teotihuacan, and contact with the Spiritual Sun through Horus.

A practice

Every morning at sunrise, with your face towards the East, perform vocalization practices with all of the syllables that we have taught in this book, start with the first syllable until you finish (during many successive mornings) with the last three syllables of this chapter. If you faithfully practice each one of the exercises that we have taught in order, for at least six consecutive days, you will soon project yourself within your astral body, this is if you are a respectable person, that you neither abuse of liquors nor tobacco, that you do not propagate gossip, that you do not enjoy making fun of your neighbors, that you love and respect every living being.

Aztec Christic Magic, 1973 also in The Keys of Astral Travel

A practice

After taking a shower in the morning, (before and during sunrise), stand facing the east or imagine that in the heavens the sun is a fiery rose in the middle of an enormous golden cross and that thousands of rays of light come from it and penetrate into your body through your solar plexus; at the same time chant the syllable UN as follows: UUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNN Soon, with these practices, the sense of Telepathy will be awakened within you.

Aztec Christic Magic, 1973 also in Imagination, Inspiration, Intuition

A practice

Every morning, in an upright position, on your feet, firm, and facing towards the east, place your right hand on your waist or hip, eyes closed, then chant the mantric syllables TA, TE, TI, TO, TU with the purpose of developing Christ-will; practice every day at sunrise.

Reduce black, red and white seashells to powder. This Aztec smoke offering is utilized for the cult of fire. These powders are the perfect smoke offering for the cult of fire. The mantras IN EM must be pronounced when spreading these powders onto the flaming embers. Then we pray to the Holy Spirit with a prayer that comes from within our heart; this is how we illuminate ourselves with the sacred fire. Practice this cult daily in your homes and in your sanctuaries at sunrise. The Aztecs practice this cult in the temple of Quetzalcoatl in Teotihuacan at sunrise. Jonas the biblical prophet also practiced this rite and he utilized the same Aztec smoke offering. The elder Aztec priests practiced this rite of the fire while wearing tunics woven out of red, black and white thread as sacred vestures, and they covered their heads with similar mantles. The seashells are within the water and the water is indeed the habitat of the sacred fire. The seashells and the fire are found intimately related. We must warn the students that the seashells only serve for this rite.

In studying esoterism more deeply, we find that the eyebrow centre, the Third Eye, the centre of clairvoyance, is the Eye of Horns. This is of itself, the Intimus, our Divine Being who is in the arms of our Divine Mother. The Falcon is the symbol of Horus. With the total death in ourselves the Golden Falcon gives strength to Horus (which is pronounced Aurus). This is related to the Rising Sun. One must put oneself in contact with the Spiritual Sun.

XXIIWhoever wishes to seek the light must ask it of the Logos

The light is asked of the Logos behind the Sun. The prayers: to the Solar Logos to penetrate and awaken us, to the King Star, the Christ Sun, and the Dharani to the Solar Spirit said while looking at the rising Sun through blue paper. The mantram KLIM draws Christic energy down from the world of the Solar Logos.

“Oh Thou, Solar Logos, igneous Emanation, substance and consciousness of christ, powerful life whereby everything advances, come unto me and penetrate me, enlighten me, bathe me, go through me and awaken within my Being all of those ineffable substances that are as much a part of Thee as well as part of me.

When placing it over the heart, the following prayer must be prayed: “O King Star! Christ Sun, helps me in the name of the holy and mysterious Tetragrammaton. Prepare for me this Clavicle, so that when I show it to the Angels, they can concur to my call. Amen.”

Occult Medicine and Practical Magic, 1955 (ed. 1978)

A practice

Take a blue paper, make an orifice in it, then filled with love and infinite faith, look at the rising Sun through that orifice while reciting the following Dharani: “In the name of the Holy and Mysterious Tetragrammaton, with infinite humbleness, sincerely acknowledging that I am an infamous sinner, I conjure Thee, O Solar Spirit, by the eternal living God, so that Thou can console me by allowing me to see (say the name of the beloved).”

Occult Medicine and Practical Magic, 1955 (ed. 1978)

A practice

The powerful mantram mentioned above has three perfectly defined stages. On reciting KLIM, which the occultists of India call the “seed of attraction”, we provoke a flow of Christic energy, which descends instantly from the world of the Solar Logos to protect us, and then a mysterious door opens downwards. Then, by means of the three following parts of the mantram, he who has recited it is infused with Christic energy; and finally, by means of the fifth part, he who has received the Christic energy can radiate it with tremendous force to defend himself from the tenebrous. They then flee in terror. The Word always crystallizes in geometric lines. This is demonstrated by magnetic tapes. When speech is recorded on a tape each letter crystallizes into geometric forms. Afterwards, it is sufficient to make the tape vibrate in the tape recorder for the speech to be repeated God geometries. The word takes on geometric forms. This mantra cited by us has the power to form the Flaming Star instantly in the supersensitive worlds. This star is a vehicle of Christic force. This star represents the Word.

a practice, in a frame — something to do· book, lecture, paragraphalso in — printed in another work too

How it was made. All fifty-two books in the library were searched for the Solar Logos by name; for his names for the Sun that is the Christ: the Christ-Sun, the Solar Christ, the Sun of Midnight, the Central and the Spiritual Sun; for the Sun spoken of in one breath with the Logos, the Christ or the Word; for the Army of the Voice and the Great Word; for the Logos crucified in the worlds and at the dawn; for the Sacred Absolute Sun; for the Christonic substance; and for every practice done with the Sun. That found 566 candidates in 43 books. Each was read by two readers working apart, who agreed on 533 of them; a third reader, who did not see what either had decided, settled the 33 they did not. 150 paragraphs were judged printable. Where his teaching runs on, neighbouring paragraphs were read as one. 135 passages are printed here.

What was left out, and why. Most of the paragraphs not printed name the Sun or the Logos in passing while the subject is elsewhere. The Christ as he is born and works within us is The Intimate Christ’s teaching, and the sexual fire and the solar atoms are Alchemy’s. The Sun as a star, the solar bodies, and the Sun gods’ legends told as story were left out too. Where the same page stands in two books, the earlier one is printed: Tarot and Kabbalah rather than Occult Medicine and Yes, There Is a Hell; The Aquarian Message and The Buddha’s Necklace rather than Tarot and Kabbalah; The Yellow Book rather than Magnus Opus; the Christmas Messages rather than the single Christmas Message of 1952.

What was done to his words. Nothing was paraphrased. The only changes are to the scanning and the setting: 5 places the scanner damaged, given in their plain reading (enclosed, beginning, darkness and substance, closed up where the scanner split them, and arms where it read arnis); and, where his words begin before a paragraph or run past it, the range moved to take them in. Each change is recorded with its place in the book in the project notes. 29 passages run over more than one paragraph, where his sentence or his account crosses the break.

83 passages also stand in a finished work, most of them in The Intimate Christ, and each one is marked where it stands. The editor asked for this book to carry the whole of its subject, so a reader who comes to it alone has all of it.
