A lot has been said about the astral body, but really the intellectual animal, falsely called man, still does not have an astral body. The intellectual animal only has a body of desires, a molecular body; that is all. Usually, this body is called the astral body, but really it is not the astral body. We need to create an astral body if what we really yearn for is the birth of Christ in our own heart.

The substractuin of these three aspects of the soul are the Sephiroth; these are atomic. 1. NEPHESH: One must differentiate between the astral body and the lunar bodies. This is very debatable because the Astral Body must be fabricated in the Ninth Sphere through the transmutations of H SI-12. Just as the physical body is engendered though the sexual act, the astral body is also engendered through the sexual act. Just as the physical body is born, the astral body is born in the same way. The interior growth, the development of the internal bodies, the astral, the mental, etc, is a material process that is completely analogous to the growth of the physical body.

The Astral Body is also the result of that special act, the Maithuna (union of phallus and uterus without spilling the semen). The nutriment of the physical body is in H-48 (48 laws). If we conserve this hydrogen it can be transformed into H-24 (24 laws) which serves as nourishment for the Solar Astral Body. This hydrogen (24) is wasted with excessive work, futile efforts, desires, emotions, rages.

When septenary man sexually joins with septenary woman, a mathematical sum is formed that yields as a result the fourteenth Arcanum of the Tarot. The process of creating a new being is accomplished within the Law of the Musical Octaves. The seven notes of the musical scale are the foundation of all creation. Only those who have engendered the Christ Mind have the right to say, “I have a Mental Body.” One’s present mental body is merely a ghostly facade. Truly this mental ghost becomes a hollow shell when the true mind is born. It then disintegrates and is reduced to cosmic dust. The fifth musical octave engenders the authentic Causal Body. Upon reaching these heights, we incarnate the Soul; we then now have true existence. Before this moment we do not have real existence.

The excess of that quicksilver or vitriol crystallizes, by means of the law of the octaves, on a superior octave in the marvelous and extraordinary form of the astral body. The Absolute creates its cosmic plan in the world of Three Laws, and then everything continues mechanically. We are separated from the Absolute by 48 Mechanical Laws that make life frighteningly mechanical and terribly tedious for us. If we fabricate a true astral body (this is not to be confused with the body of desires which Max Heindel speaks of), we are freed from half of these laws, and we remain subject to the 24 orders of laws that wisely govern the planetary world. To fabricate a solar body, that is to say, an authentic astral body, means in fact to be one step closer to the Absolute.

If, after having fabricated the astral body, we give ourselves the luxury of fabricating the mental body (this is not to be confused with the mind ordinarily used by the living and the dead, which is of an animal-lunar type), we take another great step headed for the Absolute, and we are then subject to 12 solar laws. If we fabricate the body of Conscious Will, or the causal body (this is not to be confused with the animic essence deposited inside of the lunar mind), we are then liberated from these 12 solar laws and we then remain subject to the 6 orders of cosmic Laws. The astral body, in itself, is a precious organism regulated by twenty-four cosmic laws. Whoever has the luxury of creating for himself the sidereal vehicle, needs to nourish it. It is possible to nourish that vehicle only through the transmutation of Hydrogen-48. All external sensory impressions, if properly transmuted by us, become Hydrogen-24, which serves to nourish the astral body. The external sensory impressions are Hydrogen-48, and we have already explained this before. One can transmute the Hydrogen-48 into 24. When one learns to control purely mechanical reactions, one transmutes 48 into 24.

From the Astral through the snowy Kundalini of that vehicle, we extract the conscious soul. From the mental body through its respective Kundalini, we extract a spiritual summary of the astral body. After having finished his work with the second serpent, the Master began his work with the third serpent of fire, which belongs to the astral body. The work with each of these serpents is very long and difficult. The Kundalini has to rise slowly through the central channel of the spinal column. That work is slow and laborious.

To earn a single vertebra is a heroic achievement. The third serpent opens the chakras of the astral body, and ascends through the central channel of the spinal column of the astral body. This serpent of fire opens the seven churches of the astral body. In this manner, the Master’s astral body was totally transformed. The third serpent reaches the heart, following a secret path starting from between the eyebrows to the third holy center of the heart; the heart has seven centers. In this secret path starting from between the eyebrows to the heart, there are seven terrible chambers. All of this is the terror of love and the law. When the third serpent opens the Church of Thyatira in the astral body, the initiate remains endowed with two small igneous wings. These wings confer upon us the power to instantly penetrate any plane of cosmic consciousness.

In everyday life two people react differently to the same event. What is agreeable for one person can be disagreeable for another. Many times the difference is that one person can judge and see with the mind, and the other’s emotions are touched. We should learn to differentiate between mind and emotion. The mind is one thing and emotion, another. In the mind there is a whole set of actions and reactions that must be comprehended. In the feelings there are attachments that should be crucified, emotions that should be carefully studied and in general a whole mechanism of actions and reactions that are easily confused with the activities of the mind.
