Whoever wants to incarnate his soul must have an astral body, a mental body and a causal body. Humanity as yet does not have these vehicles. If we examine clairvoyantly the astral of any ordinary person we will see this astral as a ghost, cold and asleep. We really cannot give this astral ghost the name astral body. Whoever possesses an astral body lives awake in the internal worlds. People live asleep in the astral. When we invoke a disincarnated person we find them completely asleep. These astral ghosts speak of incoherent things and are full of cold and death.

Gurdjieff also commits the error of saying nothing about the lunar bod ies which everyone has, and only says that we must transform the Being and fabricate the Solar Bodies. It is necessary that you reflect on this. We have said many times that the humanoid is not a man, and that the man is not the humanoid, right? When septenary man sexually joins with septenary woman, a mathematical sum is formed that yields as a result the fourteenth Arcanum of the Tarot. The atom of a Master who has liberated himself is very different from an Ain Soph atom without Self-Realisation. At the Dawn of the Mahamanvantara, a Self-Realised One unfolds its bodies, its seeds entering into activity. Having possession of the Solar Bodies they are restored if desired, at any moment. One is given autonomous conscious ness by having fabricated those Bodies.

Any initiate who obtains this second birth, of which Jesus spoke to Nicodemus, encounters the problem of disintegrating the ego or pluralized “I” and eliminating the lunar bodies. If the initiate does not accomplish this, he is transformed into a hanasmussen with a double center of gravity.

The secret master, dressed in his solar bodies, and the pluralized I, dressed in lunar bodies, constitute a double personality, a very serious problem that needs to be resolved. Every hanasmussen has two personalities: one is solar; one is lunar. The newborn master must eliminate the lunar personality if he does not wish to become a hanasmussen. One of the most remarkable hanasmussens is Andrameleck. There is Andrameleck, the white magician, and Andrameleck, the terrible and frightful black magician. Although they are quite distinct and different, they constitute only one individual. It is clear that the tenebrous Andrameleck will have to involve into the submerged mineral kingdom until he becomes dust. Only ni that way will the Essence, the Buddhata, the soul, be liberated so it can return to the white Andrameleck, the secret master.

When the lunar bodies become empty, when the pluralized “I” does not inhabit them, then the initiate enters into a mystic trance, remaining in the internal worlds for three days. The elimination of the Protoplasmic Lunar Bodies is only possible when the Pluralized “I” is dead and when the evil tendencies or seeds have been reduced (by means of Fire) to cosmic dust.

It is difficult to establish the precise amount of time for the Second Birth, because this depends on the quality of work. Some people can attain the Second Birth in fifteen or twenty years of intense work in the Ninth Sphere, others can endure much more time. Remember Gnostic Brethren that our Motto is THELEMA (willpower). Intimate Selfrealization is only for men and women with Thelema. Before any Twice Born, Two Paths are open: the path of the right and the path of the left. The Path of the right is for those who work in the dissolution of the “I.” The Path of the left is for those who commit the error of not working with the dissolution of the “I.” The Twice Born who does not reduce his Lunar Ego to cosmic dust converts himself into an abortion of the Cosmic Mother. He becomes a Marut, and there exist thousands of types of Maruts. Certain oriental sects and some Muslim tribes commit the lamentable error of rendering cult to all of those families of Maruts.

Every Marut, every Hanasmuss (plural: Hanasmussen) have in fact two personalities: one White and another Black (one Solar and another Lunar). Therefore, these Maruts have a double center of gravity.

We need to transform ourselves into Serpents of Wisdom, or “Naga”. We need to transform ourselves into crocodiles; if we wish to ascend we must first “submerge ourselves in the depths of the abyss” this is the Law. A Hanasmussen is someone who has created the Solar Bodies, but has not passed through the Philosophical Death of the Masters, thus being polarised into an individual with a double centre of gravity. The result is two personalities; one angelic and the other demonic this is called a miscarriage of the Cosmic Mother, a failed plan. After having lived the whole drama of the Crucifixion, the Adept has to pass through the Ascension, just as Jesus did. This must be done through the Nine Worlds: 1. Moon; 2. Mercury; 3. Venus; 4. The coronary plexus and the creative organs, the gonads correspond to the number 9. The work with the Ninth Sphere has an objective; to create the Solar Bodies.
