Where the three stand

He draws them as the lower triangle of the Seal of Solomon, the antithesis of the divine triad above it — one traitor at each point, each holding one of the three bodies, and the “I” is what the three of them make between them. Tap a point to go to it.

He names the same three in every set he uses: Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas; Apopi, Hai and Nebt; Sebal, Orteluk and Stokin.

Every word here is his. Nothing has been paraphrased, joined or improved. Each passage was cut out of the book it belongs to by reference, and each carries that book and the paragraph it came from, so anything on this page can be found again in the source.

The whole teaching turns on one sentence. A man in the audience asks him who the traitor was, and he answers that the three who killed the Lord are not historical persons at all: they are three demons every one of us carries, and they are doing it now. “They betray him from instant to instant, from moment to moment.” Everything else in this work is the working out of that.

He names the same three in five different sets, and never mixes them up. Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas in the Gospel; Apopi, Hai and Nebt in the Egyptian mysteries; Sebal, Orteluk and Stokin in the masonic legend of Hiram Abiff; the Three Furies of the Aeneid; and Judas, Brutus and Cassius in the ninth circle of Dante. The order is always desire, mind, ill will, and each is always lodged in the same place — the astral, the mental, the causal.

And he says the thing nobody expects. A whole chapter of this work is his defence of the man himself: Judas Iscariot never betrayed the Master. What looks like the worst crime in the world he reads as the most difficult obedience in it — a part learned by heart, and the Gospel of the dissolution of the ego, the highest of the three.

The scripture he quotes is set apart. Six passages here are the evangelist’s words rather than his, and they are printed in a lighter face against a rule. He does not quote them plainly: he glosses them as he goes, putting each demon’s name in brackets beside the figure it belongs to, so that the arrest in the garden becomes a diagram of the psyche. The brackets are his.

Hiram Abiff is here only where a traitor is. His three assassins are the same three, so the masonic legend runs all through this work; but the Ninth Sphere, the raising of the widow’s son and the work in the forge belong to Alchemy, and 17 paragraphs that carry Hiram without a traitor in them were left there and never entered this sweep.

Who then was the traitor?

The question from the audience, and the answer that turns the most famous betrayal in the world inside out.

Question: Master, then if Judas Iscariot was the most elevated of the disciples of the Great Kabir Jesus, who then was the traitor? Answer: I will answer this question that comes from the audience. Friends and Gnostic brothers that listen to me, the true traitor of Christ is within each of us; this means that not only did they betray the Christ, but that they betray him daily, from instant to instant, from moment to moment. The Masonic brothers well know who the three traitors of Hiram Abiff are: Judas is the demon of desire, who betrayed the Inner Christ from second to second; Pilate is the demon of the mind that is always excusing itself, justifying itself, washing its hands, declaring itself innocent; etc., etc. Caiaphas is the demon of ill will. Each person carries him well within, he who does not know how to do the will of the Father, he who always does what he wants, whatever he feels like doing, without caring in the least about the comandaments of the Blessed One. The three traitors murdered Hiram Abiff the Secret Master. Jesus the Great Kabir, before crystallizing in himself the three primary forces of the universe, had to eliminate the Inner Judas, as each of you have to do within you. Once this is understood, once comprehended that the Iscariot only fulfilled his duty obeying the Master and representing the role that he had learned by memory, we should now do justice to this adept before the solemn verdict of public conscience.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

Unquestionably, each of us carries the three traitors in his psyche. Judas, the demon of desire; Pilate, the demon of the mind; Caiaphas, the demon of ill will. These three traitors crucify the Lord of Perfections, in the very depths of our soul. They are three specific types of fundamental inhuman elements in the cosmic drama.

The Great Rebellion, 1975

The three traitors constitute the “Ego” that is continually reborn, the psychological “I”, the Satan that must be dissolved in order to incarnate the Inner Christ constituted by Kether, Chokmah, and Binah. The superior triangle is the resplendent Dragon of Wisdom. The inferior triangle is the black dragon.

Esoteric Course of Kabbalah

The first is the Internal Christ of every man: the Shining Dragon of Wisdom: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. The second is the Black Dragon of the Three Heads: the “Psychological I”. And this “Psychological I” is made up of the Three Traitors which assassinated Hiram Abiff, who, at the same time, this Master, was the Superior Ternary of Man, his Internal God.

Logos, Mantram, Theurgy, 1959

Medusa is the “ego,” the “I,” the “myself.” That “I” is triune. That “I” is composed of the atoms of the Secret Enemy. That triune malignant entity controls the astral, mental, and causal vehicles. Those are the three traitors of Hiram Abiff, he being the very venerable and respectable Hiram – the internal God of every man. One must decapitate and dissolve the three traitors! We must all live the legends of Hiram Abiff within the internal worlds. Once the “I” is dead only the Son of Man reigns within us…

The Magnum Opus

We must know that the Being, the Innermost, the Spirit, is the reality. However, another factor in discord exists within us: the ego, the myself. It is interesting to comprehend that the “I” is pluralized. The “I” is constituted by many “I’s” which wrangle amongst themselves; they fight amongst themselves because each one wants the control of the human personality. These “I’s” are three, seven and a legion. The three basic ones are: the demon of desire, the demon of the mind and the demon of evil will. The seven are the seven capital sins: Lust, Anger, Greed, Pride, Envy, Gluttony and Laziness. The legion is constituted by all the thousands of secondary sins.

These three traitors constitute the “I”

The naming, in every set he uses: Christian, Egyptian, Masonic, and the Three Furies of the Aeneid.

The Beloved One is Hiram who was killed by three traitors. He is Jesus condemned to death by Judas, Caiaphas and Pilate. These three traitors constitute what we call the “I”, the “EGO”, and the “MYSELF” (SATAN). Sebal, the first traitor of Hiram is Satan in the Astral Body of the human being, Ortelut, the second traitor of Hiram, is Satan in the Mind, and Stokin, the third traitor of Hiram, is Satan in the Will-Soul. Behold the “I” in its three fundamental levels of consciousness. This “I” is the prince of this world, the three headed Black Dragon that we must decapitate and dissolve. The three heads are the three rebels that we carry within, the Demon of Desire, the Demon of the Mind, and the Demon of Evil Will. These are the three assassins of the VERB (Christ). “But behold, he is alive and he will live for ever more Amen.” Christ has the keys of our Atomic Infernos.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

The three traitors of Hiram Abiff are called Sebal, Ortelut, and Stokin. The three traitors were decapitated. The three heads were tossed into the fire and the ashes thrown to the four corners of the Earth, the four winds. Those three traitors are the black dragon with three heads; the three rebels. The first is the rebel against nature, the second is the rebel against science, and the third is the rebel against Truth. These three rebels are in the Bible: Core, Dathon, and Abiron. The first is the one who strikes Hiram with a ruler; that is how the just are assassinated in the name of Law and Order. The second hits Hiram with a plank; that is how the prejudices and beliefs of each time period bring death upon the Great Initiates. The third struck Hiram with a hammer, and that is how the violence of each epoch assassinates the just and prohibits the diffusion of the Secret Doctrine. These three traitors control the three bodies called: Astral, Mental, and Causal (Willpower).

Mountain of Juratena

These three traitors constitute that which is called the Prince of this World. The immolated victim is always the Internal Christ of every man that comes to the world. Hiram is our Inner Christ. Hiram is the Sun King. The King has died, long live the King! Christ was assassinated by three traitors: Caiphas, the high priest; Judas Iscariot; and Pilate.

Mountain of Juratena

Sebal: the Demon of Desire (Apopi, Judas). Orteluk: the Demon of the Mind (Hai, Pilate). Stokin: the Demon of Ill-will (Nebt, Caiaphas).

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The superior triangle in the Seal of Solomon represents the immortal, eternal triad. The inferior triangle represents the three traitors who are within us: 1: The Demon of Desire. 2: The Demon of the Mind. 3: The Demon of Ill-will. These are the three bad friends of Job, the three assassins of Hiram Abiff: Judas, Caiaphas, Pilate - Christian symbolism. Apopi, Hai, Nebt - Egyptian symbolism. Sebal, Orteluk, Stokin - Masonic symbolism. These three traitors live in the mind, are within ourselves. Remember that Dante represents Lucifer as being in the centre of the Earth and having three mouths, and within each one of his mouths there is a traitor.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The Bible cites these three traitors in the Apocalypse of Saint John, 16. 13-14: “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.”

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

These three spirits in the form of frogs are the traitors who betray the internal Christ from moment to moment, and who constitute the foun dation of the reincarnating ego, the “psychological I”, the Satan which must be dissolved in order to incarnate the internal Christ.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The struggle between the two ternaries is in Arcanum number 6. This is the affirmation of the Internal Christ and the supreme negation of Satan. Arcanum number 6 is the struggle between the Spirit and the bestial. Number 6 represents the struggle between God and the Devil. This Arcanum is expressed in the Seal of Solomon. The upper triangle represents Kether, Chochmah and Binah; the resplendent Dragon of Wisdom (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). The lower triangle represents the three traitors, who form the antithesis of the divine triad. They are the de mons of desire, of the mind, and of ill-will. From moment to moment they betray the Internal Christ, and are the bases of the ego (Judas, Caiaphas and Pilate). This lower triangle is the Black Dragon.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

In the waters of life the Pentacle of Solomon, a variant on the six-pointed star. The three upper points represent the Three Traitors of Hiram Abiff (the Internal Chr ist), Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas (desire, mind and ill-will).

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

Let us now talk about the Three Furies who are gorged with all the poisons of the Gorgons. They wear hydras of the deepest green as girdles, small serpents and cerastes form their hair, which are used to encircle their bestial temples. Listen to me M. M., you must kno w once for all that these are the three traitors of Hiram Abif.

Runic Magic, 1969

Can perhaps Judas, Pilate, and Caiaphas be missed in the Cosmic Drama? Dante found Judas, Brutus and Cassius in the Ninth Circle of the Infernos. Judas has his head inserted within the mouth of Lucifer and his legs jerk on the outside. The one who has his head beneath, the one who hangs from the second Luciferin mouth is Brutus. He writhes and does not say a word. The third traitor is Cassius, who seems to be so robust, but is very weak in depth. These are the three aspects of Judas, the Three Furies. They are the Demon of Desire, the Demon of the Mind, and the Demon of Evil Will. They are the three Upadhis, bases or lunar foundations which are within each human being.

Runic Magic, 1969

Here are the three Furies: Desire, Mind and Evil Will who flog the guilty ones with whips which hiss as viperous tongues over them.

Runic Magic, 1969

Master: The Gorgons, with their Gorgonian poisons, are none other than the Three Furies of which Virgil spoke to us in his Aeneid. There they are, yes, I say it, the Three Furies, the Three Gorgons, yes; there they are, terrible... In Christic esotericism, we could call the first one Judas, the Demon of Desire; the second, we could call it Pilate, the Demon of the Mind; and the third, we can call it Caiaphas, the Demon of Ill-Will.

The Fifth Gospel 1A The Hidden Facets of Our Lunar Psychology Third Chamber – Mexico City – 1976

They are Core, Dathan and Abiram. These are the three traitors, the three rebels who we carry inside. The first one is the rebel against Nature.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

Eight is the number of Job, the man of saintly patience. That number represents the life and sacrifice of Job which is the path which leads the Initiate towards the Second Birth. The tests are very hard, we need the patience of Saint Job; without it, it is impossible for one to do that Work. To Job came a grave illness (Job 2. 9) (the flesh of Lazarus was rotting; Luke 16. 19-31), the friends of Job, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar (the three traitors of the Internal Christ) said to him: “If you are a friend of God’s then why don’t you complain?” He said: “The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away” (Job 1. 21). The number of Job is patience and meekness; here lies the path of putrefaction. The original Bible, which includes the works of the Aeneid, the Odyssey and Maccabees bears witness to this. Examples of the abovementioned Bible are to be found in the museum in London, in the Vatican, and the Washington Museum. The modern Bible is a cadaver. The Bible is an Arcanum; in Psalms, chapter 19 it deals with the Tarot.

The first lives in the astral body

Where each one lodges — and why he says we do not have an astral, a mental or a causal body at all.

Beloved, recall the Seal of Solomon with its two overlapping triangles that join and separate love, no doubt they are truly linked—the two shuttles with which the loom of God is woven and unwoven. The upper triangle symbolizes Kether—the Father who is in Secret; Chokmah—the Son; and Binah—the Holy Spirit of every man. The lower triangle represents the three traitors of Hiram Abiff. Those three traitors are within us. The first traitor is the Demon of Desire. That traitor lives in the astral body. The second traitor is the Demon of the Mind. That traitor lives in the mental body. The third traitor is the Demon of Ill Will. That traitor lives in the body of willpower, the causal body.

The Astral is controlled by Sebal, the father of desire. The Mental is controlled by Ortelut; the horrible demon of the Mind; and the Body of Will (Causal) is controlled by Stokin, the terrible demon of the ill will.

Therefore, the triple power of Seth is clear, obvious and manifest. It is ostensible that the red demons (‘I’s or tenebrous entities) of Seth, express themselves through our body of desires (Judas), through our mental animal vehicle (Pilate) and through our bestial will (Caiaphas). We already stated in former chapters and now we repeat in this one again that the intellectual animals mistakenly called human beings still do not possess the authentic Astral, Mental and Causal vehicles.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

These words correspond to verse thirteen, Arcanum thirteen, death. You have to decapitate and dissolve the Prince of this World to incarnate the Lamb; that is the Nativity of the Heart. Our astral, mental and causal bodies are out of control because of those three unworldly spirits spoken of in Revelation. These three demons are the Prince of this World, the psychological self, the Ego, the Myself. We need to decapitate Satan, and only then will we reach the Nativity of the Heart.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66

Secondly, is the construction which follows destruction. That which we are now must be destroyed. We are all demons because we have the terrible demon Apopi of the Egyptian Mysteries. This is the Body of Desire which is mistaken for the Astral Body which one does not have, and which must be fabricated in the Forge of Cyclops; sex. Then we have the Animal Mental Body, which is worse, which is the demon Hai of the Egyptian Mysteries; this must be destroyed and de capitated. You can observe how there is no peace on Earth. Life is lived with continual war, fornication, adultery, and vengeance; there is nothing angelic about that Mental Body. We do not have the Causal Body, it must be fabricated in the Forge of Cyclops. In its place we have the demon of Ill-will; that which says I don’t like a particular person. These three demons exist in every gospel; with the Buddha it was the Three Furies, the famous Mara. We have to understand that we are demons, and to start from scratch, to be aware of where we are; that we need the Great Destruction of ourselves, the death of the “I”, the de struction of the seeds, and of the lunar bodies. “That which has been born of the Father is in putrefaction”. This means that the Christ is dead, is putrefying, for which reason it is said that each one of us is a living sepulchre. It is said that He is dead because in none of us does He live.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The place within ourselves that should be occupied by the Causal Body is unfortunately occupied by the Demon NEBT of the Egyptian mysteries.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Unfortunately, the great clairvoyants from the reactionary Pseudo-Esoterism and PseudoOccultism are also mistaken. Lamentably, they confuse the Demon Hai, horror of Osiris, with the legitimate Mental Solar Vehicle.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

The Astral Body is a luxury that very few people can give to themselves. An intellectual animal without such a sidereal vehicle can produce the impression of being very intelligent and even spiritual. Therefore, it is easy that in this way he can self-cheat himself and cheat others. Nevertheless, there is something that the Master ‘G’. forgot. I am emphatically referring to the Demon Apopi from the Egyptian mysteries. This demon in itself is the body of desires. It is obvious that the pseudo-esoterist and pseudo-occultist clairvoyants confuse such a demon with the precious Astral Body. The horrible Demon Apopi, base of all passional bestiality, is found in intimate relation with the grand sympathetic nervous system.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

The first traitorJudas is the demon of desire

a place for a picture

10 passages

Judas is the demon of desire

The first traitor: Apopi, Sebal, the Kama Rupa, and what he sells the Lord for.

1: Judas is the Demon of Desire. He is a terribly perverse demon which we all have, we are all demons. To stop being so accords with the Initiatic Mysteries. We have to begin by recognising that we are demons. 2: Pilate is the Demon of the Mind. He is the one who always washes his hands and continues on. 3: Caiaphas is the Demon of Ill-will. He who does not do the Will of the Father is disobedient. The Will of the Father must be done, here, and in the Internal Worlds. “They who are sleeping must do the Will of the Father”. The Will of the Father is done: If there is right thought. If there is right feeling.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

In the Egyptian mysteries that body is known as Apopi, this is the Demon of Desire. That Demon is frightfully evil, and to think that every one has it, that the whole world is evil. To cease being so is only possible through the efforts and super-efforts of this Path. Only in this way will we cease to be demons. Mr. Leadbeater describes the Mental Body as a marvellous yellow body with a glowing aura. The Mental Body is mentioned by all as being sub lime; when one studies it however, one discovers that it is not the authentic Mental Body. The authentic precious Body which is not of Adam must be fabricated with the transmutations of H-SI-12. Thus the Mental Body which people have is another Demon which in the Egyptian Mysteries is known as the Demon Hai. It is terribly perverse, and, as in the Egyptian Mysteries, it must be put to death and decapitated in the Sphere of Mercury. Theosophy speaks about the Causal Body, but man does not have the Causal Body but rather the Demon of Ill-will, called Nebt in the Egyptian Mysteries. The Demon of Desire, the Demon of the Mind, and the Demon of Ill-will are the Three Furies of which classical mythology speaks. They are the three assassins of Hiram Abiff; the three traitors who crucify the Christ: Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas; the three traitors which Dante found in the Ninth Circle: Judas, Brutus and Cassius.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

The demon Apopi or the “Body of Desire”, which retains the sexual de sire and everything of that nature, must be destroyed. This Apopi is a terribly perverse demon and one destroys him in the Lunar Infernos before ascending to the Lunar Heaven. Later on, the work continues in the planet Mercury where the “Animal Mind” or demon Hai must be destroyed. This is the diabolic animal mind. This vehicle is none other than a demon and one must go to the Atomic Infernos of Mercury in order to destroy it. The death of the demon Apopi, the terrible monster of cravings, calls for tremendous super-efforts, super-works. Only in this manner does one bring about the destruction of the demon Apopi and the demon Hai.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

It is evident that every Intellectual Animal possesses the Kama Rupa, which, indeed, is the same Demon Apopi from the Egyptian Mysteries.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Apopi, the Theosophical Kama Rupa is memory of ancient sexual passions, secret impudence, sometimes mystic and ineffable, romance that deranges, poetry that inebriates with its tales of love.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Hear me, humans and Gods! This firmament of steel that I had protected from the world of Amente (the region of the dead), the Demon Apopi (the body of desires of every living one) has filled it with holes, since it is obvious that even the most perverse ones are accustomed to entering into that abode. Ah, when will the people stop confusing the authentic Astral Body with the Demon Apopi? When will the pseudo-occultists comprehend that the body of desires cited by Theosophy is the frightful Demon Apopi? Common and current people do not have Astral Body, they only have a Lunar vehicle of desires, the frightful Demon Apopi.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Judas is the crystallization of Lucifer. It is Lucifer’s word which takes form. This is why Dante places Judas inside the sinister jaws of Lucifer. The existence of Judas would be impossible without Lucifer. Just as the fish dies when it is out of the water, likewise, Judas dies when out of the Luciferic Fire. The Original Sin is Absolutely Luciferic, Sexual and Passionate. The root of any psychological defect is one hundred percent Luciferic. The origin of all evil is in Lucifer. Judas is the Verb of Lucifer. If you want to hang Judas on the bridge in order to unite the Path of Peter and the Path of John, then kill Judas first.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

Judas himself has three satanic aspects, because he betrays us in the world of desires, in the world of the mind and in the field of willpower. This reminds us of the three traitors of Hiram Abif. Also to my memory comes the image of Lucifer holding one traitor within each of his three jaws.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

Pilate always washes his hands

The second: Hai, Orteluk, the mind that is never guilty and never recognises its errors.

Unfortunately, Pilate, the Demon of the Mind, always washes his hands, is never guilty, never recognizes his errors...

The Mystery of the Golden Blossom, 1971

Karma is a medicine which is given for our own good; unfortunately, instead of people bowing reverently before the eternal living God, they protest, blaspheme, justify themselves, foolishly excuse themselves and, as Pilate, wash their hands. With such protests the Karma is not modi fied; on the contrary, it becomes harder and more severe. When one comes to this world, one brings one’s own destiny; some are born on a feather bed, others in misfortune. If in our past existence we killed, now they kill us, if we wounded, now we are wounded, if we stole, now we are robbed, and “by the rod with which we measure others, so we will be measured.”

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

However, everyone, like Pilate, washes his hands, they believe they are saints, they suppose that they march on the road of perfection.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

The war in the sky is something terrible, almost impossible to describe with words; the sexual temptations are not just anything... Is it perhaps easy to defeat the dragon? The most serious thing of this is that people have the ego alive, the red demons of Seth have not died and the conscience of each person trapped within the sinister aggregates, truly functions within its own conditioning and even justifies itself washing its hands like Pilate or postpones the error by saying: I couldn’t today, but later with time I will triumph, etc.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

If we comprehended all this, if we were capable to eliminate the undesirable elements that we carry within us, life would be very different. But we do not want to see our own errors, we unfortunately always find justification for any bad action. We are like Pilate, we live washing our hands incessantly and saying: “No, I am not to blame.” We never want to acknowledge our errors, we are never to blame.

The Fifth Gospel 1A The Mind and Ethics of Resurrected Masters Third Chamber – Mexico City – December 31. 1975

However, it is obvious that Pilate always washes his hands. How horrible is Hai, the Demon of the Mind!

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Thus, the organs of the senses of external perception collect the information that comes from the exterior world. Then, the information passes into the cerebral office where the office worker (the mind) analyzes and studies it. Unfortunately, the office worker has always a bad secretary who betrays him. That bad secretary is the “I,” the myself, the ego.

Endocrinology & Criminology, 1957

Have you ever meditated even once on the danger of erotic images? Remember that within your mind you have a skilful translator. This translator is the “I”, who always betrays the devouts of the Path. This “I” creates mental effigies, living demons of the Mental Plane. The devouts fornicate with these demons in the Mental Plane. The movie theatres are true temples of Black Magic of the Mental Plane, because the mind creates living effigies, tempting demons which are absolute duplicates of the erotic images that we have seen in the movies or in the newspapers or in pornographic magazines. The “I” betrays us in other levels of consciousness. A simple erotic word becomes fornication within the Mental World.

The Aquarian Message, 1960

We must never forget that every negative “I” deceives itself and betrays to that end; it lies.

Caiaphas never does the will of the Father

The third: Nebt, Stokin, who always does what he wants — and who defends himself with the axe of ill will.

The encounter with the third guardian takes place in the world of the will. The Demon of the Ill Will is the most terrible of the three. People do their personal will. The Masters of the White Lodge do only the Will of the Father, on Earth as it is in Heaven.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

If Judas, the dreadful Demon of desire, the abominable Apopi is thus so depraved, if Pilate the tenebrous one of the mind, the hideous Devil Hai, causes us too much pain with his indignant justifications and washing of hands, then, what can we say about the horrendous Caiaphas? I saw my own one (Demon of Evil-Will) climbing up step after step throughout the stairs of my own abode. It is unquestionable that he possessed a Caesarean, impotent and terrible aspect…

54. CHRIST did not give in before Pilate; neither did he bend his knees before Caiaphas, because the Christic Will only kneels before the Will of the FATHER.

Christ Will, 1959

Another very difficult test to pass is called the Test of Justice, since in this test one has to live like Christ before Pilate and Caiphas. The disciple is accused by their own most dearest friends and are evaluated before the Judges of the Tribunal of Justice, and if he protests it is because he still lacks preparation.

We must learn to see ourselves in others. If we discover somewhere an individual that roars and thunders, that tears his clothes like Caiaphas, we must say: “That is me, there I am! Yes, how angry I am, how I tear my clothes and how I blaspheme; that’s me!” In truth, we reflect ourselves in others; we reflect ourselves in our fellow man.

They betray him daily, from instant to instant

What the three do, together, and what happens to the man who lets them go on doing it.

The three traitors mortally hate the Secret Christ and convey him to death within ourselves and in our own psychological space. Judas, the demon of desire, always changes the lord for thirty coins of silver, that is to say, for liquor, money, fame, vanities, fornication, adultery, etc. Pilate, the demon of the mind, always washes his hands, always declares himself innocent, is never to blame, constantly justifies himself to himself and to others, he seeks excuses, means of evading his own responsibilities, etc. Caiaphas, the demon of ill will, unceasingly betrays the Lord within ourselves; the adorable Intimate one gives him the staff for him to lead his sheep to pasture, however, the cynical traitor turns the altar into a bed of pleasures, unceasingly fornicates, commits adultery, sells the sacraments, etc. These three traitors make the adorable Intimate lord suffer secretly without any compassion whatsoever. Pilate has the crown of thorns put on his brow, the evil "I"s lash him, insult him, curse him in the intimate psychological space without any kind of mercy.

Every Initiate has to live the Cosmic Drama of the Crucifixion in him self. The Three Traitors crucify him, they deliver him. Judas, the Demon of Desire sells him for 30 pieces of silver, hands him over for women, pleasures, diversions. Pilate, the Demon of the Mind always washes his hands, finds a justification for all of his errors. Caiaphas, the Demon of Ill-will always wants to have his own way, abhors the Will of the Father. The Initiate has to live the Cosmic Drama in a complete, integral and total form. We find that he is cursed and betrayed and will have to die; that is to say that the earthly man must die, he submits himself to the Will of the Father and goes to his death, his posthumous work.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

8. Your Judas accuses you, and throws against you the vituperation of the shadowy ones. 9. You have been sold for thirty pieces of silver. 10. The angry crowds hurt you and mock you.

Christ Will, 1959

The path of Peter and the path of John are separated by a chasm. Someone needs to fall into the Abyss for the cosmic drama of initiation to begin in us. The fallen is Judas, ‘I’, myself, the reincarnating ego which sells the Christ for thirty pieces of silver. It is necessary that Judas, the ego, the myself, dies. That is the law. It is essential that the Gnostic disciple bridges the path of Peter and the way of Judas. That bridge is death. We have already clarified that without the death of the ego (Judas) regeneration is impossible.

Christmas Messages, 1952–66

This is not understood with the reason or with the intellect. This is a very profound matter of the consciousness. Many Gnostic students are full of versatility; they are just as soon firm and resolved as they are weak and doubtful. They are, and are not, in Gnosis. They are, and are not. These are the antichrists, those who listen to the word and then escape. They are the ones who have listened to Christ and then return to the darkness because the word seems too harsh for them. Thos are the ones who then scandalize men; the traitors, the perverse ones. Those are the Judas who sell Christ for thirty pieces of silver. When they listen to the word, they are full of faith.

The Greater Mysteries, 1956

An in-depth analysis upon this double personality type takes us to the conclusion that Judas Iscariot was a type of neurasthenic clairvoyant. Judas was of a double personality, since in one moment he was following the Master and in another he was against the Master. He kissed the Master, and thereafter he betrayed him. He repented of his doing, and thereafter he committed suicide. This is how the neurasthenic type is. The “I,” the Myself, does not exist within Christ. Christ does not react against calumnies, slaps, mockeries, threats, whippings, etc., etc. Christ overwhelms because of His terrific serenity. Christ when crucified said only, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” The “I” does not exist inside the Christ; this is why He neither reacts nor judges anybody. Christ is a perfect clairvoyant who knows how to see with comprehension, without judging, without translating, because He does not have the “I.” Christ is the clairvoyant who sees, comprehends and knows. Christ is the Universal Spirit of Life incarnated inside Jesus of Nazareth.

Endocrinology & Criminology, 1957

The ego is the one that disunites, betrays and establishes anarchy within poor suffering humanity. Egoism, treason and the lack of brotherhood has divided humanity.

The Revolution of the Dialectic

The three traitors tend to seize control of the Powers that Deliberate and Execute. Bodhisattvas often receive messages from the superior worlds. Ignorant people mistake bodhisattvas for the mediums of spiritism.

Esoteric Course of Kabbalah

Any sacred individual can convert himself into a Demon if he falls into animal generation… It is unquestionable that the three traitors (Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas) are reborn inside any sacred individual when such a one falls into bestial generation.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

It is unquestionable that the Lunar Luciferian Fire has the power of resuscitating Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Once this other illustration finished, the Luciferian figure returned to his mysterious place… Then, I concentrated my attention in a most intense way. Thus, I saw something that stood out, it was a fatal flame. It was clear that such a sinister fire assumes a terrible, masculine form. The Voice of the Silence told me that Lucifer controls the three traitors of Hiram Abiff and the remnants of the ego after his final disintegration. This is how I did understand it. So, I approached Lucifer and I told him that I was his friend. He then laughed at me, and by talking he addressed me and made me to understand that I was his enemy. It is ostensible that this diabolic fire did not make a mistake concerning his remarks...

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Remember Gnostic Brethren that MARA is the Lord of the five desires, the factor of death, and is an enemy of the Truth. Who are they who always accompany him? Are not perhaps his three daughters the Three Furies, those tempting females? Are they not the ones, with all of their tenebrous legions, who assaulted the Buddha?

Runic Magic, 1969

If we comprehend that he is Mara, Lucifer, the blind Fohatic force from the abominable Kundartiguador organ, or the sexual negative fire which is the father of the Three Furies, then we are not mistaken. Thus, the vile slug which passes through the heart of the world is the root of the pluralized ‘I’, he is the foundation of the Three Furies.

Runic Magic, 1969

I believed that after the Chemical Wedding with my Spiritual Soul I would enter fully into a paradisiacal Honeymoon. I did not remotely suspect that among the submerged dens of the human subconscious would be hiding the left-hand and sinister Mara of the Buddhist Gospel, the famous Dragon of Darkness cited in "The Apocalypse'' by St John, the father of the Three Traitors.

The Three Mountains, 1972

The pure Waters of Life are the basic element of regeneration. When the Buddha was meditating, struggling against the Three Furies, “Mara” unleashed a storm. The water was already at the point of drowning the Buddha when a Serpent appeared and placed itself beneath the seated Buddha. That Serpent coiled itself three and a half times and as the water rose, it rose also; this represents the Divine Mother, and the Buddha did not drown.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

Siddharta, the Buddha is the one who accomplishes what he promises to himself, as does Parsifal of the Wagnerian drama, who courageously grasps the Lance of Eros in order to annihilate first the Demons of Seth (the Ego), and thereafter, the Three Furies who dwell in terrible abysses of Acheron.

The Passion

The gospel account as he glosses it, naming each figure as its demon. His words are in brackets; the rest is the evangelist's.

At that moment I felt I was living those esoteric, Christian verses that to the letter say: << And immediately, while Jesus was still speaking, Judas came, one of the twelve, and with him a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests (that is, men constituted by worldly authority), the scribes (that is, those considered as wise by the world) and the elders (those considered by the world as prudent, sensible and discrete). And when Judas (the Demon of Desire) came, he went up to him at once, and said: "Master''. And he kissed him. And they laid hand on Jesus and seized him. >>

The Three Mountains, 1972

<< And they took Jesus to the house of the high priest Caiaphas (the Demon of the Ill Will) where the chief priests (the official authorities of this world), the elders (the very respectable people who have much experience) and the scribes (the intellectuals) were assembled. Now the chief priests and the whole council sought testimony against Jesus (the internal Saviour) to put him to death; but they found none. For many bore false witness against him, and their witness did not agree. And some stood up and bore false witness against him, saying, "We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple that is made with hands (referring to the animal body), and in three days I will build another, not made with hands (the spiritual body, the To Soma Heliakon).' '' Yet not even so did their testimony agree. And the high priest (with his ill will) stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, "Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?'' But he was silent and made no answer (Silence is the eloquence of Wisdom). Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? (The Second Logos)'' And Jesus said, "I am (He is); and you will see the Son of Man (every person truly Christified or Osirified) sitting at the right hand of Power (the First Logos), and coming with the clouds of heaven. '' And the high priest (the Demon of Ill Will) tore his mantle, and said, "Why do we still need witnesses? You have heard his blasphemy. What is your decision?'' And they all condemned him as deserving death. And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to strike him, saying to him, "Prophesy!" And the guards received him with blows.

The Three Mountains, 1972

And as soon as it was morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council held a consultation; and they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him to Pilate. And Pilate (the Demon of the Mind) asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" And he answered him, "You have said so.'' And the chief priests (the authorities of this world) accused him of many things. And Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer to make? See how many charges they bring against you.'' (Everybody accuses the Intimate Christ, even by those that call themselves his disciples). But Jesus (the Intimate Christ) made no further answer. (I repeat: Silence is the eloquence of Wisdom). Pilate (the Demon of the Mind) wondered.

The Three Mountains, 1972

Perversity that everyone carries inside). And the crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to do as he was wont to do for them. And he answered them, "Do you want me to release for you the King of the Jews?'' For he perceived that it was out of envy that the chief priests (the authorities of all kinds) had delivered him up. But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release for them Barab'bas instead (the authorities of every type defend the Ego. They say: first I, second I, third I). And Pilate again said to them, "Then what shall I do with the man whom you call the King of the Jews?'' And they cried out again, "Crucify him.'' And Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?'' But they shouted all the more, "Crucify him.'' (Crucifix! crucifix! crucifix!) >>.

The Three Mountains, 1972

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

Judas Iscariot never betrayed the Master

The vindication: a script learned by heart, and the Gospel of the death of the ego.

The concrete fact that Judas Iscariot, until today, is really considered a betraying disciple also causes certain pain.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

Ladies and gentlemen, the orthodox, dogmatic Satan of the clerical sects does not exist, the authentic Lucifer is within each person and only in this manner can it be understood. Judas Iscariot is another very interesting case; really this apostle never betrayed Jesus the Christ; he only played a role and this role was taught to him by his Master Jesus. The cosmic drama, the life, passion and death of our Lord the Christ, was represented from ancient times by all the great Avatars.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

Judas Iscariot never then, betrayed the Master; the gospel of Judas is of the dissolution of ego. Without Judas, the cosmic drama is not possible; this apostle is then the most exalted adept, the most elevated of all of the apostles of the Christ Jesus.

Yes, There Is a Hell, a Devil and Karma, 1973

We see here with completely dazzling clarity the Hebraic doctrine of Judas Iscariot: the disintegration of the ego. Judas Iscariot is not as many think, a man who betrayed his Master. No! Judas Iscariot performed a script taught by his Master, and that is all! Jesus of Nazareth himself prepared him, and Judas learned this script by memory, thus, consciously, he played his role in public. The doctrine of Judas signifies the elimination of all our psychological aggregates: death to the ego. This is why Judas "hung himself," in order to indicate that the ego must be reduced to ashes. Judas followed a script, and nothing else. He prepared himself conscientiously in order to not contradict at all the sacred scriptures. Just as any actor performs his role, Judas rehearsed it many times before performing it in public, and nothing more. Judas is and continues to be the most exalted disciple of Jesus of Nazareth. Judas achieved Christification. Some animal figures can be seen on this stela; these are a vibrant representation of our psychological errors.

1977 - The Mayan Mysteries

In the path to the Absolute one has to descend, it is there that one becomes a dead crocodile. Later the task is to ascend, and the ascent is extremely difficult. Once having submerged in the Being one can say: “I am Horus”, one can speak in the language of the Gods, can be the Living God in the sight of the Red Demons which make up the ego. Card 13 contains the Gospel of Judas. Judas represents the Death of the Ego that is his Gospel. He played that part as he had been ordered to do so by the Great Master. Judas is now to be found working in the infernal worlds with the demons in order to redeem them and win over one or another of them. When his work concludes he will go with Jesus to the Absolute because he has well and truly earned it.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

Arcanum number 13 contains the gospel of Judas. Judas represents the death of the “I”. The gospel of Judas is that of Death, it is the dissolution of the ego. Judas symbolises the ego which one must decapitate.

The legend as instructionThe three caverns

The three caverns

The masonic legend worked as instruction — twenty-seven Masters, three groups of nine, and where each traitor is found.

The 27 Masters that went out to look for the first traitor divided themselves into three groups of nine. These three groups practiced in the Orient, the South, and the Occident. This reminds us of the three doors of the temple: Man, Woman, Sex. Only by descending to the ninth sphere (sex) can we find the Prince of this World and decapitate it. The Masters found the first traitor hidden in the cavern of desire. That is how the Master decapitates the first traitor. That is how the Master presents himself before King Solomon carrying in one hand a dagger and in the other the head of the first traitor. Thus the Master exclaims, “With me comes vengeance!”

Mountain of Juratena

The second traitor was found by the second group of nine Masters, inside of the cavern of the mind, at that door is the dog of desire. The Masters took Solomon prisoner, this occurred 18 days after their departure, in the afternoon and in the moments in which the duties of the temple were being completed, Solomon made them cut open his body, they cut off his head, and pulled out his heart. These 18 days remind us of the 18th Arcanum of the Tarot. In reality the secret and hidden enemies of the mind spy on us to lead us astray from the path of Initiation. Only nine Masters found the second traitor. Only by descending to the ninth sphere do we manage to decapitate the second traitor.

Mountain of Juratena

The third group of nine Masters found the third traitor and they had to defend themselves with much valor because the third traitor defended himself heroically with the axe of ill will. What was most grave was that the third traitor attempted to throw himself into the abyss, always ill will and disobedience makes us fall into the abyss. The three heads were placed on three adorned poles of iron at the door of the temple, and then they were thrown in the fire.

Mountain of Juratena

We have to descend to the ninth sphere (sex), in order to decapitate the three traitors of Hiram Abiff. All the great initiates of the past had to descend to the ninth sphere. The secret key is the Great Arcanum. This Arcanum is sexual. There must be sexual connection. The key is found in the union of the phallus with the uterus, what is important is for the couple to retreat before consummating the sexual act, before the spasm, before the physiological orgasm to avoid the ejaculation of semen; one must not ejaculate the semen inside or outside of the womb. The refrained desire transmutes the seminal fluid into rarefied seminal vapors, which at the same time convert themselves into solar and lunar energies, positive and negative. Those electro-magnetic energies ascend through two fine ganglionic channels that wrap around the spinal cord. Those energies rise up to the chalice, that chalice is the brain. That is how the brain is semenized. That is how the semen is cerebrated.

Mountain of Juratena

An abyss exists between the Path of Peter and the Path of John. It is indispensable to establish a bridge over that precipice in order to unite the two paths. It is urgent to hang, to lynch Judas on the bridge. Judas is the Pluralized “I,” the Myself that betrays the Intimate Christ from moment to moment. In the Divine Comedy, Dante describes Judas’ head within Lucifer’s jaws and his feet dangling. Judas is the lunar legion of Diabolic “I’s” that every Intellectual Animal carries within himself it is made out of the granulations of Luciferic Fire or Negative Fohat.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

It is urgent to tread upon the Path of Peter and to hang Judas on the bridge in order to have the right of treading upon the Heavenly Path, the Path of the Verb, the Path of John. If to practice Sexual Magic (Maithuna) is mandatory on the Path of Peter, on the Path of John Sex is absolutely forbidden.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

A practice

We have to perform a double work within our own Atomic Infernos: first, to transmute the Lead into Gold and second, to execute Judas by hanging.

The Solar Bodies, 1968

Second Day: to descend to the abyss to face terrible sacrifices, to utilise the creative energy for the destruction of all the subjective elements of the ego. This work is realised in the lunar infernal worlds, in the sub-lunar regions of which the esoteric books speak. One then completely eliminates the Three Traitors of the Intimate Christ: Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas; and the atoms of the Secret Enemy. One must disintegrate the Dragon of Darkness, the Red Dragon. One continues with the secondary submerged beasts in which the consciousness is trapped.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

Arcanum number 21 is the “Madman of the Tarot”, or the “Transmutation”. The kabalistic addition gives us 2 + 1 = 3. In this Arcanum 21 the Initiate has to fight against the “3” Traitors of Hiram Abiff: the demon of Desire, the demon of the Mind and the demon of Ill-will.

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

People think that Our Father who is in Heaven is a gentleman who is sitting up there. If we reflect profoundly, the Monad, the Unity, the origin of all other unities or Monads will be discovered. It is clear that the Monad has need of something in life in order to SelfRealise. What is it that the Monad needs? In the light of the Sanskrit we can ascertain that He needs “Vatrasattwa”, the meaning of which is “Diamond Soul”. This is a Soul which has no “I”; which has eliminated all the subjective ele ments of the perceptions. These elements are the “I’s” and the three traitors of Hiram Abiff, or, that which is the same; Judas the demon of Desire, mistakenly called the Astral body; Pilate the demon of the Mind, which is confused with the Mental body, and Caiaphas, the demon of Ill-will. Why should it be that all this is unknown to the pseudo-esoteric schools?

Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978

As a sequence, we can emphasise the irrefutable idea that to intend the radical elimination of the three traitors of Hiram Abiff, without the previous death of the pluralised ‘I’ (Seth), would be an absurdity…

My Return to Tibet, 1969

But, when it comes to penetrating the occult part of the psychological moon, the hidden part, it requires a greater effort. That already belongs to the Initiation of Judas, it corresponds to the Passion for the Lord. No one could penetrate those areas, if he did not wield the spear in the Forge of the Cyclopes, that is, in the Ninth Sphere. Mysteries? Yes, very profound ones!

The Fifth Gospel 1A The False World of Appearances Third Chamber – Mexico City – 1976

Afterward, I had to come face to face with the Initiation of Judas –the Passion of the Lord–. Upon reaching those heights, I discovered that there are psychological defects, psychic aggregates so ancient and so impossible to disintegrate that it is necessary to resort to the Ninth Sphere, to descend to the Lit Forge of Vulcan.

The Fifth Gospel 1B Didactic Synopsis of Mystical Death

It is written with ardent fiery coals in the marvelous book of all splendors that these are the three traitors who assassinated Hiram or better if we say Chiram-Osiris, the Intimate God of every man who comes into the world.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

We must search with infinite yearnings within each one of us for these three assassins of the secret Master, so that, finally, on a given day (the date, day and hour does not matter), we will exclaim with all of the strength of our soul: “The King is dead, hail to the King!” It is ostensible that the first treacherous one is indeed the loathsome demon of desire. It is unquestionable that the second disloyal one is the horrifying demon of the mind. It is evident, clear and definitive that the third traitor is the vile demon of evil will. Judas is the first. He is the one who sells the secret Christ for thirty silver coins. Pilate is the second. He always washes his hands and declares himself innocent; he never recognizes himself as guilty. Caiaphas is the third. He never does the will of the Father; he abhorred the Lord and still is abhorring Him.

In the abyss of Selene I started my work

His own account of killing all three, in order, with the conjurations he used.

However, it is unquestionable that the superior work within the lunar abysses, in order to eliminate the three traitors of Chiram-Osiris, undoubtedly would be very difficult. I was warned and advised with the following words: “You must be very careful of lunar coldness,” as if they were trying to say: “Do not abandon Sexual Magic, since you have now the ‘I’ very well dead; yet, if you commit the mistake of falling again into animal generation, then, your Ego will resurrect little by little.”

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

I initiated my work by disintegrating Judas, the Demon of Desire, the Theosophical Kama Rupa in the abyss of Selene. It is lamentable that many ignorant people confuse this first traitor with the sidereal or astral body that the Twice Born built in the Fiery Forge of Vulcan. The Scorpion Head Goddess, the third cosmic aspect of my Divine Mother Kundalini, while walking inside of that passionate monster, disguised as a mysterious scorpion, made to rain upon him her cup of destruction... Thus, the Gods who assisted me rent apart the chest of the first Fury without any kind of mercy. The frightfully divine Lion Head Goddess immobilized its limbs, She removed from him the whole bestial force that he possessed. It is not irrelevant to say with complete assertion and great emphasis that at good time and thanks to the direct help of my Divine Mother Kundalini, the horrifying Demon of Desire, the evil Judas was reduced to ashes. Afterwards, a little bit later, I had to continue my work with the disquieting demon of the mind that brings us too much bitterness, the abominable Pilate of all times.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

In the abyss of Selene I started my work by disintegrating Judas, the Demon of Lust... It should be mentioned now that thanks to the direct help of my Divine Mother Kundalini, the horrible Demon of Lust was reduced to ashes...

The Three Mountains, 1972

Hence, I exclaimed with The Book of the Occult Abode: “Oh Demon Apopi! You must die in the profundity of the lake from heaven, within the lunar atomic infernos, there where my Father who is in secret has commanded the death for thee. “Get thee hence, then, oh malignant demon of desire before the arrows of my light which inflict severe pain upon thee! “Behold, the Gods who assist me rend apart thy chest without any kind of mercy. The frightfully Divine Lion Head Goddess immobilises thy limbs, She removes from thee the bestial force that thou possesses. “The Scorpion Head Goddess, the third aspect of my Divine Mother, while walking inside of thyself, transformed into a mysterious scorpion, makes to rain upon thee her cup of destruction. “Hence, Apopi, enemy of Ra (The Logos), disappear definitively. Thou also wanted to enter inside the Mysteries of the White Lodge, to victoriously pass through the regions of the internal East while conserving the venom of thy desires. Yet, thou mistook the door, because thy fate is the abyss and death. “Apopi, thou hast been overthrown! Thou certainly hast felt very well the pain that the Scorpion Head Goddess has inflicted upon thee! The enjoyments of sexual passion no longer will be felt by thee! RA, my Internal God makes thee, fulminated by the lightning of cosmic Justice, to withdraw! He wounds thee! He injures thee to the death! He makes a thousand cuts on your passionate face! He breaks thy bones asunder! He reduces thee into dust!” Delectable enchantments, terribly malignant and fascinating beauties exist within the SubLunar Atomic infernos. Remember, beloved reader, that crime is hidden within the miraculous cadences of poetry.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Apopi has died. What a joy! Now that beast can no longer afflict my painful heart. The throng of passions has passed. The voice of the ineffable Gods resound on the abutting jungle. The sexual passion of Apopi has died. Thus, not too far from the nest within which the birds of mystery are cooing with their tender melodies, I feel more happy than the luminous swan who saw from Leda that immortal whiteness. I am the one who just yesterday uttered the blue verse and the profane song. As the Gongorism of Galatea, indeed, the Marquess Verleniana enchanted me as well. Hence, I was joining to the sublime passion a sensual human hyperesthesia. Among the living sound of sounding music that animates the choir of inebriated Bacchantes, who drink wine, water roses and weave dances, I wallowed like the pig within the mud. Apopi has died. The hour of the supreme triumph, granted to my tears and offerings by the power of my Divine Mother, has arrived.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Hence, that night on which I returned into the Sacred Order of Tibet I was happy. I left the cadaver of the terrible Demon Apopi within the deepest abysses. Lord! Lord! How much I suffer when I see these so mistaken, wretched people! They think that they already possess the Astral Body. However, they truly only possess the body of desires, the abominable Demon Apopi… Beautiful work from my Mother Kundalini…! She reduced the frightful Demon of Desire into dust…

My Return to Tibet, 1969

“Get thee hence, then, oh Demon of the mind, thou unto whom Osiris (the Inner Being of each human being) feels horror! Get away from my boat blown by propitious winds.” And I cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars, calling to my Divine Mother Kundalini with all the strength of my soul; and seven thunders uttered my voice... “The Gods from the vast land are subjugated. Away from me loathsome Pilate, the God, Lord of the region of the Dead detests thee!” Thus, that sinister Fury in its terrifying dusk took the appearance of a child... A vain shadow slowly losing its figure, a monster slowly attaining beauty... it loses its original size, it is reduced into a point; then, it disappears forever... Annihilation - a terrible word that was the final doom of that fatal Pilate who was tormenting me...

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

I open The Egyptian Book of the Occult Abode and I study chapter XL, which literally states: “Get thee hence oh Demon Hai! (Demon of the Mind) horror of Osiris. Thine head (the mental lunar vehicle) has been cut by Thoth (Buddha, the Innermost). The cruelties (the work on mental disintegration) that I have exercised on thyself, has been commanded unto me by the Hierarchies of heaven. “Get thee hence, then, oh Demon Hai, thou unto whom Osiris feels horror! Get away from my boat (my life’s own ship) blown by propitious winds.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

So, this is how, by intensely working and by supplicating Isis, my Divine Mother Kundalini, I finally achieved the disintegration, the reduction of the terrible Demon Hai of the Egyptian Mysteries into cosmic dust.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

Thereafter, I continued my work by attacking Caiaphas, the third traitor, the most detestable of all Furies... I saw the Demon of Evil-Will climbing up all the stairs of my own abode. He possessed a Caesar-like aspect.

Parsifal Unveiled, 1970

“May the Gods furnish me with thy throne, Oh RA! furnishing me likewise with thy glorious body. I traveleth over the paths of RA at daybreak to drive back the Demon NEBT (the Demon of evil will) he cometh in disguise behind a column of flames, thus on a narrow and long corridor he unexpectedly attacks me…”

My Return to Tibet, 1969

These three traitors, Judas, Pilate and Caiaphas, are the same three demons of the Egyptian mysteries cited in this chapter: The Demon of Desire, the Demon of the Mind and the Demon of Evil-Will.

My Return to Tibet, 1969

✦ ✦ ✦

How this was made. Fifty-two books were fetched and extracted, and indexed as 73,105 paragraphs and 2,157,671 words. They were swept for the three by every name he gives them — Judas, Pilate, Caiaphas, Apopi, Hai, Nebt, Sebal, Orteluk, Stokin — for the role itself, traitor, treason, betrayal, and for the phrases he builds out of them: the demon of desire, the three traitors, the assassins of Hiram, the inner Judas. That returned 384 candidate paragraphs in 40 books, every one of which was read and judged.

Two letters had to be swept by hand. Hai is the Egyptian name of the second traitor and it also sits inside ordinary words, so it was never allowed to raise a candidate on its own: it counts only where a demon, a mind, or one of its brother demons stands beside it.

The Furies were admitted, swept, and thrown out. He calls the three the Three Furies of classical mythology, so fury and furies went in; 32 paragraphs came back carrying one and nothing else, and every one of them was the Aeneid’s own Furies or a man shouting with all his fury. None is printed.

Not one silent correction was needed. Of the five works before this, every one carried at least one repair — a scanner’s remfiin for remain, a broken chapter heading, a stray footnote digit. These 111 passages stand exactly as the books have them, and the only thing done to any of them is the line-break rule below.

The line the typesetter broke. A word split across the end of a line reaches this page 17 times. One rule closes them and it never invents a letter: if the two halves make a word, the hyphen goes; if the first half is a prefix that compounds, the hyphen stays and only the space closes. 9 were closed up and 8 kept their hyphen.

Three hundred and eighty-five paragraphs were never offered to the sweep. 247 are the places where his transcribers marked that the tape had lost words or could not make them out; the other 138 are not his at all — the editors’ front matter and the volumes’ own contents and index.

Checked three ways. Every passage was proved to stand word for word in the raw extraction of its own PDF; the text printed here was proved equal to those paragraphs; and the text was pulled back out of the finished booklets and proved to contain all 111 of them. No failures.

4 passages also stand in another work of the series, and each is marked. Where a paragraph names a defect as well as a traitor, the rule is that the work whose subject it plainly is takes it; these four are the ones where the three are the subject.

They betray him daily, from instant to instant
