Tap a part to go to it. Below, a descent in five stations from the Unmanifested Prakriti to the Divine Mother in each one, each named in his own words and linked to a passage where the words stand. The caption is his own words, from the passage it links to.
Every word here is his. Nothing has been paraphrased or improved. Each passage
was cut out of the book it belongs to by reference, and each carries that book and the
paragraph it came from (and, where he was speaking rather than writing, the name of the
lecture), so anything on this page can be found again in the source. Many of these passages
also stand in other works of the shelf, chiefly Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted, the first work of
this family, and are gathered here for the one subject.
The first part is what Mother Space is: the Primordial Substance, the Prakriti in its three modes, Love,
and the Father-Mother: “Space as Mother is the fertile bosom from which everything emerges and everything immerses.”“Mother Space is the same Prakriti of the Hindustani, the Divine Mother.”
The second part is the Chaos and the waters from which every universe comes:
“…the Chaos is the seedbed of the Cosmos.”“The Cosmos comes from the Chaos, and the Light from the Darkness.”
The third part is the fecundation of the Chaos by the Logos and the Word at the dawn of a universe:
“It is necessary to impregnate the waters of space with the Sacred Fire, to create the Universe.”“In the dawn of life, the Spirit of God moved over the face of the waters.”
The fourth part is her womb, where worlds and humanities are gestated, and the return to her bosom that
he asks of the one who would live by her laws: “Worlds are gestated in the Great Womb of the Divine Mother.”““nine” ages are necessary in the womb of Rhea, Tonantzin, Cibeles, in other words, Mother Nature, in order for a Planetary Humanity to be born.”
The fifth part is her names among the peoples, and her two aspects: “She is the hindustani Prakriti, and metaphysically Aditi and even Mulaprakriti.”
The sixth part is the cosmic Mother in each one, the particular Mother of every human being:
“…it is urgent to know that the Prakriti has its particularity in each man.”“This means that we also have a Divine Mother in each of us.”

IMother Space is the same Prakriti of the Hindustani
A chapter of The Solar Bodies names Mother Space as the Primordial Substance from which the hydrogens of the seven cosmos condense, so that fire, air, water and earth are densified Prakriti. It then declares her one in the Cosmic Night and threefold in the Cosmic Day, and gives her Roman, Nordic and Aztec names.
The Hindustani sages cite the “Prakriti” in all of their sacred books. The Prakriti is that Primordial Substance from were the Twelve Basic Fundamental Hydrogens (which serve as foundations to the Seven Cosmos) emerge by successive condensations or crystallizations.
The Solar Bodies, 1968
Variety in its own depth is a Unity, since, Tattwas, Senses, Mind and all of those other multiplicities of beings and things become diverse modes of crystallization of the Primordial Substance.
The Solar Bodies, 1968also in Elemental Magic
The fire which blazes, the air which not a single living creature could exist without, the waters of the boisterous sea and the perfumed earth are condensed Akash, Materialized Mulaprakriti, and Densified Prakriti.

Mother Space is therefore the Primordial Substance, the R Matter of the Great Work. Space as Mother is the fertile bosom from which everything emerges and everything immerses.

Let definitively be declared in this chapter, Mother Space is the same Prakriti of the Hindustani, the Divine Mother.

The Prakriti is One, Unique, Indivisible and Integral during the Pralaya (Cosmic Night). Yet, during the Mahamanvantara (Cosmic Day) as a consequence of the activity of the First, Second and Third Logos, the Prakriti expands and builds up from herself in Three Aspects.
The Solar Bodies, 1968
The three modes of the Prakriti are: First, the Unmanifested Prakriti; Second the Prakriti in Nature; Third, the Prakriti as Queen of the Infernos and Death.
The Solar Bodies, 1968
The Unmanifested Prakriti has no symbol amongst the Aztecs. The Manifested Prakriti (Nature) has the Aztec symbol of Tonatzin, the Adorable Mother. The Greeks symbolized this second aspect of the Cosmic Mother as the Chaste Diana.

IIEverything is born from the Prakriti, everything returns to the Prakriti
Hermetic Astrology calls the Prakriti the Divine Mother and the single substance behind all elements. Universes are born in her bosom in the Great Day and dissolve in it in the Great Night, and the Bhagavad-Gita is quoted where the Prakriti is the womb into which the germ is placed.
The Prakriti is the Divine Mother, the primordial substance of nature.

IIIBehind the Unmanifested Prakriti is the Unmanifested Absolute
Here the Mother is traced back to where she has not yet manifested. The Unmanifested Prakriti stands before the Absolute and must be entered first; she is Love, Isis unveiled by no mortal, worshipped by every great religion, and in the Pistis Sophia she is the Virgin of Light, whose temple very few enter.
“The earth, water, fire, air, space, mind, intellect and the Ego, are the eight categories into which my Prakriti is divided.” This is how it is written; these are the words of the Blessed One.

VThe Eternal Common Cosmic Father-Mother
The root of the cosmos is placed in Parabrahman and Mulaprakriti, the One under two aspects, and not in some neutral place of origin. In a Fifth Gospel lecture the inner Father-Mother of each Bodhisattva is said to emanate from this common cosmic pair and the Unmanifested Prakriti.
From all that unknowable, or Radical Zero, emanates at the beginning of any sidereal universe, the Pythago rean Monad, the Gnostic Father-Mother, the Hindu PurushaPrakriti, the Egyptian Osiris-Isis, the kabalistic Dual Protocosmos or Adam-Kadmon, the Theos-Chaos of the theogony of Hesiod, the Chaldean Uranus, or Fire and Water, the Semite lod-Heve, the Parsi Zeru-Ama the One and Only, the Buddhist Aunadad Ad, the Rauch Elohim or Divine Spirit of the Lord floating above the waters of the first moment of Genesis.
Tarot and Kabbalah, 1978
The word in order to define in a better way ‘That’, which is where all things originate and dissolve, is without a doubt, the Sanskrit word ‘Prabhavapyaya’. So, let this word be translated as place or plane where all things are originated and dissolved.
My Return to Tibet, 1969
Nevertheless, it is necessary to emphasise the transcendental idea that ‘Prabhavapyaya’ is neither the ‘Mother of the World’, nor the womb of the Cosmos, nor the material cause of our planet Earth.

Therefore, it is unquestionable that the existing malleable essence in itself, the homogeneous basis of the universe must be searched for within Parabrahman and Mulaprakriti, the One, That which is under two aspects…

Some oriental authors think that Anupadaka, which is the Buddha of Contemplation, is himself the Father-Mother, that the glorious complement of any earthly Bodhisattva does not have a Father-Mother. Such a concept seems wrong to me, because any Buddha of Contemplation, any Father-Mother glorious complement of the Bodhisattva, obviously, has emanated from the Eternal Common Cosmic Father –this is what we have to know and understand– and from the Unmanifested Divine Mother, the Unmanifested Prakriti.
The Fifth GospelThe Mind and Ethics of Resurrected MastersThird Chamber – Mexico City – December 31. 1975
The Eternal Common Cosmic Father is dual, he is the Father-Mother. From him in turn emanates the Buddha of Contemplation, the particular Father-Mother of any Bodhisattva, and this you must understand.
The Fifth GospelThe Seven Minds and the Seven TruthsThird Chamber – Mexico City – July 13, 1977also in The Words He Uses
So, I don’t think that Anupadaka –the Father-Mother– is an orphan. I think that the inner Father-Mother of each of us emanates from the Eternal Common Cosmic Father-Mother, co-essential with the Absolute Abstract Space. So, I allow myself to disagree with some authors about the term “Anupadaka”, that is, the Buddha of Contemplation devoid of Father and Mother because he is, within himself, the Father and Mother of a Bodhisattva. Actually, Anupadaka is something more than all that, he is that Buddha of Contemplation that has emanated from the Eternal Common Cosmic Father.

Part Two — The Cosmos comes from Chaos
11 passages
IThe Iliaster is the seed of any solar system
In a lecture of the Fifth Gospel a dead solar system survives as substance, the Iliaster, which is the Mulaprakriti of the Orientals. The electricity of the Causal Logos differentiates it at the Dawn into the Chaos, the Limbus Magnum, out of which this Earth came.
And all that past solar system –the only exponents of which nowadays are the lunar satellites of our present system– died physically. But it continues to exist from the point of view of that which is called “substance”. That is, in final synthesis, it turned into something that we could call “pro-matter”, into something that is called “Iliaster”.
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977also in The Root Races
And this is something that makes us think: Iliaster. What is Iliaster? We would say the “proto-hyle” for our physical matter. However, this term, which is very modern, does not satisfy us either. It is Substance, it is the Mulaprakriti of the Orientals.
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977
It seems incredible, but our solar system, in final synthesis, could be reduced to a seed, to its Iliaster, and that is all. Let us take a tree: a tree has developed from a germ, and in the germ lie, potentially, the trunk, the branches, the leaves, the flowers and the fruits. The Iliaster is the seed of any solar system. Thus, the Lunar Chain was reduced to its Iliaster; within the Iliaster matter remained, in potential; it remained latent.
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977also in The Root Races
I have to say in the name of truth that, by means of that type of aforementioned vision of a profoundly “endoteric” nature, it has been possible, then, to investigate the worlds in their Iliaster. They are beyond time, also beyond eternity: they are deposited in the Profound Space.
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977
Oluestesnokhniana: that is the type of vision that has allowed us to investigate in the Mulaprakriti.

Worlds deposited within the deep bosom of the unmanifested, awaiting a new manifestation. How interesting is that!
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977
So. When the dawn of the new creation, of the new Maha-Manvantara was initiated –that is, of the new Great Day in which we currently are–, the Causal Logos or Cause Logos entered into activity. He was the one to initiate the electric whirlwind, the electric hurricane, and electricity was then the one to differentiate the primitive Iliaster; and once differentiated, duality entered into action.
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977
However, the Iliaster, in itself, is not dual: it is monistic. It includes Purusha and Prakriti, that is, the Spirit and the Substance; therefore, it is monistic. But the electricity of the Causal Logos, at the dawn of creation, differentiated that Iliaster, and then “Ideos” emerged, that is, Chaos, the Misterium Magnum, the Magnus Limbus, as there are two existential Limbus: the Magnus Limbus of the macrocosmos and the Limbus of the microcosmos.
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977also in The Law of Correspondence
They have only one key for the investigation of the mysteries of Nature. We have seven keys, and the whole lunar life returned –I repeat– to its Iliaster. There it remained deposited in the Iliaster. That later it differentiated itself with the electrical power to give rise to Chaos or Ideos –or simply, to Misterium Magnum or Limbus Magnum, from where the Universe subsequently emerged thanks to the intervention of Fire–, this is another thing.
The Fifth GospelThe Destruction of our Lunar InheritanceThird Chamber – Mexico City – June 1977

That is the positive aspect, that of Purusha-Prakriti or, simply, that of the intelligence Mahat, which moved from the ancient Moon to the Earth. Because it is obvious that in that great Limbus Magnum –from where this Earth on which we live emerged– was Mahat, the universal intelligence, which is still here and which is one with Prakriti, that is, with life, with Nature.

IIIThe eternal Mother-Space, the profound waters of the abyss
Water stands as the feminine element of creation and the root of the word Mater. Mary and Isis are read as the Great Ocean and the deep waters of Pisces; the Mulaprakriti is shown in every genesis as water; and fire and water are named the Father and the Mother of the universe.
In the books of genesis (from all religious literature), the primordial matter (Mulaprakriti) is represented by the waters. In the beginning, the protoplasm of any nebula is ethereal.

IWhen a Logos fecundates his Chaos
After the Cosmic Night the Logoi impregnate the Chaos with the Word and the sacred fire, and the seven worlds and the physical elements come out of it. The Fifth Gospel adds that the universe arose from Svabhava, the Substance-Mother, and not from a nebula.
57. When the heart of our Solar System began to palpitate after the great Cosmic Night, it continued to repeat the inhalation and the exhalation of the Absolute within the seven “LAYA” centres. The chaotic masses of these centres were fecundated by the Fohat in order for the seven worlds of our Solar System to emanate from the Chaos.

In the dawn of life the Gods sang in their golden language, teaching us the Divine Laws. When the heart of the Solar System began to palpitate after the Great Cosmic Night, then, the army of the Voice fecundated the Chaos in order for life to emerge.

The waters of the Chaos were fecundated with this sexual intercourse of the creative word, in order for life to emerge. Thus, this is how the universe was born. The waters of Genesis were fecundated by the sexual fire of the Verb.
The Aquarian Message, 1960
How did the universe come into being? From a nebula? It is not true, do not tell falsehoods! It arose from Svabhava, from the Substance-Mother, Chaos, Mulaprakriti –the Hindus would say–; that is obvious. That certain rituals –tantric, to be sure– were celebrated at the dawn of the Maha-Manvantara, it is true!
The Fifth GospelKnowing How to Listen
Of course, the Elohim, who as a whole constitute Sabaoth –that Army of the Word– unfolded themselves in the form of the divine androgyne, but by unfolding themselves as male-female, they were sufficiently prepared to fecundate chaotic matter; that Isis and her Masculine Principle would then exercise a copulation of a chemical-metaphysical type to fecundate chaotic matter, it is also true!, to fecundate Svabhava, the Chaos.
The Fifth GospelKnowing How to Listenalso in The Law of Polarities
Then, they separated the superior waters of the chaos from the inferior ones, and those superior ones were fecundated by the Fire, they ascended through the spine of Isis –speaking collectively–, they were fecundated with Fire by the Eternal Masculine Principle. Then, subsequently they were returned to the Chaos so that the Chaos would, in turn, be fecundated. And so life came into being, the seedbed of all that is, has been and will be.

IIFertilize my wife, chaotic matter, the Great Mother
The Father sends the Third Logos to the Great Mother, and she in turn takes the fire of the Gods to make herself fruitful. The Matripadma, the chaotic matter, lies still until the Holy Spirit stirs in her, and the Gods weep as the Absolute withdraws.
In the dawn of life, the Logos of the Solar System fertilized that universal semen with its solar fires so that from there would emerge this marvelous universe in which we live and have our Being. In the dawn of life, the Spirit of God moved over the face of the waters. Only seminal atoms of this universe exist in those primordial waters of life. Within those atoms is the source of all life. The holy fire of the Logos fertilized those seminal atoms so that from there this marvelous universe filled with plants, men and gods would emerge.

IIISeven temples were established in the Chaos
The building of a solar system is told as a liturgy. In seven temples of the primitive Chaos, priest, priestess and a neutral choir of Elohim sing, the three forces are set in order, and the Word makes the Great Womb fertile; each Cosmocrator works under his own cosmic Mother.
This is the Primeval Masonry; these are the workshops of the Cosmocreators. The Priest sings, the Priestess sings and all the Elohim of the Temple sing; their voices resound in the Chaos. Thus the rituals of the fire are realised at the dawn of life and the three forces called masculine, feminine, and neutral, scientifically vibrate producing many phenomena in the Primordial Matter. The Great Mother, the prima materia of the Great Work, is fecundated, and the seeds of all creation sprout forth. So the Pleromic universe is born, so the entire solar system is born.
Christmas Messages, 1952–66also in The Laws of the Three and of the Seven
The sexual magic of the Word created this universe in which we live, move, and have our Being. In the beginning our Solar System was subtle, and then it began to change becoming more and more dense, until taking on its current physical solidity. This universe is then a product of the vibrations of the Word, of music.

Three forces are indispensable to all creation: the positive force, the negative force, and the neutral force. In front of the altar of the temple, one of the Elohim was polarized into masculine form (positive) and another one into feminine form (negative). The choir of the Elohim on the main floor of the temple represented the neutral force. In this way, the order of these three forces was established in each of the seven temples of primitive chaos.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him: and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. The Word fertilized the waters of life, and the germinating universe emerged, radiant in the aurora. The Holy Spirit fertilized the Great Mother and the Christ was born. The Second Logos is always the son of the Virgin Mother. She is always a virgin before, during, and after childbirth. She is Mary, Isis, Isoberta, Rhea, Cybeles, etc. She is primitive chaos, primordial substance, the raw material of the Great Work.

In accordance with the Sacred Law of Heptaparaparshinokh (the Law of Seven), seven temples were established in the Chaos for the construction of this solar system. In accordance with the Sacred Law of Triamazikamno (the Law of Three), the Elohim divided into three groups within every temple to sing in accordance with the Litur of Fire. The work of making fecund the Prakriti, In other words, the Chaos, the Cosmic Mother, the Great Womb, is always the labor of the very sacred Teomertmalogos, the Third Force. Answer: The question that the gentleman asks deserves an immediate answer. I want all of you, ladies and gentlemen, to comprehend with total meridian clarity what the laws of three and seven are. it is urgent that you know that the Cosmocrators, creators of this universe in which we live, move and have our Being, each, under the direction of his particular cosmic Divine Mother Kundalini, worked in the dawn of creation, developing in space the laws of three and seven, so that everything would have life in abundance; only in this manner was our world able to exist In no way should it appear unusual to us that such laws are correlated in the infinitely small and in the infinitely large, in the Microcosm and in the Macrocosm, in all that is, in all that has been and in all that shall be.

IVIn the fertile belly of the Great Mother
Every atom is traced to the womb of the pure Akasha, which is the Divine Mother. The three Logoi place their wisdom, love and igneous power in her, and pre-matter condenses in her belly into the elements.
Every atom and every electron has its origin in the living womb of the pure Akasha, the primordial substance, the Mulaprakiti of the Hindus, the Chaos, the universal seminal waters of Genesis, the eternal feminine symbolized by all feminine deities of ancient religions (The Great Mother, Isis, Isoberta, Rhea, Cybele, Vesta, Mary, Tonantzin, etc.) This primordial substance, the Akasha, this raw material of the Great Work, is without doubt the Divine Mother, Isis, the adorable virgin of all ancient religions, always full of grace.

The Buddha's Necklace, 1967
After the fire has fertilized Her, the Cosmic Christ the Second Logos, penetrates Her belly, the great belly, and is born of Her and in Her in order to be crucified in the worlds. VAlways born of the Virgin Cosmic Mother
The Second Logos is shown as the Son of a Mother who stays virgin before, during and after the birth. The Cosmic Christ comes to life in each new world from her womb, the Chaos and primordial substance, as the Sun is born each winter under Virgo.
As above, so it is below. On initiating the aurora of creation, the sexual fire of the Third Logos fecundates the womb of the Great Mother, the primordial substance. The Second Logos, the Cosmic Christ, accomplishes the second part by incarnating in any worlds that are born so that all beings may have life and have it abundantly.

The solar myth has two aspects. The first represents the cosmic activity of the Second Logos at the dawn of each new world born from the womb of the Great Mother. The second aspect is a summary of the life of every holy individual who becomes an incarnation of the Second Logos, the Cosmic Christ The hem of the solar myth has always been represented at all times as a god-man, and his life has developed and unfolded according to the course of the sun, which is the cosmic vehicle of the Solar Logos.
The Buddha's Necklace, 1967also in The Intimate Christ, The Solar Logos
In other solar myths, the Divine Savior, the Intimus Christ of every holy individual, is always born from the womb of the Immaculate Virgin, the Divine Mother Kundalini. This reminds us of the Child-Sun, on December 24th or 25th , coming to life, advancing, walking towards the north at the same time as the constellation of Virgo, the Immaculate Virgin shines resplendent at its zenith. The Sun, the Cosmic Christ, whether in the cosmos or in man, is always born of the Virgin Cosmic Mother.

VIWithin the profound womb of the Eternal Mother Space
At the end of the Great Day the universe goes back into the waters and the vital germs sleep in the Chaos. When a new Cosmic Day opens, Mother Space unfolds like a lotus bud and the universe is gestated in her again.
Those are the waters of Amrita. That is the Mulaprakriti of the Orientals. The entire universe will be reduced to its semen when the Great Night falls. The universe came out of the water and will return to water The pure water of life is the Labarum of the Temple. IWorlds are gestated in the Great Womb of the Divine Mother
Millions of universes, galaxies of anti-matter among them, are held in the bosom of Mother Space and condense there from the subtle to the solid. The Rune UR names her womb, where beasts, humans and Gods take form, and humanity itself is said to gestate there for nine ages.
Worlds are gestated in the Great Womb of the Divine Mother. Virgo governs the Womb. Virgo is very intimately related with the intestines and in a very special manner with the Pancreas and the Islets of Langerhans which secrete insulin which is so important for sugar digestion.

IAlways mentioned in all theologies
The cosmic Mother is listed under the names the peoples gave her: Isis and Nut, Rhea and Cybele, Gaia and the primitive Venus, Aditi and Mulaprakriti, Juno, Demeter and Maia. The cow and the syllable IO serve as her signs, and the ten Sephiroth are read as ten waves of the Eternal Mother Space.
Oh ISIS, Mother of the Cosmos, root of Love, trunk, bud, leaf flower and seed of all that exists, we conjure Thee, naturalizing force. We call the Queen of the Space and of the Night, and kissing Her loving eyes, drinking the dew of Her lips, inhaling the sweet aroma of Her body, we exclaim. OH NUT! THOU ETERNAL SEITY OF HEAVEN Who art the PRIMORDIAL SOUL, Who art what was and what shalt be, whose veil no mortal has lifted, when You are beneath the irradiating stars of the nocturnal and profound sky of the desert, with purity of heart and in the flame of the serpent, we call Thee. (Gnostic Ritual) Glory, Glory unto the MOTHER KUNDALINI who leads the SADHAKA from Chakra to Chakra and illuminates his intellect, identifying him with the supreme Brahman, by means of Her infinite Grace and Power. IThe Prakriti has its particularity in each man
In the Cosmic Day the Prakriti unfolds as infinite Space, as Nature and as man, the Three Mothers. That third aspect is personal: each Master has his own Prakriti with her own name, and the student is told to work with her higher aspects.
During the Great Pralaya, these Three Gunas are in perfect equilibrium on the Great Scales of Justice; when imbalance of the Three Gunas is produced, the aurora of the Mahamvantara is initiated and the universe is born from within the bosom of the Prakriti. During the Great Pralaya, the Prakriti is unitotal, integral. In the Manifestation, in the Mahamuantara, the Prakriti differentiates into the Three Cosmic Aspects.

At one time it found expression through Jesus of Nazareth, through Hermes Trismegistus, through the Buddha Gautama Sakyamuni, through Quetzalcoatl etc and it may express through any Avatar. So as to be able to express, this force must descend from superior spheres and enter the womb of a Virgin called Isis, Maria, Tonantzin, Insoberta, Maia, Cibeles etc, who is the individual Cosmic Mother, given that each one of us has his own.

How this was made. All fifty-two books were extracted (73,105 paragraphs,
2,157,671 words) and swept on his names for her as the cosmos: Mother Space, the Cosmic, Great, Eternal and
Universal Mother, the Mother of the World, the Prakriti and Mulaprakriti, Marah, the womb of the Mother, Mother
Nature and the Shekinah; and, where they stood beside the Mother or the making of a universe, the Chaos, the Great
Ocean and the primordial waters, Abstract Space, Aditi, Nut and the Akasha, Rhea and Cybele, and Binah. The
Chaos of the alchemist and of the abyss, the seminal waters and the Akashic records were turned away. The
paragraph either side of each name was offered too. That returned 895 candidate paragraphs in 42
books, 500 of them by name.
Every candidate was read twice, by independent readers working from a written brief. The two passes
agreed on whether to print 95.8% of the time and on the class 88.8%, and a third reader, who
saw neither verdict, settled the 38 they did not. 187 were judged printable, 3 of them
were left out as restatements, and where his sentence ran across paragraphs the pieces were joined into one
passage, 5 fewer in all, so 179 are printed here. The rest are recorded with the
reason each was set aside.
What was set aside. 218 stood next to a passage on the subject but were about something else,
136 belonged to another work of the shelf already built (most of them the particular Mother of
Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted), 68 were a false friend (another Chaos, other waters, the
fire as a force), 50 named the subject only in passing, and 39 were myth, narrative or ceremony
told for itself. 163 more were judged and not printed, 22 of them a reprint of a passage kept
or the same teaching kept elsewhere; Mother Death and the five aspects were kept for later works of this family.
Some of it he spoke. 18 passages come from the two Fifth Gospel
volumes, across 5 named lectures, each cited by the name of the lecture.
No word of his is changed. No mend was needed and nothing was lifted out of a passage.
No sentence of his is cut in half. Each range was extended against the corpus until his
sentence closed, and 27 ranges run over more than one paragraph.
Three paragraphs were left out on purpose. Each restates, with nothing added, a passage printed
here, and in each case the fuller copy is kept.
109 passages also stand in a finished work, and every one is marked where it
stands, most of them in Whose Veil No Mortal Has Lifted (70), then The Law of Polarities (13) and The Words He Uses (9). Shared passages print here too. An overlap is allowed wherever the
teaching needs it. What is not allowed is an overlap a reader cannot see.
Checked five ways. Every reader’s note was proved to sit on the passage as it is
actually printed. Every printed pair was compared as sequences. Every ragged edge was repaired or named.
Every one of the 4 passages marked a practice was proved to carry its own
instruction. And every passage was checked word for word against a fresh extraction of its book.
A work of The Divine Mother, the third family of the shelf, after the Being and the Christ.
Its first work is the Mother as each one’s own particular Mother; this second work is the Mother as Space,
the Chaos and the Great Ocean, from whom that particular Mother comes. It wears the family’s lilac mist
ground and its outline with the gold hairline inside, in deep-ocean blue.
